leona ;;
The woman watched the club, a smile on her face. She was feeling better already, the energy from the crowd itself was amazingly enough to make her healthy without harming them too much, save for those that got too close to Leona and stayed there.
It was a good turnout, one of the reasons she worked here. leona put away a glass, finishing wiping it off, just as someone called for another drink. As Leona inhaled deeply, she nearly gagged. Somebody brought drugs, again. That really hurt her nose and sense of smell, ugh. But she turned toward the person, sauntering over to them, a sly smirk on her lips.
"How can I help you?"

Renee was just out for fun, really. She never went to the clubs, really, today was a first. She usually kept away because of all the humans and such. Plus the smell was disgusting. She wondered how many vampires she could find in a place like this. Looking for blood and possibly sex. Renee, on the other hand, was looking for socialization and attention. Attention wasn't easy to come by for her, seeing as she was a Neko and a lot of people disliked her for it. So, here she was, dodging humans and "dogs" everywhere. She couldn't stand either of them. She only came to the chest of the human men here, though she found herself to be taller to some of the shorter men. Also, women had a tendency to be short as well, so sometimes she was about as tall as them. She looked like a child, but this wasn't the case. She was 19 and very aware of her young looks. Her amber eyes studied some of the people around her. There seemed to be no pupils in her eyes but this didn't harm her vision. She could see better than the majority of the people in the club.
The first place she went was to the bar. There was a woman there who seemed to be making the drinks for the people around. It looked like a good place to start, a place to get attention. The emotions around here were swimming in her mind. She was quite distracted as she moved along. she was already itching to steal from this place but she was holding herself in check for now. She couldn't take anything yet. Renee hopped up onto the counter, watching the woman get someone a drink. Renee didn't really like alcohol so she wouldn't be asking for anything. Instead, she was only at the counter to make herself taller and easier to see. She was watching Leona carefully, wondering how she managed to work here. It smelled of drugs and things Renee didn't even want to think about. Renee was already reaching out to the people around her, trying to get them to come over and give her a little attention. Her large ears were perked up, listening for anyone to call on her.

Another's person's emotions hit Leona, and she turned to glance at her before turning to smile at her customer. "Sure thing," she said, getting him a refill before walking over to Renee, wary of the little Neko.
She turned her sense off, for now, not wanting to cause her to pass out, because if she stayed here, then she probably would. Leona smiled at the girl, her gloved hands resting gently on the counter. "And how can I help you?" The physic vampire didn't say it meanly, but curiously, wondering how this one could walk so openly, especially with the slave dealers hanging around.

Renee knew this woman was wary of her, but it didn't bother her in the least. She was kicking her legs, her tail moving contently. Leona had refilled a drink for someone, but other than that she didn't seem too busy. The club was noisy, though, far from being deserted. People were enjoying themselves and Renee didn't know why they shouldn't. Most of the lives here would be short ones. they may even be ended that night. Renee wasn't sure, and she really didn't care. Her life was in her own hands, no one could take that from her. She could protect herself by using the people around her, or in a worst case scenario, fighting for herself. She figured a lot of the people around her could be easily persuaded to do her bidding. After all, Renee was good at what she did. Knowing their emotions helped with that too, though.
Renee giggled softly at Leona. Her eyes said she was happy to have someone talking to her. Renee didn't know anything about Nekos being taken away for slavery, so she wasn't afraid to be out in a public place with all of it going on. "Interested. What's good here?" she asked, wondering about the stuff she was serving. Her eyes peered over Leona, looking behind the counter. "I'm Renee," she grinned, having forgotten to introduce herself. She didn't see anything interesting enough to steal here, but she was sure she could find something among the bodies in the club.

Leona shrugged, pulling out a menu from under the counter, tossing it to the girl so that it landed in front of her. "I would try the beer or martinis if you want to drink; they taste good . . . hmm . . if you want to eat . . maybe you could have the fries. . . " Her voice was lost in the music and the crowd's noise.
"Leona," the woman introduced herself simply, reaching for the door that let her out of the bar. "Excuse me for a moment, Renee." There were multiple things she could do right now, and only two were on her mind. First, get some of the drugees outta here. It was making her gag. And second, call in a professional for this little Neko. But that could wait until later.
Leona found the source, and grabbed the kid by her collar. Only a human. Good, this would be easy, then. She literally dragged her out, her eyes narrowed, amber gleaming hatefully. "get out and stay out. When you aren't high, feel free to come back." She returned, knowing full well that there was still drugs, but at least one supplier was outta here.
"Sorry," she admonished. "So do you need help deciding, or are you ready . . ?"

