As she was placed on the ground she automatically began looking around for an escape route, though she didn't move. She stood before him, short and quiet. Adorable. Her fur had settled, no longer on end, but she still seemed a little tense. He told her not to run and she wondered if it was possible to get out of here. She noted the emotions in the room and tried to determine who would be easy to influence and who wouldn't. They had all moved away from them and she sighed softly. It was easier to influence people when she was closer. When she could look into their eyes. She could still do it from far away but they had to be within seeing and hearing distance. One vampire had already proven to be weak-minded. The one before her, though, not so much. She almost had Isis, though the human...or whatever she was, seemed to have a bit more will than Ren had thought.
Renee turned back to the man, Lucius apparently. She stood as tall as she could, her hands on her hips and her eyes narrowed. She had said she would listen to him, so that's what she was going to do. At his introduction, Renee realized that he was one of the higher ups. She obviously wasn't impressed. She heard his words about lycans and werewolves and she smiled a bit. At least she wouldn't have to worry about having dogs around. Stupid creatures. Angels, humans, nothing seemed good enough for him. But here he was with a Neko. He couldn't trust her, could he? Though she did seem trustworthy to people who didn't know her. They felt as though she could be trusted and that was one reason she could get people to think what she wanted them to. Trust was a big issue. She wondered how much power this man had in the city. He seemed a bit controlling.
The pretty boy smiled at her and she frowned back at him, not sure where he was going with this. Everything he had said had nothing to do with her. Though what he said next seemed to have something to do with her. More with what she could do. "Seems you have been doing your homework, Luc," she said as he talked about her stealing and being sold in the auction. "And if I refuse?" she asked, staring at him. "You use me anyway," she added, answering her own question. He was offering her comfort and security. Safety. Lucius bent down and his voice lowered. She listened carefully, her ears twitching. Her tail wasn't moving now. She listened to him talk and she smirked. "Oh my, how could I refuse," she laughed, rolling her eyes. She obviously didn't like the idea and she wasn't going to be miss obedient for him. Just like with Kayen, though she had been more viscious towards him because he was cruel.

Oh, Renee had spunk, that was definite, if one could call it that. Isis grinned, thinking of herself when she was still like that, not tamed, wild and free, before the incident with the vampire that caused everything else to happen to her, as though it were a chain effect . . Odd, but it was easier to be in the presence of so many vampires now, unlike when Isis had first been brought back. She was always on edge, stuttering, looking like a deer caught in the headlights. But, gradually, it was easier to adjust to it, slipping into the life she now led. Renee, however, didn't seem as though she would adjust so easily. But there was a difference between adjusting and giving in. Isis didn't give in, she just changed to better herself for now. Her mind was still her own, she still chose to obey, rather than doing it by someone else's will.
She was definitely going to make it hard on herself. Tenacity was prominent in Renee, and Isis gave a small shake of the head, her footsteps toward the walls, tracing the patterns there, looking back to the two occasionally. Renee wouldn't escape; Isis would make sure of that. It was easy to frighten people with he powers, the ones that she had, thanks to the vampire that killed her family. She no longer felt any resentment or bitterness, but simply shrugged, and moved on. Isis began to walk along the wall, studying the objects that hung there. Those two could negotiate. Isis wasn't needed unless the neko put up a problem, though she highly doubted that now.
Her attitude was apathy now, though Isis was annoye with Renee for getting into her head. It was a weird feeling, an odd, uncomfortable one, and Isis was new to it, making the experience compltely alien. So, she closed her eyes and stopped where she was in the perimeter of the room, and tried to find Renee within, if possible, to see where she resided in her mind. Perhaos getting the woman out wasn't as easy as Isis had imagined it would be.

