She wondered about him. Men came in went in her life and she had never questioned them leaving. But what if he did? Could she ever let him go? That was the problem with Zain; she liked him almost too much for her own good. She grinned up at him with a blush and laughed. Sabrina wasn't anything really fascinating, she was just herself, nothing more or less. But she did love hearing him say that, she had to admit. She turned her face to the sun, feeling the warmth from the bright autumn day bring her plants to life. It was so much better than being cold.
Looking up, she caught a flash of what looked to be sadness in her lover's eyes. Whatever could have upset him? Tilting her head to the side, she watched the expressions and emotions flit back and forth on his face. Something was bothering him badly and she wanted to help, but did not wish to pry. He would tell her on his own time what was going on in his head, and that was enough for her. She heard him chuckle and mutter something about old man, and sighed. Something was wrong and she didn't like it one bit. "Alright, I tried to not ask. But are you alright, love?" Her tiny hands covered his bawled up fists and she placed a kiss on one hand. "You don't have to tell me, but I at least want you to be okay."

He gasped and jumped slightly from her touch. So she noticed. How could she not? It was clear as day something troubled him as he turned and relaxed his hand letting them entwine within hers. He pulled his self together and placed that warm smile upon his face once more. "I'm not going to disappoint you. I know its odd hearing this from some guy you only met a night ago. But I give you my word for what its worth. I will work hard to make sure you do not frown or become sad because of me." His words were soft and truer than many things he had ever spoken. This was what he wanted to do. To keep this women happy. To do that he would conquer the world if it meant so. He was a weapon, but before her eyes he was a man. A man well worth caring for. Zain leaned down and nuzzled her cheek affectionately as he purred his words into her ear. "Tonight will be special. I want to take you somewhere that I have never taken anyone else before. You do not haft to dress up, just come with me when the time comes and dress how ever you would feel happiest with wearing." With that he pulled back and gazed upon her, his eyes having a slight twinkle from the sun making the wildness in them show even more.

Whatever it was bothering him, bothered her. He had that distant look in his eyes and it wasn't a good thing. Especially the way that he reacted to her touch; he had never done that before. If anything, they enjoyed each others touch. Sabrina's blue eyes gazed back into his with worry, but it was soon chased away when he began to speak. "Oh, Zain," she murmured once he was finished. Her hand cupped his cheek gently, nothing but pure adoration written upon her face. This man was incredible, simply incredible. She had had a lifetime with a man she cared about, married to because it was the way things were in her day, but never had any man ever promised her this. She smiled as he nuzzled her cheek softly, the feeling sending tingles throughout her body. "Zain, you are simply wonderful, love. You don't have to take me anywhere; I am my happiest with you." And he would see that she too spoke the truth as she gazed up at him lovingly. He looked...fierce, almost wild with those strange green eyes of his. "Do you know how incredibly happy you make me just standing here?" A smile broke out upon her face as she laughed at her own self.

She to made him happiest when she was around him. All the evil in his heart simply melted away when she was around. She was his warm ray of sunshine and he would always guard it. With a swift action he swooped her up Cinderella style as he breathed in her wonderful yet dazing scent. " I could not imagine what I do to make you so happy. I do not know how I differ from any other man either. But none the less I am happy that I can offer you this happiness. I would never want it to fade..for if those eyes were to shed tears before me then it would feel as the heavens them self's should be crying as well." He turned to the field and carried her abit before laying her down into the grass as he lay beside her looking into her eyes. " Can you truly be human?" His smile was kind, his voice was soft yet secure. His eyes still held that same wild look, yet with something else within them. Something very good.

As he swept her off her feet, literally, Sabrina let out a giggle of both happiness and because he had caught her off guard. This was what she craved, this simple delight in him being here. And he was already making her feel like a princess when she was nothing but a normal woman. Well, save for the powers that she did have. And all of those three hundred years on her. Her little nose twitched with humor, "You do so much that you know little of then, love." What he said was beautiful, almost too good for a man to be telling the truth. Yet she saw it there, in those green eyes of his that were so stunning. Wrapping her arms around his neck for support, Sabrina smiled as he laid her down on the soft grass as if she were made of glass. A laugh shook her silently, "Aye, that I am. Though I am pretty sure being three-hundred would say otherwise." He was wild. She could see it in those eyes of his and she loved every last ounce of it. Throwing her arms around his neck in a hug, she laughed. "Whatever did I do to deserve you? To deserve this splendid moment with a wonderful man such as yourself?"

