Senna sighed, thrusting her arm back and forth, the sound of scrubbing reaching her ears. White foam from the soap and water was gathering around her hands as she scrubbed the now blackened pots that had been sitting in the soggy sink for the past four days. She crinkled her nose as the smell of moldy noodles hit her like a nasty slap in the face.
The younge lycan had been passed this job as punishment for returning home late the night she'd been out with Ray. This along with cleaning the stables, the rooms and bathrooms, and weeding. To add on top she'd received 10 whips from the slave ordered to give the punishments. She sighed, finishing up the pot she'd been working over for the past 10 minutes. Reaching for another, she let another drawn out sigh escape her lungs.
Soon, she found herself day dreaming. She felt once again the warm lips her hers, the pass of his hand as it patted her hair. Shaking her head, she returned to the task at hand. Once done, she flicked her soapy hands into the sink, then ran cool water over them, rinsing off the suds. Growling quietly to herself, she reached down, grabbing a bucket of warm soapy water with a sponge in it. Clomping her way out of the kitchen with the heavy bucket, she made her way to the front hall, preparing to scrub the floors down like she was supposed to after dishes. Her back stung as she knelt down, and pulled out the soapy sponge, beginning to scrub the floors.
Circle, circle, circle, scrub. Circle, circle, circle, scrub. The repetativness of it almost lolled her to sleep. Ding dong. The loud bells signalling a person at the door near her sounded. Getting up with a groan of pain, the lycan tried to sort out her messy hair as she hurriedly made her way to the large doors, making herself as presentable as possible. Opening the doors, she froze to find Ray standing on the other side.

Raythril sighed while he walked down the street, the one with the home with the address that was etched on the paper he had in his pocket. The whole thing was a painful disaster, mostly getting there, since he didn't understand what was written down on the documents. He however, ran into many helpful people that were able to translate what the lines and shapes meant that were on the papers. He knew what the gist of it was, he just needed a double check or four before he was completely sure about it. He was irritated about how long it took for his actual promise to come into play, and paitence was something that he wasn't full of.
It was compromise after compromise, and in the end it did cost him a bit out of his own pocket. He stopped at the beginning of the driveway of the extravagant home, looking at the area with minor discomfort. Slaves were working all over the lawn, that's when he knew that the countless hours that he spent was well worth it. There was no way that Ray was as bad as the guy that could own so many slaves and put them to hard labour like that. Even if it was only one, he got his good friend, one crushed dream, out of slavery, even though she wasn't really out, it was better then nothing.
He cautiously walked up the front steps and rung the bell, and waited. Ray was still nervous about being in town with all those people working all day, without a single pay check, it was something that he would be unable to do. He turned his head back to the door when it opened, to be greeted by Senna herself. 'Exactly who I was looking for,' He thought to himself, wondering if she was expecting him if she was the one to open the door. Glancing past her he saw the abandoned bucket in the middle of the hall floor, and that immediately canceled out that option. 'Apparently her last master doesn't communicate well,'.
"Since Raythril Way is the best person you know..." He said, brushing his hair back out of the corner of his eye, which basically just cut him off to what he was saying. "You can pack up your bags." Ray looked her over rather quickly, repressing the urge to roll his eyes or make some sort of unpleasant gesture. Under the terms that she looked terrible, she was still cute don't get him wrong, but she looked tired, in pain, and over-worked. He couldn't see that being attractive on anyone, even the 'beutiful' people that strutted around town.
He stepped forward, giving her an embrace when she didn't budge. The unmistakable scent of soap water and cleaners was masking her earlier smell, it was fine now, there was no way he would use stuff like that in a forest. "I kept my promise." He muttered as an extra precaution, to be sure that she knew that he wasn't just kidnapping her. He really wanted to just get out of that area as quickly as possible, but she was bound to have owned things that she would want to bring with her. He let go, cutting the hug to an end, to resume a more professional appearance at the front of that building. "Even if it did take longer then I expected." Ray added, chuckling quietly as he waited for her to respond in any way. It was becoming to the point of worry that she hadn't said anything at that moment of time.

Senna stood there, dumbfounded as she watched the demon in front of her, not fully comprehending what he was saying. Pack her bags? She turned slightly, looking at the bucket and sponge on the floor, she wasn't done though. What could he possibly me-
Her thought was cut off when she felt his hug, and she winced. Her back was still sore, still cut and scabby. "I kept my promise." He told her. That was when everything clicked in. At first all she could feel was a numb disbelief, and then the eruption of joy. "Really!?" She laughed, as he made the last comment, jumping against him after he'd pulled away. The hug/glomp, however, was short lived, when she let go hurriedly, rushing up the stairs to the servant's quarters. Grabbing her clothes, mostly old and somewhat tattered, she looked onto her small bed, smiling at the stuffed bunny sitting on it. Grabbing the bunny, she kissed it, then tucked it under her arm. Grabbing an old duffel bag, she stuffed her clothes into it, and flew out the door, duffel bag in tow. Running down the stairs, she came up short just in front of the waiting demon, a large grin plastered on her face, and her hair wind-blown.
"So, we goin now?" She asked, grin still in tact.

Raythril stood at the entrance of the building, slightly surprised that it didn't take her that long to fly down the staircase. Of course, he'd wanted to leave as soon as he could, that place already gave him the creeps. It was mostly all the depressed people walking around, doing simple house chores that were pretty much humiliating, then not getting a single penny to their names. He glanced around, thinking that, thankfully, her last master wasn't going to change his mind and snatch everything away. Wasn't like he could anyway, not if they just left, right then.
"Yes we are," He answered, walking out of the way of the door jam so she could walk out in front of him. Ray shut the door when she was outside, and grabbed a quick hold of her wrist, slightly dragging her off the property. He wasn't really that keen on staying there for people to give him odd looks as he stalked the front door awkwardly. His comfort was instantly returned the second that they were at the end of the lane way.
He released her arm, letting his own fall to his sides. Raythril really didn't think anything through when it came to 'buying' Senna, since he really had no idea what he was planning to do other then get her 'out' of slavery. Even if he only did half that, he would likely live longer then she even would, he had passed her age by far. He was, however, relieved that she was so happy at that point, odd that she didn't think that it was a bad thing, but relieving none the less. "So... what's new?" He asked awkwardly, trying to start up a conversation. Even he would admit that it was a poor attempt, and it was kind of obvious what was new, but he tried.