Lucius had always been a man with a plan; grand ideas floating about his head. His particular skill in memorization of everything that ever crossed before his consciousness made it easy for him to piece things together and see everything so clearly. His mastery of hindsight afforded him a bit of foresight-- or, rather, the ability to determine the most logical outcome of an event. He could not predict what the future was, but he could predict how things would most likely go by looking at the facts presented to him.
Thus as he stared at the Neko girl before him, he saw the various paths that could be taken and their most logical outcomes. She fit well into his plans, and would no doubt be of tremendous use to have around to make humans and others forget of the things that Lucius and his clients would prefer they did not see. She would be able to sneak into places and steal from him valuable documents containing information, or rare artifacts for his collection of history. She could so clearly be all part of the plan. But, it all relied on how he would either have to win her or break her, focusing him now on this particular moment as he stood, the paragon of calmness, before her.
A misleadingly soft chuckle escaped the throat of the elder, youthful-looking vampire as he nodded his head. "I'm a man who likes to get all of my facts straight before waltzing into something... It's sort of my 'thing'," replied Lucius, an oddly playful smirk on his face, which transformed into a clearly fake-friendly smile. "Yes, I use you anyway. But I like to ask nicely first, just in case an arrangement can be made without violence." Lucius liked to avoid fighting when necessary; it rarely accomplished anything lasting, in his experience.
He tilted his head curiously, sensing the sarcasm rather blatantly but deciding not to pay too much heed to it at the moment. "There we are, then. I'm glad we could make a deal. Here's your collar... nasty thing, I know, but it is necessary until you're trustworthy enough to let go without a leash. And, do trust me when I say that good and loyal service does reap its rewards," said Lucius, extending the collar towards her, "the most beneficial and enticing, of course, being eventual freedom."

Renee nodded her head as he spoke. She supposed he was a smart man. Smarter than her. Then again, he had been living longer as well. Eighteen years was hardly enough time to know as much things as he knew. Isis had wandered off, though she was still close, probably just in case she tried to run. Not many people knew when Renee was using them. She made it seem like they wanted to do it. Sometimes they could feel her in their mind but they probably wouldn't know what that was. Lucius had already studied up on what she could do, it seemed. He had probably anticipated her trying to get a grasp on his mind. Renee was quite amused by her power. If she worked at it long enough she could actually persuade someone that they were blind. they would lose their sight and all because they thought they couldn't see. Things that people thought controlled a lot about them. If she made a woman think she was pregnant the woman would begin to have morning sickness and her stomach would grow. Shew ould begin to have symptoms of pregnancy.
Renee especially loved working on people who were hypochondriacs. They were such silly things. It was bad enough that her just saying she was sick caused them to be sick, but the fact that she could enhance that feeling made it even worse. Renee loved her abilities, obviously. She liked to be able to play with people. On the streets, there were plenty of people to make "friends" with. Then when she grew tired of them she could make them forget they were even there. Make them forget her. She usually saw them again anyway. Sometimes it was easier to influence someone she had already influenced. Though sometimes it was harder. Especially for vampires who had begun to understand what she was doing. She didn't like for people to resist her, just like Lucius didn't like for people to reject him. She could see him staring at her and she shifted a bit where she stood. Despite loving attention, she couldn't stand feeling his eyes on her.
"Well, thanks for asking nicely then," she said, rolling her eyes again. At least he had a bit of respect. Well, not really. He didn't respect her choice. She chose not to be here and he was going to take her anyway. He didn't want thing to get violent and Renee pretty much agreed. But she wouldn't have gotten that way if he hadn't acted the way he had. If he hadn't ordered his slave to keep her from getting away. There was still anger eating away at her. She still felt the need to run and fight. That would have explained the nervous twitching. She was in no way happy about this arrangement. She was taking it a bit better than she had with Kayen and only because Lucius had yet to attack her. She hadn't like to be picked up that way, but it was better than her last master who pulled her by her hair. She reached up a hand to tug on her ear a bit before moving it to the back of her head and rubbing gently.
His next words made her narrow her eyes into a glare. Trying to escape would be harder with that collar on. At least he agreed it was nasty. He moved it toward her and she took a step back, not wanting it on her. She felt a little skittish. She didn't want him touching her then and she certainly didn't want the collar. She hissed a bit but stood still and stared at him with angry eyes. "I don't want that," she growled. She knew it wouldn't make any difference, she ended up in the collar anyway.

