Arilyn was a rare vampire being graced with two special abilities, however telekinesis has been very rare. She can move and crush a human or object with a twist of her wrist. However after she uses her powers she tends to feel drained like her energy is gone. She also tends to be more hungry and filled with blood lust after she uses the power. She doesn’t use it often due to the lust and energy drain it causes her.
&& Astral Projection – A very rare ability but not too un believable. At a young age Arilyn pictured herself being able to be with her mother and all of a sudden she would feel herself moving and in seconds she would be with her mother or anyone else she was thinking of, they could hear her and see her but they could not touch her. She does not use this ability often because it also drains the energy from her, however she has gotten better at it over the years.
&& Transformation – Many vampires are able to transform into many different creatures but Arilyn is able to transform into a gaseous matter and that is mist. She is able to hide herself by transforming into a mist substance, this causes her to be dizzy and unbalanced when she reappears out of the mist.
&& Mild Telepathy – When she really focuses on something or someone she can hear their thoughts and transfer her own to them. But most of the time it takes her full concentration to do so.

&& Strength – Like most vampires her strength is high. She can lift many things but cannot lift as much as a male vampire.
&& Agility – Being small and a vampire gives her this one amazing ability, her agility is amazing. She can dodge the biggest vampire, and the most volatile vampires with them being able to even put a finger on her.

Appearance:
&& eyes: Arilyn had quite remarkable bright eyes, though she did not find them to be ‘that’ remarkable. She’s never had extremely high self-esteem but she is not spending her days beating herself about her appearance. She does not believe that looks are most important in life. She believes that personality is and she only wishes that the rest of world could believe that too. Anyway, Arilyn’s eyes are a bright, icey, blue that happened to clash magnificently with her hair. However, Nyx hadn’t noticed this truth and refused to agree with her friends on the matter of her ‘lovely appearance.’
&& hair: Arilyn was ‘blessed’ with hair the color of cloudy blonde, or to put it simply, a pale, elegant, blonde. If someone were to describe Arilyn’s hair color, they would say that it was like clouds or platinum.
Arilyn's, platinum-esque colored hair falls past her shoulder blades in a very neat meanner. Basically, Arilyn’s hair falls straight and with volume and still, Arilyn does not like her hair at all. No matter how much her friends object, she still will not agree with them that her hair is quite lovely. Actually, she describes it as, “quite horrid.” Arilyn usually wears her long hair down, except for some occasions. When she goes to parties that require nicer clothing that a worn-out sweater and jeans, she wears her hair in a twist. The twist also usually comes out as messy and loose. Arilyn also wears her hair up in a loose ponytail when she attends class. She believes that loosing a chunk of her hair would not be the most pleasant experience.
&& distinguishing features: Arilyn has never been one to pick out her favorite feature that belongs to herself. Her self-esteem has never been very high and it someone were to ask Arilyn what she thought her best feature was, she would probably not be very happy. She hates those kind of slightly superficial questions. However, if you caught her in an exceptionally good mood, she would say that her stability and proportionality would be her best features. If that someone asked Arilyn’s friends, they would say, “Arilyn’s best feature, well, she has a lot. But, yeah, most definitely her white hair. If Arilyn were to ever hear her friends, she’s deny it to the person and serve her friends with a slightly playful death glare.

Arilyn has prided herself on the fact that she is not large and that she is not as thin as a toothpick. She finds that the new ‘need’ to be thin in the media and social situations is ridiculous. Arilyn does not like superficiality and she wishes that people would deepen their souls instead of letting them remain shallow. Anyway, Arilyn also is quite pleased with her height. She’s not too short that she can’t reach anything on the shelves and she is also happy about the fact that she is not so tall that she stands out like a sore thumb. Arilyn has never had perfect self-esteem but she is actually somewhat pleased with her body.
Though Arilyn is slender, she's not athletic in the least. She was born with her mother's small, bony frame and it has stuck with her all her life. To accompany her long fingers, Arilyn loves to wear rings. She loves to wear all kinds of jewelery for that matter. She only wears silver jewelery, however, because she is allergic to a component in the gold jewelery. It gives her a rash wherever it so touches. As for earrings, she only wears studs. Hoops and danglies aren't her style.
Personality:
Arilyn is a very laid back person. She enjoys life and all that it has to offer. Whenever she has free time she loves to be at home working on her own projects or if the weather is promising she will take hikes in the woods, work in her garden, and just enjoy being outdoors. She's fun loving but can be a bit of a people pleaser at times. She doesn't let people walk all over her, but she does like to please and make people happy.
For the most part, Arilyn is a woman that is passionate in all that she does. She is assertive and direct in what she wants and needs. Such traits may sound condescending, considering the fact that she does work hard to please people.. However no one can dispute her strong willed nature. A prime example to look towards, is the fact that she never gave up on her sister. Once she was stable and secure in her life, Arilyn had begun research on locating Ilyn. Though most in her family considered it to be a waste of time and money, Arilyn didn't give up. She was persistent and set in her ways.
Though her family wasn't exactly supportive, her friends were. In fact, Arilyn's best friend was always more then willing to sit down, enjoy some tea and reminisce of times when the three of them were little and playing together. Beyond those moments, her friend would lend a hand and help Arilyn by making phone calls to help follow through with any possible leads.
Arilyn is a loyal friend. She's loving, kind and caring. As a sister she always did her best to support Ilyn and to hear her out, however the differences the two had in their personalities caused a rift between them that Arilyn could never leap over. She came to believe that some people can't be helped, at least not unless they want help. When it came to her mom, Arilyn was happy. She loved being with her before she died. Their relationship was very comfortable for the two of them before. Only as the years went by, Arilyn felt an emptiness inside of her that she accredited to the loss of her twin, Ilyn. That was when Arilyn started on her search to discover the where abouts of Ilyn.. When she learned of her passing, Arilyn became impassioned.
Now thats just one side of Arilyn, what most people dont know is that the girl is schizophrenic and has MPD[multiple personality disorder]. Arilyn tends to only push out her opposite personality when she is extremely upset or mad, her split personality's spilt into three. Arilyn is her extremely sweet, and normal side, Kama is her fighting side, and Lynda is her depressed/sad/mad side. Arilyn has suffered with this since her mother died when she was just a young vampire.
Mailyn and Korlyn bring on more of a lesbian side of Arilyn, she never thought this was a bad thing but it could get weird. IF Arilyn happened to go back to her normal self while with a female she'd be a little weirded out. However she has no prefrence, she is just surprised since she blacks out when she changes.
Its best not to upset Arilyn has her Korlyn side can be extremly bitter and nasty. Arilyn has no control over when they come out and never has had control.
When it comes to her schizophrenia she has this at all times and it just comes on randomly. When this happens it is best to try and calm her down by telling her its not real and holding her, Aeon has been able to hold up when this happens as she understands her rider. Arilyn does not take drugs for this as she feels its un natural and bad for her so she suffers through the schizophrenia.

