Stepping in the church like temple, Senna looked around. She had some free time now, and since Lokia allowed her to wander, she spent her freedom outside as much as possible. Gaze wandering the grand building, Senna started when the large wooden doors closed behind her. Turning, she saw no one. 'Okay, ten points for the creepy church place.' She thought to herself, watching the doors a little longer before turning back to the rows of pews and tall poles holding candles which show they've shed light many a time before. They all -the pews and candles- led up to an altar of a near forgotten belief.
Sighing, Senna seated herself in one of the pews closest to the front, and looked around. A stair case caught her eye, it seemed old, made out of stone blocks, old and faded in colouring. Getting up from her seat, Senna made her way over to the staircase and slowly made her way up it. It was one of those grand staircases, that spirl up as if they don't have an ending.
Slowly making her way up, Senna soon came to a circular room, windows framing almost every side of it. The room itself was filled with golden streams of light, reflecting against the windows and bouncing around the room in threads. In awe, she made her way into the room. The room itself was made of stone, like the rest of the building, and the threads either disapeared into the cool stonework, or reflected off of it as well, breaking into smaller, weaker -yet still eaqually beautiful- threads which carried on until they grew to weak, and simply were no more in existance.
In awe, the girl made her way into the room of golden threads. She held out a hand, and the light shone on her skin, and she giggled. The noise surprised her, but it made something in her snap, and she giggled again, feeling elated and full of teh sunshine that refracted around her. Bursting into fits of musical laughter and giggles, Senna spun around the room.

Raythril swiftly walked up the stone steps that lead to the entrance of the proud building. The steps were chilly on the pads of his bare feet, it was something that he could easily ignore but still acknowledged it. He gripped the handle of the large wooden doors and pulled them back. Allowing him to enter the church. He started to make his way through the center of the building, past the pews and their lit up decorates. Straight to his destination, in front of the altar.
It was beautifully decorated, not too complex, yet not painfully simple. He wasn't even one to go into the city like this, but he had to make a trip eventually. It was when he walked by, that he decided that he was going to stop in. He stopped at the floor of the altar, and dropped to the ground. The jingling of the metal objects strung on his jacket stopped after an abrupt clank. Sitting comfortably on top the back of his leg, knees resting on the cold stone floor. He wasn't an extremely religious man, he believed but wasn't a hardcore worshiper, that was for sure. He looked down and a silver coin that was on the ground by the altar caught his eye. Picking off the forgotten piece from the ground, he held it between his thumb and index finger, inspecting it quickly. It didn't look like any currency that he had ever seen, and it was obviously something he had never ran into. Raising an eyebrow, he stuck it into his pocket, telling himself that he should look into it at a later time.
He closed his eyes and let his head bow down. The main reason that he liked places like this was it was calming to him, and it was quiet. It was by far nicer then the busy markets, and the soul broken slaves walking around the place. Sometimes those slaves drove him crazy, he didn't agree with the slave driving, but it wasn't anything to throw a huge fit over. The wild one's where the one's that ticked him off though, no matter how nice you try to be sometimes they just wouldn't listen to what he was saying.
His thoughts were interrupted by a single giggle, he opened his left eye and glanced around the area in his peripheral vision. Which was injured greatly since all his hair was draped over his face. Growling in annoyance, he looked up and brushed his hair back and looked around the floor of the church. He figured that it came from outside, and gently closed his eyes again, and was just about to let his head drop back down when he heard a loud burst of laughter. Raythril's eyes snapped open and looked up, figuring that the noise was coming from upstairs. He folded his arms, and waited, and waited. When it didn't stop he rolled his eyes and heaved back up, the cluttered assortment of metal objects clanged together as he made it back on his feet.
Raythril looked over at the large spiral staircase, and stared his trek into the circular room which it led to. It was full of beams of light that were reflected from the windows, looking very serene in the stone room. Well, it would have been if there wasn't a violently giggling little noise maker in the room anyway. He glanced around, not finding anything that could be even remotely hilarious, unless she snapped. 'The church should have her exorcised' He thought to himself, honestly thinking that the brunette was insane. Actually attempting to get out of that area before she took notice of him was the plan of the moment.