Still continuing the circling, Isis wondered how long it would be until somebody either got annoyed with her, or just ran into her, as she was walking with her eyes closed, along the wall. It would be hard to run into sombody though, because the nercromancer could always tell where people were. So that was out of the question, but still, interesting. Gliding along carefully, Isis opened her eyes to smirk at the collar once more. They seemed to be making some prgress, at least. Well, it was obvious that Renee would lose quite from the beginning. The girl just didn't have enough experience to handle Lucius, not that it was her fault.
Isis sighed loudly, boredly, letting them know she was getting impatient. She was leaned up against the wall, arms crossed, eyes closed. The necromancer sent out a wave of that feeling, and was immediately alerted to three more vampires enteringthe premises from above. Interesting. But they were familiar, so she was slightly upset at that. Having dealt with Renee, now Isis was itching for a full-out fight, which didn't happen often. Hopefully, the Lycans would attack or something. She smiled at the thought. They would crumble under her power, as much as Isis could help it.
Her eyes opened, scanning the room. She walked over to the two, gave her master a bow, and asked, politely, quietly, "Would you like me to show Renee to her room, sir?" It would give her something to do for now, besides wait for some action.

Lucius could feel the anger emanating from her small form, and it did cause a slight stir in him, though the pity was not for her plight, but rather her lack of understanding, at least as he saw it. She resented not having control over the situation, and he did not blame her. But, he understood there to be no such thing as choice; just power, and the illusion of choice that those with power were able to create for others to play with. This particular understanding of choice, freedom, and power was what made him so comfortable with the slave trade. Those capable of being made slaves had little power anyways and were not, in his opinion, really making choices in their lives. There choices were being made for them; under slavery, this poor condition was just more glaringly apparent.
"I know you don't want it, love, believe me. But, as I said, I need you in my operations, and I cannot trust you yet. My trust can be earned, however," said Lucius as the collar was fitted onto her, equipped with a nice little tracking device and some prongs to zap her if she ever got dangerous. Otherwise, it seemed relatively more comfortable than some of the sharp, spiky ones other slaves wore at times. "Serve well, Ren, and one day you'll be free of the collar. And believe me here; I am a man of my word."
He stood up, stepping away from the small neko again, then glanced at Isis as the necromancer approached. It would probably be best for them to get acquainted. The slave quarters were on the floor beneath the Erif Penthouse at the top of the tower, and they would be living much of the time near each other. "Yes, very well. Explain to her the ground rules about what freedoms you have, where things are, and all that jazz. If anything comes up, you have my cell number," said Lucius, nodding to the human slave before turning his blue gaze back on Renee. "Again, I am sorry, but you will soon realize how much life can be better within my sphere of influence. Isis here will get you settled. We'll talk again later."
Nodding to the two of them, Lucius turned to make his way out of the building. There was always pressing business to attend to for a man like him; people to see and deals to strike. He knew Isis would deal well with Renee, and hopefully neither would have killed the other by the time he got back.

