It's the year 2842 A.D. and humanity has created and organized the Federation of United Species, an interstellar organization designed to keep the peace between the numerous species from various planets. The F.U.S. also organized the Marines, a universe-wide military, to keep war at bay.
The city of Aequitas, a haven for mercenaries and criminals, built deep beneath the ground of the ice planet Eden-3. It was once a beautiful city for an alien race, but they were all but extinguished, their clones made into slaves. The planet itself has only been frozen for around a hundred years, and no one can understand why. A few brave souls venture out now and again to find clues to the now-dead civilization of the Ithlinne, but so far they have had little luck. In the markets of Aequitas, anything can be bought and sold, even lives. The main tourist attraction in the city is a massive Colosseum, devoted to blood sports of all kinds. Beneath the Colosseum are the tunnels that lead down to the ancient city, the dead city, where many a person has gone missing.

There's a rebellion in the midst...
Everyone, everywhere, perk your ears. Rebel groups are trying to take out the Federation of United Species. That's right, take out the Marines! It'll be utter Anarchy! The mercs will rule the galaxy, could you imagine? All of us, the humans, the Ithlinne clones, the pissed-off Soturi, the pretty-boy (and girl) Ionadai... all able to govern ourselves entirely once more! What a beauty that'd be!

Libertas is an intermediate-advanced roleplay set in the distant future. The FUS monitors the galaxy, much to the dismay of all of the rogues and mercenaries that fly the skies. On the planet of Eden-3, mercs mingle with Marines, the merchants always have something juicy for sale, and when the day's done, everyone can share a beer and watch battles to the bloody death. Choose from one of the previously created races or create your own!
