Amanrath has set itself in the time of Gothic nightmares and whispers of the darkness that lives in every beating heart that has come through the veil. But what of the hearts that do not beat any longer, but still continue to hold a living body? Do they fear the night like a child crying from her dreams in her room because of the monster that lives there? Or do they walk as gods; proud, tall, serious, and brooding? Ask yourself this one simple question: Could you handle the knowledge that the dead walk among you? If you can, then you can face Amanrath, the city of vampires, werewolves, and witches alike. Nightmarish creatures are the rulers of this world under one governing Leader. His name is Konstantin, the ultimate ruler of Amanrath. At his side is an army of undead that come to his call as a hungry man comes to food. The night world of Amanrath does as he bids, but fears the First Vampire. At his other side is his one and only, Genevieve Deveraux. The people do not fear the last Deveraux Princess, they adore her and she them. For her people, the last Derveraux Princess married Prince Konstantin to join their Clans together to stop the Last Great Battle. What Konstantin does not know is that Genevieve is not just a little princess. Genevieve is a more than able ruler and a savvy fighter; and she's fighting for the throne. Konstantin may have a heavy hand on Amanrath, but Genevieve plans on stopping the vampire's rule and saving humans from being used as slaves. Yes, the humans are either slaves or vagabonds that hide in secret meeting places and underground cities. Genevieve knows of these things and will put and end to the suffering. The only thing she has to worry about is her brother Jean-Claude. Though he too hates Konstantin, he hates his little sister more. If she can keep Jean-Claude from learning of her plans and Konstantin at the same time, the people of Amanrath will be freed. Time is of the essence...