Her hands went up to the collar and she tugged on it lightly, not liking the feeling of it around her neck. Especially since it was right over the pretty chain she had. Of course, he said she would go without a collar if she was a good girl. She didn't see that happening anytime soon. He also said she could earn his trust. She understood why he wanted her, though. To use her. She did have an ability worth having. Besides, she was a theif as well. Which was made easier by her abilities. Isis offered to show Renee to her room and she began to wonder what type of place Lucius would put her in. Irritation was gnawing at her and she couldn't get over that disturbing feeling. But, Isis wanted to show Renee to her room. Ren wondered if that meant she would be alone with the human like woman. That would give her a chance to perhaps influence her a bit. She had almost succeeded before, had she not?
She watched him move back and listened closely to his words to Isis. 'Yup, alone with her,' she thought with a bit of happiness. Renee chased off all anger and brought about a sad, almost terrified look. Isis had pitied her before and Renee figured she could get a bit from her now. Perhaps it was a mistake to leave the little Neko alone with the slave. Seh would find out soon enough. He said that they would talk later but she highly doubted that. She wanted to get out of this place as soon as possible. She wanted to use Isis to do so. Besides that, these vampires here in the lobby seemed easy to influence. Far as she knew, she could use them to make her escape as well. They were stronger than her and lot more intimidating. She was short, tiny, childlike. She wasn't very strong, though not as weak as she looked. She would get out of her though, or so she hoped.
As he walked off Renee turned her sad amber eyes on Isis. "I don't wanna be here," she whined softly. Renee monitored the slaves emotions, trying to find the best time to strike. It helped to know just how bad a person was feeling for you and such. She would push away all of the womans will and finally find the pity she held for her before. After all, she was only human.

Renee was a good actress, and she would make lots of money for Lucius, from what Isis could see. It was unsettling, for the neko blurred the lines between reality and acting, the differences so subtle Isis couldn't pick them out. And then, the whole pity thing came back, almost as strong as before, but not quite. However, again, Isis couldn't tell if it was Renee's doing, her own, or perhaps a mix of both. The necromancer sighed, watching Lucius head off, his business always, usually, put first.
She gestured for the neko to follow, and she whined, sadness coating the words, pushing on the sympathy and pity button for Isis. Trying to subdue that influence Renee had already gotten over her, Isis simply shrugged, leading the way. "I can't do anything. Sorry. But it's worth it, you'll see in time. In truth, it's not really that bad here." She too, shared a sympathetic glance with Renee, pressing the buttons on the elevator door, stepping inside, beginning to explain. "That was the news station, really. . Master Lucius controls the media, making sure things stay out of the public's eyes." Isis leaned up against the wall, ankles crossed, comfortable. "The next few floors will be the ones we'll see most. But, moving on to the basic rules and whatnot . . we have free reign through the city, so long as the collar, in your case-" Here, a look found the collar, and Isis knew full well what it was equipped with. "-is on. It has a tracking device, you know. Only come when called, speak when spoken to, no rude remarks, etc. His rooms are the top level, and we don't go there unless he need us, basically, off limits. The slaves' quarters are the ones we'll be heading to now."
The elevator doors opened, an she stepped out, smiling. "Any questions, Renee?" Her hand went up to her tattoo, tracing it once more. The rooms they would be staying in weren't horrible cells like in the Underground; in fact, they were pretty nice, considering they held the slaves within. Isis had a feeling she could get along with Renee, if they both behaved. But Isis knew that if the neko attacked, she wouldn't hold back. Renee would learn not to take advantage of Isis in the beginning when it came to using brute force.

It was frustrating to see Isis shrug her off like that. It was almost sad to hear a slave say it wasn't that bad living with the master. Not that Renee cared. Isis was human. So, therefore, Renee didn't like her much. Though there was the little thing with the ghost like things. Those freaky bastards. Ren stared at Isis, all anger gone from her eyes. There was no pity, no sorrow. She didn't feel bad. Isis belonged in slavery. Renee, on the other hand, didn't. Renee forced tears from her eyes, hoping to get a little bit of sympathy from the woman. They stepped inside the elevator and she looked around. As the doors closed she began to feel a little bit trapped. She wasn't claustrophobic but she didn't like the idea of being trapped here. Especially with Isis. Renee leaned back against one of the walls and stared up at the ceiling with tear filled eyes. How on earth was she going to get out of this?
The little Neko slid down to sit at the bottom of the elevator. She noticed Isis lean against the wall. Renee turned her eyes on the woman now. She quietly listened to the slave speak, her ears perked forward. She knew she could be of use to Lucius but waht if she wouldn't do what he wanted her to? Was he going to beat her? Not that Renee couldn't take abuse. She wouldn't be too happy about having to be around Isis so much. Renee thought she was so much better than the human girl. Or semi-human. Renee knew better than to fight her. Well, actually, she didn't, but she wasn't going to go into a fight she knew she could use someone else to win. Besides, she wasn't all that angry with Isis. The slave was broken. She was doing as she was told, much like all the little minions Renee had controlled in her lifetime. She believed that Isis wasn't all there.
Isis told her that she could go into the city as long as she had the collar on. To Renee, this was a spark of hope. Maybe she could get the collar off somehow. It had a tracking device, but once the collar was off Renee would be free. Renee held back a laugh as Isis explained more of the rules to her. It seemed as though Renee wouldn't be getting the attention she was looking for now. They expected her to not say anything rude? To only speak when spoken to? That was funny. Renee wasn't going to follow these rules. Right now they were headed towards the slave quarters and Renee was curious as to what they would be like. Perhaps Renee was overly curious, too curious for her own good. That was what got her in trouble a lot of the time. Her curiousity. She tried to imagine what these dungeons would look like. Maybe dripping water and having devices for torture. Renee didn't know. "No," Renee stated clearly. She had no questions for the time being.

