It's Happened Before (LB)

but that seems like a promise not worth keeping.

What would you do, if the one you love is pushing you away?
when he tells you he loves you, then closes himself off so you can't recognize him anymore?

Bella doesn't know what to do anymore, she is tired of giving her all to Edward and getting nothing back. She is tired of feeling unwanted, she loves Edward and wants an eternity of love in his arms, but he is making that difficult. He refuses to give into her wishes, even though he loves her as much as she loves him. He just won't do that to her to make her suffer the way he does. All this does is frustrate bella more and more, and makes her wonder what's wrong with her.

UNTIL........

Jacob came back stronger than ever. He became her knight in shining armor. She has started to become even more confused about her feelings toward Jake. The only problem is, Jacob may not give her up this time, if Edward comes to his senses. Jacob loves Bella and hated having to give her up when she left to save Edward. But he wouldn't stand in the way of her happiness. This time though, he is going to feed into her insecurities to have her for himself, permanently.

WHAT'S WORSE IS......

Alice's visions of Bella and Edward are starting to be harder and harder to see. Most of them were actually starting to disappear in parts, like Bella was unsure. She let Edward in on her problem and she saw his pain flit across his features as the realization that he might be losing Bella set in.

Alice notices something is odd with Bella, and isn't sure what it is. Bella and jacob have been having a secret relationship up until this point. What will become of them? Is edward going to be man enough for Bella, will he own up to his mistakes and come through on her wishes? Will he risk losing her just to keep her human?

What will he do? Will he be able to save his relationship?
Or is Jacob going to win this time?
It's a story old as time, and we all know this storyline, because, It's Happened Before....
