It was a beautiful night to be alive. The skies were dark and the streets were thriving with commotion. In a particular spot of the city, the air was vibrating with loud techno music, and chattering humans in a club called Syndicate. Among the humans sat a young shape-shifter. She leaned towards the bar tender and whispered something to him. The human male looked at her for a moment, he passed her a grin, then filled up a glass with a smoky green liquid. Smirking, she slipped a hundred into his fingers. She stood up, relieving her beautifully draped, open back, black mini dress with gold chains accenting down her back.
Her long legs guided her through the crowded dance floor with little effort. Lyra looked at the humans that danced around her. Each one seemed content with their dancing, feeling they were good enough to dance with her. Truly, human were foolish creatures. One man came up to her, dancing to the beat, the song was rapid, he was keeping up fairly well. Lyra pursed her lips together in thought. No, he wouldn’t do. Snuffing him off, she turned. Lyra wanted to have some fun with another type of being, and human wasn’t on the menu. Until such a creature came to satisfy Lyra, she would not continue on the dance floor.
Taking a long sip from her potent drink, she located an empty table. Glaring at it, Lyra stalked over with the heavy drink still to her lips. Once at the table, Lyra gently sat on the table-top instead of a chair. She crossed her legs swiftly, causing a few stares. Humans were so simple minded. If they had any sense, they wouldn’t come near her. But, humans, being as simple as they are flocked her, asking for a dance. Each time, she denied their feeble attempts with a silent stare. Her eyes flickered with excitement. She could feel something, or someone coming closer. Lyra could feel it, her lust for enjoyment would be cured tonight.