She didn't say anything about the tears, though the urge to comfort the little neko was there, it took a lot to resist that influence. So once the explaining was done, Isis made sure to keep her emotions in check, to make sure that she wouldn't anything stupid due to Renee, hopefully. "Alright then . . do you wanna explore, or should I show you around?" she offered her, at least trying to be nice. But then, Isis was somewhat responsible, so if Renee got in trouble . . ah, whatever. She could use some excitement, anyway.
"I could get you some food, if you want," she said, smiling lightly. For all Isis appeared to be, she wasn't completely broken, just obedient. There was a difference. Broken meant obeying mindlessly, to follow without consideration. Isis knew what she was doing, and why, though only rarely did she object, and so far, had found no reason to with the situation including Renee. Isis had been beaten before, nearly rape an killed down in the Underground, and simply came out with a new outlook on life. But, Renee didn't know that, and probably never would. Hell, only one person besides Isis herself had, and now they were dead.
The necromancer sighed, shoulders drooping visibly, more full of life than with Lucius. Here, she was basically on break, whereas before, the necromancer was on duty, like a cop would be. She frowned a bit, heading toward one of the doors, ignoring whatever answers Renee had given, leading to the bedrooms, this particular one being hers. "You really don't like me, do you?" she asked Renee dejectedly, throwing some of the excess clothes in the closet, leaving her barefooted, with a pair of baggy pants on, and a corset-like top. The closet was modestly filled, most of the clothes red. Her bed was queen-sized, black silk sheets to boot. But, this was only for the time being. The room wasn't all that big, though the curtained windows, when opened, made it seem larger.

