The little neko was quite bored of sitting around. Her late night walks were becoming repetitive and she hadn't really met anyone new lately. So, today she was going to hang out at ZaneCorp. She was in the lobby, the very first place she had seen when she first came here. It was in this place that she became a slave. Now, she was free to come and go as she pleased but she was still a slave to Lucius. Not that she was really angered by it anymore. He was offering her protection. If she could only get rid of this collar she would be even better. She decided it would be best to stay here anyway, and why not? She had everything she needed here. Little Renee was even getting used to Katia being around. She no longer expressed her anger around Lucius, mostly because there would be other people around them when she was with him, but that wasn't the point.
Katia, on the other hand, she wished she could tear apart. Yes, she was getting used to the woman but that didn't mean she didn't hate her still. She had every right to, as well. Katia was becoming more like a mother to her than anything, though the petting and such wasn't something Renee would expect a parent to do to their child. Renee could control her if she had to, though they hadn't had any close encounters in a while. After all, Renee just had to be a good girl to keep Katia from pouncing on her. Of course, keeping her violence in check was quite simple for her. She wouldn't ever be that cute little kitten around Katia, though. That women didn't deserve for Renee to be nice. Still, she could be nice to everyone else and that's how she was when she wandered around. As long as no one woke her up while she was sleeping because, just like a little girl, she could be quite grumpy when someone woke her up.
Renee's fingers moved over her collar in a bit of frustration as she stood in the middle of the lobby. She looked at the people around her and wondered what they were thinking. She had been through the lobby several times to exit the building so a lot of the people here were familiar. She didn't know the names of them of course, but she had seen them before. They probably expected her to leave but that wasn't the plan for today. They had to babysit her, it seemed. Her amber eyes were bright and held only excitement in them as she looked around, meeting the eyes of some of the people before they went back to work. Such a sad place this was. Everyone always seemed busy and never really in a playful mood. Renee just wanted a bit of attention and someone to play with. Was that too much to ask? Surely not.
So, with a smile on her face she began to sway a bit. "Down by the bay...Where the watermelons grow...back to my home...I dare not go," she sang out softly, her voice carrying around the room to the people. She looked at them for a moment as she paused in the middle of the song. "For if I do...my mother will say...Have you ever seen a whale with a polka-dotted tail, down by the bay!" she giggled softly, twirling around and beginning to dance. She continued this, singing her song softly in that child-like voice of hers and changing up one part to add in more silly lines that seemed to make no sense whatsoever. She was careful to not run into any people in the lobby. Perhaps they were moving away from her flailing arms as she twirled around like a little girl in a field of flowers. Such a child she was, though people couldn't help but smile at her.
She only stopped when she began to get dizzy, her tiny body moving forward quickly. She tried to walk straight only to began moving off the side, having troubles keeping herself upright. She giggled a bit as she did this, quite amused by the sensation. It felt like the floor was rising up to...oh. She fell, flat on her face. She lay there for a moment, her body shaking a bit as she giggled. "Oops," she said out loud as she began to stand up once more, the effects of the spinning wearing off. She moved towards the door, still stumbling a bit, and pressed her face up against the glass. She peered out for a moment, tail moving behind her contently and her ears forward to stare outside. She turned quickly to look at the people again before going to find a desk to plop her butt on and kick her feet, staring around to see if there was anyone interesting to play with.
