The Pier. The same place little miss Anari had met Hiro. The same place she would be meeting someone new. What did this shapeshifter want? Protection. Simple as that. Sure, with a crocodile and harpy eagle form she could easily protect herself, right? But that wasn't her way. She needed others to protect her, and why not? If people were so willing to give her the protections he needed, why not take them up on that offer? She had a calm nature and was pretty level-headed. She was patient and willing to wait as long as she needed for an opponent to calm down. She would talk her way out fights and if she couldn't, she would get aggressive. She didn't like fighting but she wouldn't let someone push her around. Traitors got no respect from her, though she didn't treat them unkindly. She simply refused to acknowledge their existence. This meeting would be a change for her and probably hard for her to accept, but it was for the best.
So, Anari sat on the Pier as she usually did, enjoying the smell of the water below her and the feeling of the sun on her skin. She still couldn't change forms and go swimming here, it was too cold for her liking. That was too bad. It didn't matter, though, she could always go for a swim at home. The pool was heated so it wasn't a problem. She did love her home. It was perfect for her. The chinchilla side of her wasn't very demanding, though that was part of where her vanity came from. The other part was from the Harpy eagle, which was indeed a beautiful creature. The crocodile, though pretty in her own little way, wasn't so much. Anari loved every creature she could change herself into, despite how different they were. She didn't mind having one that was a little off. At least the reptile was powerful, if anything. Anari wasn't worried about losing a fight if she did end up in one.
Her finger played with her hair that was up in a pony tail. She had a knife on her for protection though she didn't think she would ever need to use it. She never had and she had no intention to start using it now. Her legs moved back and forth and she hummed softly. She was listening closely to everything around her, not wanting to be caught off guard. Her nose could pick up scents from quite a ways away. Her eyes could see far over the waters. She could see water bugs dancing over the water. How content she was here. It was beautiful, beyong words. The sun was slowly going down to let the moon take over. The darkness would move over her soon and cover her like a blanket. It was silent out here, not so many sounds coming forward. Maybe a bug or two. Was that a person? She tried to smell. Yes. Someone was coming. Paranoia gripped at her but she tried to force it away. This was no time to start freaking out.

The scent of a shifter hit her. So she wasn't going to be the only one here to join. Good. Felix was more of a company person. She didn't like to be alone for too long, and though Lucian was hers, it still was good to look for opportunities. And that was just what the werewolf was doing. Though she would have loved to rip Kayen and Guille to shreds, Felix wasn't going to fight for the Lycans. Many people saw them as brutal and animalistic, but Felix wasn't like that, most of the time, except if she was provoked, but that would be something entirely different. And so, she found herself looking for protection, a safe haven, to have some place to go, where her and Lucian would be kept out of the war. It would completely be worthless had the two of them been pulled into it. The gait she struck up was confident, though wary all the same. Hell, for all Felix knew, this could be a random person who just happened to be there. But, Felix wouldn't back down. She wasn't the cautious type, and her footsteps were silent, though the scent of werewolf gave it away to whoever was there.
Rounding the corner, The wind blew her fiery red hair, and she had to push it out of her green eyes, always having something to laugh about. It was harder not to look at life with humor, as she was learning from the half-breed in her house. Felix had a nice grin on her face, relaxed and easy. The moon peered up from behind the glory pf the setting sun, only a three-quarter. The urge to shift would soon take over at the full moon, but Felix could wait for that to be free under her pelt of wolf fur. She was glorius like that, a creature that was deadly as well. Her emerald eyes came upon the woman sitting there. It seemed she was nervous. Ah, she shouldn't be. There was no harm to be done to her. The werewolf had too many means of protection for her own good, but that was something she had fallen into a habit of. Her footsteps were still quiet on the pier, a place she had often visited as a child with her father.
Sitting down next to the girl, silent as ever, Felix looked over to her, friendly, for the most part. "And who're yah waiting for?" the female werewolf asked. After all, if she was to wait, why not make some friends along the way, correct? This woman seemed nice enough, and she could get a small glimpse o her thoughts. The shifter was waiting for someone, and still, her thoughts weren't answered, though Felix let her question stand. Hopefully, the woman shifter would be fine with the werewolf, and maybe, they would meet up quite often in the future, if her hunch was correct.