"Ooh, a menu!" Renee exclaimed. She had stopped kicking her feet and was now focusing on the menu before her. The drinks seemed interesting, but Renee wasn't going to have alcohol here. Fries sounded good, though. The noise was almost unbearable, loud in her ears. She reached up and tugged one of the cat ears as if it was hurting. Her tail was still moving back and forth behind her. She was still feeling the emotions, allowing them to flow through her. this woman, Leona, seemed almost frustrated. Renee was curious as to why, but she didn't ask questions. Instead, she was trying to figure out a way to make Leona her minion. Or so she called them. Leona didn't seem to be human, at least that's what the little Neko thought. She could have been anything, though, Renee couldn't really tell the difference unless there were physical differences between the races.
"Yea, sure!" Renee said as Leona excused herself. Had she known that Leona was wanting to call someone on her, she would have laughed. The little cat was paying attention though it seemed as though she wasn't. She was watching carefully as Leona walked away, but she lost the woman in the crowd. She could feel her emotions still, seeing as she had attached her focus on the woman. When Leona returned, Renee smiled cheerfully. "No problem, ma'am!" she said, eyes bright and cheerful. "I think I want fries...Hey! Wanna be my friend?" she asked. Her voice was careful and easy. Of course, she didn't really intend to make friends with the woman here. Her voice held a bit of influence in it. She would be a bit hard to resist, much like a little kitten who was begging to be pet. She couldn't force Leona to do anything, but that didn't stop her from trying to get Leona to do what she wanted her to.

Leona grinned, much like a cat does to its prey. Oh, a friend? She held back a bit of laughter. Leona looked out for herself and herself alone. Nobody else mattered. But this little Neko could prove useful in the future. Leona could get a large sum of money for her, if she turned her in, or tracked her. Renee didn't know what she had coming.
Though Renee's words were friendly, there was a bit of an undertone of influence behind it. No matter, Leona had astrong mind, but it wouldn't hurt to play along, would it? "Sure," she replied warmly, smiling. She turned from Renee for a second to call out to the back to another worker. "Fries, regular." Leona looked at Renee, amber eyes gleaming. "You didn't want anything on them did you?"

Renee couldn't read minds, but she would give a lot to be able to do so at the time. Her own thoughts were all over the place, unable to stay on one topic. But something told her to watch out for this woman. Of course, she didn't pay very much attention to feelings like that and she was already beginning to forget it. Renee wouldn't make a very good slave, or that's what she thought when she went over these things in her mind. She wasn't one to obey commands from cruel people. Her fingernails tapped lightly on the counter beneath her. It was obvious she was thinking about something, though she didn't share her thoughts with the woman before her. If Leona intended to track Renee down, she would have a few problems. Renee would love to be challenged that way, though. She was growing bored of the everyday things.
She bounced a bit when Leona said she would be her friend. She couldn't really feel her influence working, but the woman was saying what Renee wanted her to for now. "Awesome! I don't have many friends, being what I am," she said somewhat sadly, hoping to make Leona feel a bit of that pain as well. "No, that's good. Hey...What do you think of me? Am I a bad person?" This time it seemed as though she wanted comfort. Her tail had stopped moving and her ears were pointed forward. Her eyes held her emotion, but also a look that seemed to pull people in. She really was cute, sitting there on the counter. A little scary, though, with her pupil-less eyes.

Leona smiled again, reassuringly, or so that it was meant to look so. Ah, screw this, she thought. I can just use her to make me feel more energized, at least.
"Sure I'll be your friend!" she replied, full of enthusiasm. A small pang of lonliness hit her. Was the Neko doing that? Well, at least Leona knew what to expect with this one, and would be well-enough prepared in the future. Renee's eyes were somewhat unsettling, but the Physic Vampire could deal with it.
"You aren't a bad person, at least as far as I'm concerned," she said, smiling, her senses turning on, slowly draining the room, just barely, a small bit from each person, so little they almost didn't feel it, save for the Neko. Renee would be feeling faint after about an half an hour or so, if she stayed by Leona. "You're very nice and polite."

The Neko giggled softly. She was glad Leona was agreeing to be her friend. That may mean she was getting somewhere with this woman. "You like it here? I think it's really noisy," she said. Her ears were twitching a bit at the noise. She wasn't used to being around so many people. She chewed on her lip for a second while looking around, her tail still moving. "I don't know how you deal with all these people," she said thoughtfully. "What if they are mean?" she asked. She had a bit of sympathy there, trying to judge the emotions of the girl beside her. She wasn't sure what to think at that moment. She was already getting bored here.
"I'm glad you don't think I'm a bad person. You don't seem like a bad person either," she said, making it seem like she fully trusted this girl. She felt a little strange all of the sudden and she shifted uneasily. She wasn't sure why she was feeling this way, but she didn't think much of it. "Thanks!" she said when she heard Leona say she seemed nice. Renee looked over at her and smiled, a sweet smile that was almost heartbreaking. "I'm a little bored, what do you do for fun?" she asked. She was beginning to wonder where her fries were, her stomach was growling a bit.