Zain loved her touch. And her just in general. But something really caught his attention. Did she really say three hundred years? There was noway..or was there? I mean it could be possable. Hell he was 600 plus years now. So why not? He looked deep into her eyes and smiled upon her question. "You wonder what you did? Hmm. I am what you have desired all your life, your fairy tale brought to life. Everything you wanted in a man is before you now aiming to please and impress constantly. Though what I have shown is only the tip of the iceberg. There is much to me. And much more happyness to come. In my eyes your no less than a princess to me. Therefore how can I not be the way that I am? But now that we are on this topic..May I ask you a question? You said three hundred years? Are you truelly that old? You look of nothing more than a days shy of twenty three at most."
Of course he figured his question was rude. You kinda never ask a woman her age, but in this case how could he not? He did though want to know as much about her as he could. Her favorite things to do. Places to go. Surely though with her age she has had to gone almost everywhere around the world. These thoughts actually surprised him. He was getting so close to this woman. Closer than he ever allowed himself to be. His mind was made up though. He was going to take a chance.

He looked at her as if he had not heard her correctly. But he had and she wasn't sure how he was going to take it either. She had been born so long ago. In the time of Puritans and when the Church was shoving bad Religion down her people's throat. That was how she had ended up here. That was how her mother had come to an untimely end; leaving Sabrina to fend for herself. She smiled as he spoke, her head resting on his shoulder as he continued on to tell her what and who he was to her. Yes, he was all of those things and she hoped that he would stay that way for at least a while. She laughed lightly when he finally asked her about her age and nodded. "Aye, I am three hundred years old. My birthday was this month actually."
Sabrina decided that Zain should know about her past. At least if he was going to stay like he said he was. He needed to understand a lot about her before he truly made up his mind. She was a lot to handle and she knew it too. "I was born in a town called Stonehaven, Scotland. It goes by a different name now, but that is what I shall always call it. My mother had been an outcast and I was born fatherless. But she was the only woman that knew anything of healing, so they let her be. Soon the times of the Witch Trials came about. I was but one and twenty when they took my mother and me from our home and had us hanged." Her blue eyes darkened thinking of her mother and a single tear rolled down her face. "My mother..she was not an immortal Witch, but I was. She left me everything she knew in an old family book and I sailed to the New World, going as a nurse sometimes to make a living. Then there were times that I had to do things I am not proud of so I could be here now." Turning to look at him, she sighed with a small smile. At least he would know this much about her. For now.

So he did hear her correctly. Who would have guessed? Truthfully this made it alot easier on him. He had someone he could relate to now and talk about the way things were. Yes this was actually a very good smiling fortune upon him. Fate had a mix in this none the less as he smiled at her. "You have lived a long hard life. I can truly see that much now. Your kind out casted, living in constant fear and wondering if people can truly accept what you are. I do understand Sabrina. And I see you as no outcast, no monster. You have a gift, not a curse. A wonderful amazing gift and it should be embraced by all. Not feared. And best of all underneath that gift is the most amazing women I have dared lay my eyes upon." As he stare deeply his voice became softer, his eyes a glint of understanding. Now he knew next..the secret he was holding back would not scare her. Because of people like her...they were the ones who drove his new ambition. " Sabrina..take my words not lightly. I have begun something amazing.., something that has never been done in all the times of the world. I am creating a safe zone for all our kind. Humans, lycans, vampires. Even the gifted to which we all can live in harmony with out being judged. With out fighting. This...utopia will be the starting point of a new age. A place where the turning point of the world shall begin and true living shall start. We have gone to long living in the shadows. We were created just like all others. We deserve to be in the open. So will you..will you take my hand and walk with me and help me lead us all into a new world. Our world. A place of happyness.., I fear I could not do it with out you by my side driving my ambition."
He was completely serious with his words as his fingers caressed the top of her hand. To be honest he was slightly nervous to see if she would accept. But part of him was also very confident. He believed strongly in the woman before him.