Tina growled loudly, she was a frustrated woman. But she needed to find those innocent people who didn't want to get caught in the middle of this terrible war that was going to be started by that idiot Gunnar and his group of rebels. Tina sighed and walked rolling her shoulders, damn they still hurt from the last beating she had gotten at Cyanide, and her green eyes seemed to betray a sense of anger and hate towards that slave ring. She actually was on a recess from the last case she had been taking care of at the city court. Step by step she walked looking ahead. Tina had stopped in at her brothers new restaurant and ordered a quick meal to go and she took out the sandwich and bit a small chunk out of it. The woman sighed as she walked, her short blonde and brown hair blowing softly in the breeze as she made her way to her favorite place to let go of all of her trouble and be herself for a while. Yes she seemed like a rough and tumble kind of girl, and that was true. But she was a fun loving playful almost childlike person when caught in an extremely good mood. She was in a good mood, she had practically won her case and that was an awesome thing for her to do.
She didn't let any crime go unpunished.
The Alphess Lycan came to the pier and saw two other women sitting there. With absolutely no fear of just who they were and what they were she sat down beside them and grinned, "What's up you two? My Name is Tina Ferrari, and you guys are?" She questioned in such a friendly manner that even Enrique, her twin brother with the glow stick mouth as she called him, would be intrigued. Ah yes, 'Rique her twin brother who was the new restaurant owner here in the city and seemed to have women melting because of his very appearance. Not that Enrique seemed to mind at all. Tine looked out to the water and grinned, as she saw birds on the hunt for fish. The Alpha Lycaness rolled her shoulders, it seemed to lessen the pain that came from that area as she continued to watch the birds. Jeez she wished she was out at the cliffs where she could run in a much more comfortable fur than this. She unlike most Lycans seemed to prefer her wolf form. Not many could recognize her in that form, but in this form everyone knew her as the Alpha female of the only neutral group of beings.
The moon seemed to be entering the world of the Lycaness when she had arrived. Yes this hour of the day was what she considered her lunchtime. Seeing as that case had dragged on for hours. The female Lycan was dressed in extremely formal attire, a black skirt and dress shirt with a small dress coat over that was what she was wearing. Tina was such a tomboy even now, she didnt care she was sitting on a pier that was covered in dirt in some of her most formal attire. Dirt always washed out right. "Anyway, How are you guys? You're both a bit quiet" she said looking at them both. Her bright green eyes held a warm friendly light that unlike most lycans seemed to never hold. Tina was a unique one, being an orphan she never really learned to hate vampires or hate any race to be exact. Sure there were raced that annoyed her with their beliefs but she still tolerated them. That is why her group would probably be the most powerful in the city. Her group consisted of all races, and attacks against each other in the group because of race were never allowed. Tina looked at them both and grinned widely, before looking back to the ocean.

Someone was joining her, it seemed. Anari wasn't sure who it was or why they were here. Perhaps for the same reason she was. To meet Tina. Or, they could be here to kill her. Or to harm her in some other way. The only way to keep from getting hurt was to keep to herself. She couldn't tell anything she knew. It was a woman who was coming near. Anari smiled to herself. She was looking back to see who it was. Bad idea, actually, because that would only make the woman think she was interested in talking, which Anari wasn't. Well, not with her anyway. This woman was pretty, though, Anari had to admit. Someone she would enjoy spoiling if given the chance. But those thoughts were for another time. How many cute people would hse come across before she realized everyone had their own little beauty. Anari was proud of hers and she knew that Daimon loved it as well.
The woman sat down beside Anari and the young girl smiled as a welcome. It seemed she was going to have to talk anyone. No problem, she could make an aquaintance, yea? "A woman," she answered simply. Did this woman need to know who Anari was waiting for? But the fact that she had asked that question made Anari think that maybe she was waiting for Tina as well. That made her feel a bit more comfortable around Felix. There was someone else coming, though, so Anari didn't really have time to ask questions. Not that she would have anyway. Once again her eyes turned to see who was coming to them. Now, with two people around her, Anari could feel even more paranoia coming up. But she was here to look for protection which meant she had to trust these people, it only a little. At least some. She couldn't live in fear of people her whole life.
"Pleasure. I am Anari," she said softly, answering Tina's question. She looked at the woman beside her, curious as to what her name was going to be. "I'm content, and yourself?" she said, eyes falling back on Tina. These two seemed to be kind. They weren't shy, that was for sure. of course, had they known Anari they would know she wasn't that shy either. She could be quite outgoing around the right people. Her friends, mostly. These women were hopefully going to become her friends. If not, she would seek such things elsewhere. She didn't want to be left out in the open for people to attack. Not without safety. She couldn't survive on her own and that's why she was interested in joining this little..pack.

Ah. Another glance into the woman's mind showed distrust. At least, that was how the werewolf saw it. She shrugged, and looked into the water below the two, the waves rolling at a steady pace. "Same here," the woman said, bringing her eyes back to Anari. She would admit that the shifter was pretty. Some showed it in looks more than others, but then again, there was an ugly side as well, which Felix knew too much of. The waves soothed her, and the sound on them crashing upon the ever-changing shores made her smile slightly. But the sound of more footsteps came, and the sea breeze blew the scent of a female Lycan toward her. Ah yes, this was who she had been waiting for. Her smile grew wider, and head turned up to see the woman, whose presence seemed to command power apparel revealing her career. But, all in all, Felix would have to say that Tina was likable, from first impressions.
"Felix Delos," she introduced herself, simple, sweet, and to the point. After all, why not start with honesty here? If she were to join a pack, which was the whole reason for being here, then why pretend? Felix was a pretty much straightforward person, and hated liars. Safety was needed, and this was a good way to start. Deep inside, the wolf yearned for a pack, some beings to call family, a safe place for her soul to rest. Wolves were pack animals, and Felix had lived too long without companionship. Felix had just began to heal thanks to Lucian, but that was a slow road as well.
"Pretty decent," the werewolf replied, and that was overall true. "Sorry for the silence. Just thinking." Felix shrugged, drawing her legs up in an Indian-style position. This was how she sat on her roof, whenever she needed to get some point across to herself, or whatever. It helped, and calmed the werewolf down, a but. She let Anari's question stand to Tina, and she traced little patterns in the wood of the pier with her nails, permanently leaving them engraved upon it.