It took Senna a moment to realize there was another in the room, but when she did, she stopped, spinning to look at the person with a gasp of embarrassment. Blushing, the Lycan looked upon a tall red haired man, his hair itself was long, probably reaching his mid-back. The male was watching her as if she was insane, and she didn't doubt that she probably looked that way, twirling and giggling the way she had been.
Nervously looking down, she watched as a few rays of sun shone over her skin, and then they all momentarily disappeared. Looking up and around the room, she saw that the threads of light had left. Outside the windows, the sky had turned gray with clouds, signaling a possible rain later on in the day.
"Uhm, hi." Senna said, turning to the redheaded male, a blush on her features. The guy wasn't that bad looking, to be completely honest. He was wearing a black jacket, which was open, showing off smooth skin underneath it. He wasn't wearing a top under it, which made Senna's blush darken. At least his pants were more... decent. They were black and baggy, clinging to him loosely, and they had pockets almost everywhere (side of knee, leg, waist, and prolly butt) like army pants.
Senna blinked when a ray of sun shot into her left eye, momentarily blinding her, until she took a step back, stepping out of the harsh light in her eyes and back into the threads which had returned. Apparently rain was not on the agenda for today after all.

Raythril nodded slowly, mostly she wasn't convincing him that she was the nearest bit sane. He glanced around the room, the light that was echoing through would flicker, or disappear only to return. He sat there in the awkward silence that was starting to drown the area. Any other time he would have just walked away from any particular crazy lady, but since she still appeared to have enough brains to stop spinning and speak. He figured that he couldn't leave now, and if he did, who knows. She could be a hunter, a demon hunter that knows that he isn't a human, even though he was comfortably disguised in his human form. Still, hunters in general are good at what finding what they target, it wouldn't surprise him at all if a demon hunter could tell when a demon is under disguise.
"Hello," He greeted back, not really enthusiastically, but still polite enough not to be considered rude. "May I ask who you are and what you are doing?" He responded with a little half wave, flexing his fingers nervously. 'This is why I don't live in the city, you are forced to encounter awkward situations,' He sighed internally, he knew that he wasn't great with conversation. He lifted up his left hand and made a spinning motion with his wrist and index finger, "Other then this of course," Raythril smiled weakly, flexing his toes since the stone flooring in the room was seeming to get colder the longer he stood in one place.
Raythril figured that he should move, since his feet didn't appreciate freezing on the stone ground. So he shuffled over to one of the closest windows, trying not to turn his back on the brunette girl for too long. He didn't know much about her so he didn't want to end up dead or beaten, he had been alive for a long time, and he wasn't willing to go yet. He peered out the window, looking at the passersby walking past below. He glanced back at the girl, who hadn't mentioned her name or answered his question yet, rather expectantly. The Demon noticed that her blush was going down, but she still had the light pink tint, hoping that talking back wouldn't flare it back up. He disliked unwanted attention from complete strangers, no matter how cute they were. He didn't see the deal, he was just wearing clothes, and he hated cutting his hair. End of story, he is never going to cut it, demon/human or any other form.

Watching the other cautiously move towards one of the windows. He glanced out the window, but kept an eye on her. It made her nervous, being scrutionized, especially by some odd male who didn't even wear tops. Letting her eyes travel down, she noted his bare feet;'Or shoes, apparently.' She thought. The still air was interupted by his voice, which was deep, obviously male. "I'm Senna... Senna Kaminari." Small smile playing at her lips at his hand motions, she shrugged, "You know, just having fun." Grinning now, she walked over to the window where the other was standing, "You do that often?" She asked, adverting her attention from him to glance out the window. Grinning at her own question, she turned her head, squinting into a few rays of sun as she looked up at the other.

Raythril glanced out of the side of his eye not really understanding her question. It could have been taken in a couple of different ways. He looked through the window again, nothing of any particular interest caught his eye, and grew rather bored of the sight already. No matter what people said, in no way was the city more interesting then the forest, unless you counted chaos wise. The same thing always happened, day in and day out, after living as long as he has, a lot of things don't surprise you anymore. Well, other then the spinning physco lady in the top floors of a church.
He sighed, "My name is Ray," He greeted, extending out his hand to offer in a little sign of friendliness. He chuckled slightly at her second question, that he was analyzing when he was trying to buy sometime while looking out the window. "And yes, I do enjoy having fun once and a while," Raythril had an idea that they had two completely different ideas of the term fun. Mostly because he didn't see the entertainment value of turning around in circles in a windowed room. He did however enjoy looking out the windows, but that did grow old fast.
"But, if you mean 'you do that often?' as do I do random hand motions to describe myself..." He trailed, thinking about his little statement. Reflecting on himself mostly, to see if he did in fact do that a lot, and after the equivalent of two seconds he came to his own conclusion. "Then yes, yes I do." He answered, wondering if he should ask a question of his own. He didn't really have much to ask, or to go by really. So he figured that asking a question that anyone could answer would be the best trail to take. "Are you human or otherwise?" He personally would have guessed that she was human, but she could be a werewolf or a lycan, she really didn't look like a vampire though, so he doubted that.