She hoped that he did not think her silly for admitting as much as she had, but she felt the need to. The need for him to understand why she was the way she was at times and why she was so afraid to be anywhere but here, in her home. It wasn't as if she was a recluse, it was just that she was so terribly afraid of someone or something hurting her as did in her life before. And she felt her heart soar when he said he understood what it meant, what it was like to be an outcast all of your life and have no one there for you. Tears ran down her face, but not all of them were from sadness and her remembering the bad, but for the sweet words that he spoke to her. A gift. Her powers were a gift and he believed her to be amazing. Her fingertips traced his jawline lightly, "Thank you, love." She knew he meant what he said, she could feel it, see it in his eyes as he began to speak again.
Sitting up on one elbow, she peered down at him thoughtfully. Slowly taking in his words, his ideas, her eyes begin to grow bigger with both excitement and awe. His dreams! He was striving to make them all united, to help them all understand each other and have no fear amongst them any longer. A utopia. Complete and utter bliss for all kinds of species would be wonderful, he was right. Yet she feared for them both because they were different. Would they ever truly be accepted? Looking into his wild green eyes, she decided that it mattered not. Not as long as she was with him. Taking his hand in her own, she placed a soft kiss into his palm before she spoke. "Zain, I am afraid that I would follow you into hell if you asked me to, darling." Leaning back down, Sabrina kissed him both hungrily, and lovingly, as a smile graced her lips. "Yes, I will follow you and do whatever I can to help you. I want to be by your side, love. As long as you want me."

As long as he wanted her. Well that was easy enough, He knew right then and there that he would always want her, that he dare say a amazing love was growing for this women. The feelings between the two were very mutual. He loved her and would destroy the world if it was what she wanted. But hopefully she would not betray him, for his trust in the opposite gender was slightly shaky. But given time it to would develop and become strong as iron. Or so he hoped as he looked into her eyes leaning close. His lips locking onto hers as he ran a finger against her cheek. "I will give you the world and have you settle for nothing less my love. No more tears of sorrow. Only happiness and bliss shall be granted upon us as I become your knight and stand tall to shield you from the terrors of the world until it is finally what it should have always been. A wonderful utopia for all." With that he kissed her full and deep like he had never before. His kiss was hungry, his tongue was smooth and silky against her own. His heart rate picking up over the sensation this woman put upon him. He truly did not want to be with out her. Dare the man who ever becomes foolish enough to harm her for he will weep to have the heavens wrath instead of that of Zains. Upon a few minutes Zain broke the kiss as he stood up. Already the time seemed to fly by as he looked around then back to his angel before him. " Sabrina..its time. Time to take you to a place that I know you have never been. Take my hand..and close your eyes."

My how she was already more than just infatuated with this man. It was beyond a physical touch that she cared about him, in fact, she was totally sure of it. Zain was...he could be what she had been looking for for so very long. All of her life in fact and the thought that he was here now, after searching for so long, overwhelmed her. And with everything he promised, what he said he would try to do for their kind, for her, it made the feeling blossom even more until she thought she would bust from the seams with elation in her heart. So she shared that feeling as she leaned over to place a kiss on his lips and smiled. "You are already all of those things, Zain. Just by promising, telling me that you want to do this, and partially for us. You have already become my shield, and most definitely my knight, love." Her arms twined about his neck as he kissed her heavily, with a fever even stronger than that of their passion the night before. A kiss that meant so much more than a kiss. He could not leave her, not after she had lost her heart, yes she had lost her heart, to him. Rubbing her lips against his, she dipped her tongue in to taste the sweet salt that was all male, all Zain. He would protect her, care for her, just as she wanted to for him. Letting him go as he stood, Sabrina propped herself up on her elbows, her hair a mess behind her, as she looked up into his face. "Alright," she mumbled as she stood and wrapped her tiny hand in his own and closed those bonny blue eyes tightly.