Again, Renee had failed. She grew quiet, then, allowing Isis to lead her where she needed her to go. She asked a question, but Renee shook her head. She would explore later when she felt a little less stubborn. It didn't matter to her if she saw anything here or not. She didn't care about her new home, though there was that curiousity that she just had to satisfy. Renee couldn't resist the urge, just as she couldn't resist the urge to steal. Speaking of stealing, Lucius had told her she would get a gift. She wondered if that was still correct. She really like his watch and she wanted to see more. Perhaps he had other things laying around she could take. She could go anywhere in the city still, so she could get her own stolen items and bring them here. She wasn't quite sure where she would put them though, if it was a dungeon she was sleeping in. She wouldn't want her pretty weapons to get nasty in a slaves home.
When Isis mentioned food Renee realized that she truly was hungry. But she didn't want any food that came from anyone here. For all she knew they could have poinsoned it. Then again, why would they kill her after going through all the trouble to get her to be here? Well, not much trouble. The little Neko cut off all influence moving out from her though kept herself open to emotions. It was stupid to waste energy on Isis anymore. Ren would work on it a little later if she had to. Besides, by what Lucius was saying, Renee was going to be here for quite a while. She had all the time in the world to get Isis. Though Renee was quite violent when provoked she wouldn't have lasted long in the Underground. Of course, she would have if she had to but she really had no reason to go down there. She figured it would have been disgusting in there anyway. No place for a woman like her.
Renee noticed the change in Isis and wondered what made her so different when she was away from Luc. She followed the human into a room and looked around, quite surprised at what she found. This wasn't a dungeon, it was more like a bedroom. She wondered if she got her own bedroom and if it would look like this as well. The bed was huge and she knew if she curled up on it she would look even smaller than she really was. Renee almost missed the question Isis had spoken. It clicked in her mind a few seconds later and she turned to look at her. "Hm?" she said quietly. She looked thoughtful, but she finally came to find the reply she had for the human. "Well, I think you are pathetic to live the way you do. Doing whatever the master says for you to do," she began. Her voice was so different now without the influence in it. She was being serious and calm. Even her accent seemed a bit different.
"Far as I know, you are human. Humans are so weak, so easily controlled. That's why I hate them. Because they seem to have no mind of their own and they judge people like me too harshly. They need control. They need a leader. They can't do anything for themselves," she said, playing with her nails now. This was how she saw the humans she used day after day. They were weak. Renee was no longer looking at Isis, but rather at the floor beneath her feet. "But, you are something more, aren't you? You could be doing a hell of a lot better than being a slave," she stated clearly. There was no influence here, just her thoughts. Perhaps it wasn't that Renee didn't like Isis. "You deserve better," she added, wondering if she really meant that. Before, she had seen Isis as human. So she deserved to be a slave. But now, if Isis was more, she didn't quite deserve that.

Isis curled up on the bed, bringing her knees to her ample chest, resting her head on them. Renee's explanation did make sense, to a degree. It was easy to tell the neko was thinking about something else, and Isis realized she forgot to show her the vaults. But, it wasn't like they took regular trips down there, with all of Lucius's documents and treasures, so it didn't matter much whether or not Renee knew about it.
Isis laughed, though it was hollow and mocking. "Humans are weak in body and mind," she admitted, stretching out and falling back on the bed, staring at the ceiling. "But our souls are strong, for some. I obey because it's easier for me than to fight. In the past, I might have, like you did today, but now, it's only when I truly need to. So what if Master Lucius commands me? It's not like he has influence over my mind, though he could force me into doings things, he never has. Life is pretty good. I do what I can, and then I get to do as I wish, for a bit, until I am needed again." She sat up, making room, a gesture for her to sit on the bed, if Renee wished to. Isis wouldn't leave her standing there. "But that's like saying all nekos are vain, all werewolves and Lycans had no self control, and that vampires care only for blood, and nothing more." A cheeky grin was flashed at Renee, who seemed be not be using influence, just being herself, really. "Have you forgotten what happens when humans get together? They see themselves as the first race, the ideal race. Anything different than them is classified as bad, so yes, we're going to be cruel. I can't make up for what they've done in the past. I don't associate with humans. I'm not one of them." The last part was whispered quietly, though it wasn't really true. Isis didn't say 'us' when talking about humans, and she didn't see herself as one of them now. It was an odd way of looking at it, but still, it was her way.
The necromancer sighed, looking at Renee. "And nobody deserves it, but it could be a whole hell of a lot worse. Trust me, I've been to hell and back." That was the truth. She had gotten her powers when she died, five minutes spent in the pits of the truest Hell. She wasn't sure if Renee would pick up on that, but still, she was saying it, if the neko cared. It wasn't that bad, being here with Renee. The necromancer grinned, and waited for her opinion.