Senna smiled over at the other, trying to keep her eyes from trailing down to the flat planes of his chest. A blush rose to her cheeks momentarily when she utterly failed at her task, then quickly glanced away, hoping he hadn't noticed. She laughed when he'd made the comment on the hand motions, "No, that's not what I meant, but, sure." She said while laughing. Turning her attention out the window, she lifted a hand, watching as the light rays played on her skin, disappeared, only to re-appear as clouds drifted across the sun. She stopped moving her hand around, and froze when he asked the question as to her... species. It probably wasn't anything to worry about, if he was a human, great, he'll run away screaming... maybe. If not, well then there shouldn't be a problem, right? "Lycan." She said. Her answer was short, and she continued tilting her hand, inspecting the rays as they shone on her skin from different angles. Letting her hand fall, she gave the other a tentative smile when he didn't run, "You?"

Raythril glanced over at her, 'Lycan, huh? Explains enough,' he thought, before being jerked around by his own question. Of course, he could lie and easily at that and keep his amazingly hidden identity from another person. Or, he could just say it, there wasn't that many hunters out there, but there were still people that would try to take him as a slave. Not something that he would take laying down, so he'd be safe from that. "I'm older then dirt, and I'm not an angel." He said in a teasing manner, "Let's see if you can guess it." He figured that it was a good compromise to himself, he wasn't lying about a thing, and he wasn't giving himself away. If she gave him a horrified look and got it right, then it would be easy to laugh it off and say that he was just a regular guy.
He watched the light flicker again as a cloud outside covered the sun for a couple of seconds. He had no idea why she was so enchanted by the strands of light that was shinning through the windows. It was pretty, yes, but it wasn't exactly that great to be so fixated on it for so long. Raythril pushed that thought away, he shouldn't be the king of what was deemed worthy of someones time. Especially since he was that kind of person that didn't like to wear shoes, and hated living in houses. So, he couldn't really judge what other people did.

Smiling at the other's teasing remark, Senna raised a hand to her chin, tapping it lightly with her index. "Hm, let me guess. Perhaps a demon?" She asked, slightly nervous. Weren't demons supposed to be... you know, evil? Taking a step back, she tensed, muscles prepared for anything.
'He's acted nice so far. I doubt he'd try anything.' A voice whispered in her head. 'Well, let's see.' Reaching out mentally, Senna merged her mind with his, trying to read his thoughts. A bunch of random things; she was surprised for his love of nature; something about some girl in the past, long past. She blushed as the memories reached her. Locking eyes with the demon, she inspected him, trying to read his mind and eyes at the same time. She hoped he wouldn't be able to tell she was reading his mind, but at the same time, she couldn't think anything but his thoughts, or her thoughts would show in his mind. It was troublesome, but she was used to doing it now after years of practise.

Raythril winced, immediately bringing his hand up over to the side of his head. A mild pain buzzing around in the center of his temple, and surged to the opposite end. He knew the feeling very well, it was the familiar unpleasant sensation of his mind being intruded. He always had two options when this happened, to repel the Lycan from his head and risk the inevitable that it would end up hurting a hell of a lot worse then it was at the moment. The other, was just sit in the thumping pain while someone was shuffling though his thoughts. Of course he knew what option he was planning to choose.
He straightened up, and pictured a glass dome around himself. It was the only way he was able to do it with guaranteed success, there were other methods he'd tried in the past, some weren't as... nice as the others. Raythril pushed out all the thoughts out of the little imaginary dome, focusing on kicking the girl out of whatever she was doing in his mind. The exact moment that he got her out, the humming ache, evolved into a splitting internal torture. He gasped at the sudden feeling of someone hacking at his skull, no matter how many times he has repelled someone, it was something no one could get used to. "Yes, you guessed right. Now stop that," He muttered, glancing up at Senna from the ground that he was previously staring at. He hoped that she would, then at least it wouldn't hurt any longer, well then he wouldn't have to repel her away. Raythril could hold the defense for a long time, it was that it was so pointless to try to hold after a certain point of time. "I'm not evil, so you can stop trying to kill me," He said, with the slightest pleading tone to his voice. He wouldn't admit that he was close to begging her to quit it, but he was tempted.

