-This cross necklace, which she managed to keep. She doesn't wear it, but she has it on her person at all times.

Appearance: Julia looks like your typical beach bunny. She's blonde and, surprise, blue eyed. Her hair tends to wave, and she loves that. Straight hair is good sometimes, but generally it drives her insane to have her hair straightened. Her skin is lightly tanned from time spent on the beach and she wouldn't have it any other way. She hates being pale.

Julia doesn't pose the most intimidating figure, standing at five foot six and weighing somewhere around one hundred and fifteen pounds. She has the body of a dancer, seeing as dancing is one of her passions and has been something she's done since she could walk.

There are a few scars, mainly small ones, on her body from her past as a slayer. The latest, and largest, came from her latest struggles when she was brought in. This one runs on her back, tracing the line of her right shoulder blade. Other than this, she is unmarked.

Personality: Julia has a definate shall we say... spark to her. She is a defiant girl, and she's the first one to tell you that. She despises being a slave, and under most circumstances will flat out refuse to be ordered around. It's just not in her nature. That being said, Julia still holds some of her old mannerisms, which probably adds to the hate of being ordered by the people she used to hunt. In the odd circumstance where she doesn't refuse an order, it is very likely that she'll just turn around and do the task, but it won't be done correctly.

One of the traits Julia sometimes wishes she could be rid of is her sarcasm. She's sarcastic in all of the worst times, and very few of the good ones, which has gotten her in trouble more than once. This melts together with the defiance, and will probably get her in more trouble with a master than she hopes for.

Getting Julia angry takes some time. But if you manage to anger the young woman, watch out. After all, hell hath no fury as a woman scorned. Julia's anger is the type that builds and builds, her being the type of person that just bottles that anger up and lets it sit hidden away, until it explodes at the next person who actually manages to make her blood run a little hotter. When she gets angry, she'll lash out at whoever is around her, completely disregarding the logic she usually lives with.

That being said, Julia is usually a rather logical person. Her parents were smart, and she's a bright girl herself. She values intellect, and bases the majority of her decisions off of logic, with the exception of being so defiant towards the people who "own" her now.

Sadness. Julia doesn't do sadness. Or rather, she hates being sad. It's another one of those emotions that she keeps bottled up and hidden away from the world. Sadness, in her opinion, is weakness; something she feels she can't afford to show in this world. Therefore, she tends to express her sadness when she's alone, and when confronted will deny any spark of the feeling. When the emotion strikes and she's not alone, Julia becomes rather distant, anxious to get away from everyone and everything.

History:
Chances are, if you've been around the hunting community, as either the hunting or the hunted, you've heard the name Porter. And if you're one of the monsters the Porter family went after, you probably didn't live to tell the tale. James and Nicole Porter were a rather happy couple, and had made quite a name for themselves in the hunting community before their daughter was born.

Julia was raised on the move, always sleeping with one eye open and one hand on some sort of weapon to use against the people her family hunted. She learned various fighting styles from her parents, and became quite good with a gun, normally loaded with some sort of silver bullet. She always kept her body in great shape, keeping a strict vegetarian diet, working out with her parents, and throwing herself into one of her other loves, dancing.

However, when your job is to take down the creatures of the night, you build up a few enemies. You let one vampire slip through your fingers, and you have to double your vigilance. The Porters did just this, but it seemed that one of their past targets still found where the were, and was able to ambush the family in the middle of the night. It was quite a meeting. James and Nicole went down fighting, taking out a few of the vampires' friends on their way. Julia wasn't so lucky. The vampire took an interest in her, sure that a 19 year old virgin would earn him quite a deal on the slave market. Despite her efforts, and she has a nice scar to prove said efforts, Julia was subdued and forced into the slave world.
