The next words of the entrancing vampiress caused Lucius to arch an eyebrow, a sly grin prancing across his handsome features. "Oh? Extended services, hm? I'm always one to try get people to give their maximum potential, in all aspects of life," replied the ancient Roman vampire coyly, his blue gaze briefly scanning over her once more. She certainly was a flirtatious little killer. It would only be all-the-better as the woman in charge of his media wing; she would be able to charm people over easily, it seemed, as she was charming enough for him, anyways.
"Oh, I make a habit of being very good at what I do," said Lucius, smirking somewhat. It was not an entirely arrogant or smug smirk and statement, but said rather as one who exuded both confidence and pride in himself and what he did, with the slight bit of arrogance that tended to accompany vampires, particularly ones of his much-advanced age. Very few vampires were cunning enough to live as long as he did out in the open, and he understood that and embraced it as fact, leading to his slight bit of arrogance. Though, he was level-headed enough to chuckle as Katia nudged him, and offered her another coy grin in response. "I have a feeling I'll find it necessary to extend said generosity frequently," he replied, chuckling lightly.
As she snaked her arms around one that he offered her, Lucius walked with her from the office and out into the extravagant lobby once more. "For younger vampires, they do not wish to associate themselves with their humanity, for the most part. Their immortality and lust blinds them to their curse. For many elder vampires, it is often either pain or hatred of humanity--spawned from jealousy--that prohibits them from enjoying such things," ruminated the business magnate as he strolled out of the tower and into the main plaza between the four towers with her upon his arm. He arched an inquisitive eyebrow when she mentioned a desire for some young maiden too, but decided not to press that any further. Yet.
"A stroll would be grand," said Lucius as he walked through the plaza with her towards the city's main park down the block, the sun having vanished and the four ZaneCorp Towers glistening with their light in the city skyline.