Senna watched in slight awe as Ray bent down, holding his head as if he had a majour headache. Frowning, she took a step back. "Are you-" She was cut off by his mutter, sounding slightly annoyed. Pulling back her mind tendrils in shock, Senna stood there in silence, unsure of what she should -could- say.
Watching him, no longer enthralled in watchng the light, Senna allowed a look of confusion to cross her face after a while. "You can tell when I'm reading your mind?" She asked, her voice laced with wonder. Stepping closer to him, she tilted her head to the side, bringing her face close to his. Her eyes ran over his features, as if she were looking for something, but couldn't find it. Eyebrows coming together, she reached up with a hand, touching his cheek with a finger, she moved her eyes to his. Dark green eyes were there, almost as if the forest -his home- were in them.
Blushing, she stepped back, moving her hand behind her. "Sorry." She mumbled, for both the close inspection as well as the mind-reading.

Raythril glanced away, letting his long red hair cover his face as it burned red with embarrassment. That was something that he found that always made him all flustered, was when there was sudden closeness that he didn't, or couldn't predict. For those couple of moments he forgot about the searing pain that was one his head, but of course it didn't leave forever, as it returned with a vengeance. He almost immediately put his mind barrier down, but stopped himself so it died off slowly, making sure that she wouldn't try to 'read his mind' again. "That's fine," He said, waving his hand, as if he was demissing her apology. "It's no big deal," Of course it was a big deal to him, but he decided not to look like a child and throw a fit about something so minor to someone else.
He figured that he would answer he question, he didn't know if it was rhetorical or not, but figured it was best to explain none the less. "No, I don't know if you're 'reading my mind,'. But, I do know if there is something going on in my brain that isn't natural." He thought that he answered it good enough, at least in a way that is could be easily understood. And, in his mind, that was all that really mattered.
He stood up properly, and pushed his hair out of his face, knowing that the redness in his face should have been long gone by that moment. Something like that would probably ruin his image, not that he really had one, but the one that he did have however, he wanted to keep. He looked out the window for a moment awkwardly, secretly wondering what she had found in there. Raythril had lived for a very long time, and having someone snooping around in there was a little nerving. "Thank's for telling me what you were doing," He stated, looking over at her, raising an eyebrow, "Find anything interesting?" He asked, seeing if she would say what she saw, heard, read, whatever. He really didn't know how the whole mind reading thing worked.

Senna bit her lip guiltily when he'd mentioned that she hadn't told him what she'd seen. Looking away, her eyes glazed over slightly as she remembered it for a moment.
The thing with when she merged minds with another person, was that their memories were shared with her, their every thought, every wish, dream, and feelings. When she'd been in Ray's mind, the memory of his old lover had hit her the hardest. She had been a human, and died. The feelings for her, no matter how old, were still strong. The spark of happiness when he thought of her, still there, though now laced with the hurt that she was gone forever. The pain she'd -he'd- felt though, over her death, was so painful, it took her breath away.
Coming back to the present she looked over at the demon. "Nothing." She mumbled, looking away. She felt embarrassed, and glanced back at him. Seeing the unimpressed look from the demon, she frowned.
"Well..." She trailed off, looking away again, "I was surprised about how much you love the... nature." She said, lamely. She bit her lip once again, and looked back over at him for a quick second, before looking away. "And... Sophia." Turning to him and looking him, straight in his beautiful emerald eyes. "She loved you, you know." She dropped her eyes to the ground, "The way she looked at you and all. You loved her too, didn't you?" She was mumbling now. Her mind telling her to shut up, but she couldn't.
She winced when she looked up, afraid to see pain, hurt, disgust, whatever was in his eyes. She was scared now too. Sure, he wasn't planning on attacking her before, but what about now? Now that she'd told him what she'd seen, opened up those old wounds of agony?