She watched Isis curl up on the bed and she smiled a bit. Had Isis shown Renee the vaults the little Neko would have been extremely excited. Renee would find that place quite enjoyable with all the treasure he had in that area. They would have been lucky to ever see the little slave again. She loved pretty things that caught her eyes. Surely he had all kinds of things down there in the vaults. She would find out soon enough if she decided to go wandering. She knew this building was huge. She wanted to know what all was in it. Surely she wasn't off limits to anything but his floor. She would find that out soon as well. She wouldn't doubt that she would end up on his floor too. She might get in trouble for it, but she couldn't help but be curious about what's up there. Of course, apparently she would be up there anyway if he needed her.
Isis fell back on the bed and Renee listened to her. It was a big change from before, when she was with Lucius. Isis seemed to be talking quite a bit now. She had her own views, her own opinion. Renee hadn't expected her to speak as much. She wasn't used to having big conversations with people. Sure, her and her minions talked but usually the humans agreed. Mostly because Renee wanted them to. She had a strange way of seeing things, it seemed. Renee didn't like that. Being used, then getting to relax until they need you again. Perhaps it was for Isis, but it wasn't for Renee. She saw Isis invite her onto the bed. Renee hesitated, almsot too stubborn to accept. But she moved over towards the bed anyway, crawling up into it and sitting on the edge, kicking her feet. The Neko seemed more like a child than a young adult, though the way she spoke was serious and mature.
"Perhaps that's true," Renee said. Maybe all Neko's were vain. One thing she did know though, was that all Lycans and werewolves had no self-control. She didn't want to test that, though, she was just assuming. Well, she knew she was right, but she didn't want to have to prove it. Messing with Lycans and Werewolves was something she refused to do. She would almost rather be a slave to Lucius. Almost. Those dogs weren't worth her time and she thought they would much rather eat her than talk to her. She tried to keep away from them as often as possible. She had only influenced one of those types and she didn't want to mess with them again. It wasn't that it was hard, but she really just hated dogs. They weren't worth her time. She caught Isis saying she wasn't one of the humans. Renee smiled at this. So, she was right. Isis wasn't exactly like them. Renee wondered how many people she could actually influence at one time. Probably not many, but she hadn't tried more than one.
Renee didn't take the comment about going to hell and back seriously. After all, who could come back from such a place. There was a question playing on her mind, though. "What are you then?" she questioned, wanting an answer from this strange, not so human girl.

Renee's manner gave away the part that she didn't truly believe her. Isis could read people well, just something she had picked up through her life, though it held no special powers or properties. "Well, when you've died and come back, you're no longer human," she said trthfully, eyes gleaming, waiting for some, if any, questions that were to come. Renee hadn't met a necromancer such as Isis was, so it was an interesting first impression, that was definite.
"People who control the dead aren't considered human, as I see it," Isis commented, drawing her legs close to her chest again, her eyes peeking up from the strands of hair that hung in her eyes. It was fun to see people's reactions, but if you wormed your way into the heart of Isis, she wouldn't let go, a valuable aset to someone who wanted to use her, like Renee. But, if she didn't find that out, then all the better for Isis. "You must be hungry. let's go get you something to eat." The caring natture came out again, no matter who the person was.
(( Sorry its really short, dead on muse and things to do >> ))

"I suppose that means you have died?" Renee said, looking up at the ceiling now. She wondered what it was like to die and be brought back. Perhaps it was possible, though Renee didn't see how. "I've never met anyone like you," she admitted. Yes, this was the first time she had seen a necromancer and she didn't quite like what she saw. She didn't fully understand and perhaps that was the reason. But what better way to get information then to ask? "So, what are you then?" she said, expecting at least an answer to that. "What can you do?" Another question, though this one she wasn't sure Isis would answer. She didn't know what would keep the woman from answering, but she also knew that she didn't like to tell her own abilities. After all, once someone knew what she was going to do it would be easier for them to block her. She didn't want that, now did she?
Isis had said she controlled the dead, but Renee wanted to know if there was more to that. Did she have to be in a certain place? Could she control all dead? Animals, humans, vampires? WAs everything that had died under her control? Such an interesting thing to think about. Renee wouldn't have liked to be able to do it, but still. She still found it interesting. Isis offered to get her food and Renee nodded. "Yea, that's fine," she said softly, her mind still on the dead. She still wasn't sure she wanted to eat anything these people gave her but she couldn't go without food. Or sleep. Renee found herself feeling very sleepy all of the sudden.