History: Arilyn was born to parents settled in Ireland. Originally though. Her father was always out and working in his job while her mother was a clothes maker for their little community. Money was not needed and life was a breeze but little Arilyn's early childhood was a happy one. She was tough yet friendly and had her own group of friends. The young girl developed a liking for science and began to spend more of her time outside. She tried her hand at bigger things like dissecting animals, her dad gardened but decided it wasn't her kind of thing yet. Such outdoor activities earned her a large number of friends of soon Arilyn became 'one of the girls'. She forced herself to become more independent and aggressive and even became a bit short-tempered and stubborn in the process.
Academically, just above average, Arilyn's interests lay in the human body and history. Besides working in her class she often liked to watch her mother make clothing so she would often run to her mother's shop after planting just to watch her work on all types of clothing. When not too many people were around, her mom would let her play around with some of the spare fabrics in the shop. Her ultimate dream was to be able to work on a human, become a doctor or scientist. To help the human race survive and help them along as they got sick and frail so that they could have food.
Arilyn worked two jobs while trying to help at home for her parents. After a string of flings and failed relationship, things were beginning to get rather stressful and Arilyn was inches away from cracking under pressure. She finally cracked when her mother was diagnosed with an illness a few months later.
Arilyn left her house one night and walked to a local spot with a lake. She stared at the water body for hours contemplating taking her own life. The seventeen year old was so lost in her thoughts she didn't see the tall man who silently walked up to the lake and stood beside her. She turned to see 'Uncle' Darius, a man she'd seen around the block ever since she was a child. He would often lurk around this very park in the evenings, smelling of alcohols and something vile she could never place. Most people would have considered Peter dangerous but he'd never tried to harm Arilyn in the past and only made her laugh with smart-ass comments and his slapstick humor..
That night though, there was something strange about Darius. His eyes seemed to glow with an unearthly light as he stared at Arilyn with the most serious expression. "Do you really want to die?" he asked. Arilyn can't recall much else from that night but she knows in ended with her being turned by 'Uncle' Darius. He disappeared after that night though, leaving the new fledgling feeling lost, confused and very very angry. It wasn't for weeks that she met another kindred and learnt the truth about what she was. When she was able to keep a bit of a clear mind she sought out her father and killed him, when she had she spread the news of her death and fled.
As she continued on in life she figured that living, and believing herself as another person would be best. She began her life in another country, living as Arilyn Epith. She never remembered a lot from the deep past of her awakening, or her first few days of her being an supernatural being. All she knew was that she had a deep blood lust and she couldn’t get out of it until she had her fill. She knew that after that she couldn’t seem to live without the blood of a human.
As she lived her life out in the open in a way, and hardly ever feared a human. One thing she did want to do which she couldn’t was become a doctor. She did have a medical degree, she couldn’t work with blood or she’d kill them. She decided she’d take on her scientist job, and the counter drug selling to vampire who needed them to seduce their victims. She could become something else but this was the closest she could ever get to being a doctor in a way. When she was off from her pharmacy duty she worked with the small group of other vampires in a field study of humans. It was a completely random thing but knowing more about humans and their weaknesses was something that was helpful.

As she lived her life out in the open in a way, and hardly ever feared a human. One thing she did want to do which she couldn’t was become a doctor. She did have a medical degree, she couldn’t work with blood or she’d kill them. She decided she’d take on her scientist job, and the counter drug selling to vampire who needed them to seduce their victims. She could become something else but this was the closest she could ever get to being a doctor in a way. When she was off from her pharmacy duty she worked with the small group of other vampires in a field study of humans. It was a completely random thing but knowing more about humans and their weaknesses was something that was helpful.