Raythril stepped back again, and returned his gaze to the window. There wasn't anything more to see, and he knew that, nothing was there to take note of at all. It was, however the perfect excuse for him to appear to be admiring something else. It would make the whole thing just plain humiliating. Not like having someone snooping around in your personal thoughts and feelings was bad enough, he could barely even look at her now. He had no idea what kind of expression was currently painted on his face.
He was actually rather taken aback about, both the Sophia and... nature thing, mostly the first one. The idea of her hadn't crossed his mind in a long time, and being rudely reminded like that was a good kick in the stomach. He felt like he was almost being, insulted, having someone tell him about a person that she didn't even know? That she would never have to know because Sophia had been dead for over a hundred years, at least -guaranteed-.
She had been the most beautiful, caring, gentle thing that had ever graced the earth. It was typical that she was restrained in a human form, never even given the chance to break the bonds that were placed on her human span. She was pure, innocent, but yet she lived... she had to keep... Living, knowing that she would forever forced to live her life as a creature, eternally sitting on the boundaries of good and evil, life and death. Bless her soul, if the gods were merciful beings, then they would have made her an angel. Of course they wouldn't care about what made him happy, he wasn't created from the hands of them. He was sent for murder and mayhem that he can't even cause.
Pathetic. Monstrous Freak
He was too good for hell, not good enough for Heaven, it was like there was someone finding his life like a hilarious joke. A mere form of cheap entertainment. He was a basically good person, a person that had decent morals and was kinder to nature then many others. But yet, according to god, he didn't have the slightest chance to get into Heaven. Why not? Because he was 'born' the way he was? Created to sir up some chaos, and is automatically deemed as 'evil', just because that was the majority? Raythril, found it far from entertaining.
Who was the real monster sent on the world to hurt, Raythril or the gods? He didn't let people meet, then tear them apart, with words like mortality and death. They sat there, on their high horse, watching the earth he stood on, become over filled with hatred and greed. Making, simple White Angels fix what has been erupted of their own children? Even he, a hellion, knew that the slavery is going too far, that the greedy, selfish people out there are killing the ground they all stand on. Lover's slowly dying, nature, once again, losing it's course, 'good' and 'evil' are turning into more grey then black and white.
In the end, he would always be the demon though, not an angel, nor a human. Raythril glanced over at Senna, realizing that he had been inside of his own little world for quite a while. Probably looking like an idiot, staring off into space out of the church window. "Yes, I loved her." He stated, his sight becoming slightly down cast, "More then I ever could've possibly known." His fist tightened, thinking, that maybe if he had tried even a little harder. She would never have died. Of course, that was demon thinking, according to 'God', no one could be saved from death.
Raythril glanced up at the other girl again, frowning over at him, not even feeling like shedding a smile anymore. "Nature is gorgeous as well," 'But not as gorgeous as her.' He left that part out, slightly disappointed that something, that was meant to be between him and Sophia was something that another person, had insight in too. He lifted up his hand and stretched it out cupping the side of her face in his hand, smiling slightly as he spoke. "But, let's keep it our little secret, okay?" Raythril asked, cocking his head slightly to the side. Wondering what she was going to say next, hopefully agreeing to his request.

Watching in silence, Senna waited for him to say something, half in anticipation, half in fear. She still wasn't sure if he was angry with her or not, she doubted he wouldn't be (angry) though, at least the smallest bit. Waiting, watching, she stood there, the silence engulfing her like a second skin. The silence rang in her ears, louder then any other noise she'd ever heard. Or was it anticipation ringing through her ears? Either way, it was loud, yet silent.
Her muscles tensed when Ray turned to her, and he spoke. His deep voice rang over her, making her stomach knot uncomfortably. His hand lifted, and she tensed, expecting a slap or something. She was surprised when his hand cupped her face, "But let's keep it our little secret, okay?". His hot breath washed over her, carrying the words to her, and Senna could feel her heart melting.
His hand was hotter than his breath had been. Raising her own hand to his, she rested it against his, keeping it there, and she nodded. Raising her eyes to his, she peered into them, her own brown eyes feeling as if they were liquid pools. Her heart caught in her throat, then moved down, settling as butterflies in her stomach.
Before she really knew what she was doing, she felt herself lean forward and up. Eyes fluttering closed, her lips touched his momentarily. Heat rushed through her, sweet, warming; knocking her back to her senses. Her eyes snapped open, and she pulled away, blushing. His hand fell from her cheek as she looked away, red tint still in place on her features.