Leona turned, and, despite the noise of the club, heard the footsteps of the Lycan that worked here. Instead of reaching for it with her hand, she simply called out to the object in question, using her ability to bend reality with her will; namely, telekinesis.
"Here you go, Renee." Leona gave her another grin, slightly crueler. She listened, her golden eyes flickering to the dance floor for a second before finding Renee again.
"Fun?" Of course, Leona's idea of fun was more than slightly different than that of Renee's but she could play along with it. The energy flow stopped for a minute, the Neko's uneasiness proving that. Ah, well, it was to be accounted for. "And what would you like to do now, hmm?"

She held back a hiss when the Lycan came out. she honestly didn't like them, but she stayed calm and noticed something the woman she had been talking to was doing. Renee watched Leona with excited eyes now. "Teach me how to do that?" she asked, no influence in her voice, or so it seemed. She truly wanted this woman to teach her this, she figured it would come in handy if she could learn. It would make it easier to steal things, that was for sure. She could only imagine how she could use that power to her own amusement. Something clicked in the back of Ren's mind. Leona had the smell of a vampire, but different. She was a Physic vampire. Renee wasn't sure how she had forgotten that, but now that she remembered she figured that was what the feeling was from before. Renee knew a bit about the many creatures that roamed the streets, she wasn't stupid when it came to these people.
"Thanks," she said cheerfully, dropping a bit of her guard. She didn't like the way the girl smiled to her and Renee studied her aura. 'Stupid memory,' she thought, hating the fact that she forgot things sometimes. Renee only forgot things sometimes, though it seemed like lately she was forgetting a lot more. It was probably all of the things she was distracted by. Renee took a bite of her fries and bounced a bit. "It's good," she said, thanking Leona again.
It would seem that it was easy to bore the little Neko. She was always wanting to move and loved doing things that kept her occupied, though she got tired of things easily and moved on to something else. That didn't mean she wouldn't go back to something to be amused more. "I don't know, I just don't want to sit here for long," she said thoughtfully. She was now looking at a man close by, watching him move and talk. Listening to his voice and paying attention to everything he did and felt. She lost interest, then and looked back at Leona. "I don't come to clubs often," she admitted.

Leona laughed, a true laugh, though it was short. "I can teach you, little one," she said, grinning. It was easy, simple even, and it would preoccupy the little Neko for a while whilst Leona thought. She stopped draining the surrounding atmosphere again, easing back into her normal state.
"Sure thing; no problem at all," the physic vampire said, referring to the food Renee had ordered previously. "That's fine, clubbing isn't for everyone," Leona said, shrugging, reaching below for a small shot glass, filling it up for herself, though the smell was sharp. She downed it, grinning. "ready to roll, Renee?"

"Awesome!" Renee said excitedly. She was going to get to learn to use telekinesis. She wasn't even sure it was possible for Neko's to do such a thing, but she was willing to try. After all, she really wanted to use it. She could only imagine all of the things she could get with a new power like that. Of course, it wasn't something she was born with and she was wondering if it was something you could learn. If it was, then she would be sure to learn it. She would do anything to be able to do it and this woman was offering to teach her to do so. It was an opportunity she couldn't pass up. True, it would keep little Renee occupied for a while, perhaps longer than most things she was interested in.
She took a bite of another fry and nodded when Leona said it wasn't a problem. "You seem to like it, though. Seeing as you work here," Renee stated. It didn't seem to bother Leona much, the noise and smells. It had nothing to do with Renee, though. She curled her nose at the smell coming from the liquid Leona was pouring into the glass. She nearly gagged as she watched the woman drink it. 'Gross,' she thought, but hopped off the counter when Leona asked if she was 'ready to roll.' She bounced up and down eagerly, nodding her head. "Yup!" she exclaimed.

She shook her head and laughed. "Well, I'm going to have to cut work, but that won't be a problem." She disappeared for a minute, leaving Renee with a confident smile. She spoke tothe manager hurridly, a gleam in her eyes, telling him not to try and stop her, really showing who was the superior between the two.
"Alright, well, we need to get out of here, 'cause of the humans, so where would you like to go?" Leona's amber eyes shown with the dancing lights as she slipped out from behind the counter, stretching out a bit. It would be easy to teach Renee this, if she listened to what Leona said. Though Leona would be better than her, perhaps she could at least get a gist of how to do it, at the least. It would take years for her to master it like Leona had, if Renee had average control and concentration. Luckily, Leona was born like this, though she did learn how to shapeshift, to a degree.