"Your knight..already? That is wonderful news. Though I fear I shall never be the white holy knight. I will always be the black knight who's evil knows no bounds. Or so I have always been casted with the name of. Even now..., I'm trying to help the Lycans..yet there new general..The general I picked for them casts me to be as evil as Lucifer himself."
Zain turned and looked up as he growled abit clenching his hand.
"I am trying Sabrina. I have done so many wrongs in my life and now I am trying to amend them. To do something right..no to do something incredable..yet still that woman trys my patience and my goodness. She just does not understand the battle that wages in my soul. The evil that swirls and how much I desire to kill her for her insolence. But I can not you see.., I will not for I do not want to be shunned again, to be alone.., To be with out..you."
Zain leaned down upon his kneels as he held his head in his hands.
"No one seems to understand the pain I go threw for being what I am...., and I fear they never will. But I want to create this new world so that no one will ever haft to face the pain I have ever again. Tell me.., do you believe it possable...that weapons like me could ever fully and deeply love a women like you?"

"You are mine, so shush. It matters not what another thinks or believes of us, Zain. And as far as this new general goes, maybe they just need time to get used to the idea. Speak, but do not turn your ear away from their words while you do, my love. Everyone must be heard equally for any peace to be found." Her hand cupped his cheek as she placed a kiss on the bridge of his nose a smile tugging at her lips. It would take time for him to understand that he was not all evil to her. Yes, she understood that there were those that he would be so to, but never to her. She let go of him upon hearing, and feeling, his growl. It was one of anger and frustration; one that she would let him shake off.
Tilting her head to the side, she listened and she understood. He wanted to find that peace, that kindness that everyone deserved no matter who or what they were. But it would take time, she knew that and while he did, she also knew that her lover was a tid bit impatient as well. "Let her be, Zain. If the woman is that determined to have it her way, let her be. If she is right, then good for her. If she is not, she will fall flat on her arse and realize that she is wrong. Let her make the choice my love and know that you will always have me. Okay?"
Sabrina fell to her knees before him, taking his big hands in her tiny ones for a long while before she spoke. And when she did, there were slight tears in her eyes and a small smile on her face. "Do you love me, Zain?" Her eyes brimmed with fresh tears and she laughed at herself. "I think you can, my love. But I cannot make you love me anymore than I wish you could. To love me is to know me and while I think you know me, maybe you do not enough to love me just yet. Can you? Oh yes, I believe that you could come to love me. Hopefully as much as I seem to love you already."

(Damn this is getting really good. BTW, why so quiet lately? Everything ok : ( ? )
Zain turned his head up and shook his head. This was some women. Oh yes he could definitely learn to love her. There was no question upon it. And she already seemed to understand his reactions very well it seemed. Something he found odd, Even he himself had a hard time understanding himself. But it was good to hear from her as he leaned his hand forward wiping a tear from her face. " Now now, what did I say about those tears? I love you already though it is a scary word to embrace fully, but it will get there. It will be a patience well deserved. And I will tell you this though. You are the first and probably the last I shall ever come to love. Which to me is fine."
With that he stood as he pulled her to her feet sweeping her up once more as he cradled her close to his warm chest. Light as a feather she was before him, and more beautiful than a rose when it first blooms.
"Now let us go my love."
With that his wings formed forth and stretched full and wide before springing forth to life as he began to lift her and fly to wards a place of interest, a place he hoped she would love.

((Hehe, I know! And I'm alive! We just had a power thingy out and I have been shopping for a dress for Senior Night. Bleck! )) Even if she did not find love in this life, or with Zain, she would do everything she could to help him. That was a given for her. She was kind and she cared about him enough to want him to stay, and it was rather obvious. He was someone she understood very well indeed. She knew it was hard trying to find yourself, and while he may think he knew himself, she knew that he did not. No one really knew them self until they were already gone form this life. Nuzzling his hand, she smiled lightly. Her blue eyes found his green ones with wonder in them. How could they love each other so soon? Already? Yet, it was there and she knew the feeling very well. Shaking her head, she laughed at him slightly. "Aren't we a pair? Me with my silly crying. But I know what you mean, love. And I know that it will take time, I do not expect you to leap up and declare your undying love for me. Knowing that you want to be here is enough." She laughed as he pulled her to her feet, cradling her in his arms easily as if she were a mere feather. It was a fun feeling to be in his arms this high up and she could only imagine what it would be like to fly. Sabrina's smile was huge as he announce it was time to go. Wherever was he taking her? And how? Her question was answered about the how as he stretched out a pair of wings and shot up. Stomach lurching, she let out a squeal of surprise, and then one of enjoyment. They were so high up! "Oh, this is amazing, Zain!"
