The dogs, once pets and servants of the humans, were unsure of what to do when the humans were suddenly swept away by a horrible disease. Some embraced their new found freedom and others longed for the humans to come back.
But the terrifying reality soon struck them. The humans were not coming back.
The dogs took over the towns of the island, going where they wanted, doing what they pleased, and feeding off the rats and small animals they could find.
But soon, they developed a taste for the wild, for the wilderness outside the towns and cities and they wanted their territory to expand throughout the entire island. They didn't stop to think that maybe the wilderness of the island was already claimed, they just rushed in and made their presence and intentions known. This did not go well with the creatures who had already claimed this territory, the ones who had lived on the island long before the humans came with their pets. The wolves.
At first the wolves were happy to let the 'lowly pets' claim the settlements of the humans, but when they started trespassing on wolven territory, they decided that the dogs had gone too far, and it was time to put them in their place. The wolves launched a series of attacks on the dogs, making their message clear. Get off our territory.
But the dogs, proud creatures that they are, did not back down as easily as the wolves had thought they would. They retaliated, picking off those wolves who wandered too far from the group. And soon, a war started between the two species.
The dogs and wolves are locked in a ferocious battle where there can be only one victor. But some believe that they can set aside their differences and make peace with one another. They started a pack of their own, where both wolves and dogs are welcome.
But will their efforts be enough to end the battle? Or will the wolves and dogs destroy the very land they wish to claim? Or will they all die in the process?
It all boils down to this. Which side do you choose?
