Ellie had no reason to be here. Absolutely not a single reason, she didn't even have a mission lined up for tonight, and though the place was thriving like a fashion show after party, she stood alone. Leaning against the railing of the second floor of the club, she hybrid kept sharp watch of all the clubbers down below. Her Betsy Johnson dress clung snugly to her figure as she stood still, astute, watching like a lioness stalking her prey. She didn't really want a thing to do with anyone in the entire club, or at least she hadn't found anyone that had caught her eye. What she really wanted.... Alcohol. The very nectar that calmed and soothed, yet destroyed her from the inside out. The substance she cursed and craved all at the same time. Her fingers curled around the bar, turning her knuckles white as she struggled to fight the urge to drink. The inside of her bottom lip soon became entrapped between her teeth as she nibbled it. Soon it was unbearable, she couldn't handle fighting off the addiction anymore. She promptly turned on her heels and marched with purpose through the crowd and to the nearest bar. Ellie delicately set herself upon a seat and casually made eyes at the nearest bartender. The plan would be to flirt until she got what she wanted. "Three shots of your finest whiskey" she said in a breathy yet scratchy seductive voice. The bartender smiled at her and then began fixing her drinks. Once they were laid out in front of her, she slammed back the first two. Feeling the burn of the copper coloured liquid as it slid down her throat. The last shot, she looked at the bartender, held it up, and brought the shot glass to her lips and slowly drank it. The last drop slid down her chin and she delicately traced the path with a finger and sucked the leftover alcohol off her finger seductively, making sure that the male opposite her was watching her every move and loving it. In her mind, she was repulsed...but at the same time nothing could beat playing mind games.

He walked into the club. Wearing an un-zipped hoodyh revealing the front of his body. His scars and tattoos. His pants were white and new, with blue flames on each side. Blood stains on the hoody. Guessing where he got it from....A fighter he freshly killed. He was good at what he did. To top it all off his msyterious masks and bandana. Quickly he began to sniff the area. Smelling three vampires, and a ton of nekos, one stood above the rest to his nose.
One has quite a lot of whiskey, from the smell her was guessing it was Jack Daniels. Maybe he could use her an unwillinging pawn, to the pawn. Or he could get laid what ever works for him. To be honest her didn't care for tonight, for killing or sex. But he could get would be nice. He walked over to her, maybe expecting a smack or two, maybe a kick to the groin. But he made his move and played it cool. "Jacks..." He said with a deep and dark voice. "On the rocks..." Maybe she might talk to him.

"Jack is meant to be shot, darlin'" came her sharp voice. She didn't even bother to turn her head to look at him. She already knew that he wasn't human, though what she was, she wasn't sure yet. The neko in her could smell the blood on his clothes and it nearly made her gag. Some smells the girl couldn't handle, blood being one of them.
"Man up a little, whiskey is not something to be savoured" she said again. Of course some would beg to differ, but Ellie always drank to get drunk. She didn't savour anything alcoholic, except for wine.
Her demeanor was that of one who was rather bored of this seemingly one sided conversation. She crossed her arms over her chest and finally looked toward the Lycan standing next to her. Her features were accentuated in the dull glow of the black lights of the club, giving her an almost ethereal appearance, or it would be if it wasn't for her 'holier than thou' attitude.
These were the times where Ellie Doutzen was less enjoyable than a root canal.

"Then you don't know how to drink whiskey now do you?" He said already somewhat annoyed with her voice, but his tone said otherwise. The bartender passed him the glass. He picked up slow and spun the glass slowly making an icey sound towards the vampires, tempting them for a fight. And took a small sip. "Do you come here often? Little kitty..."
He turn his body a bit. "You know...If you...For your size....Actually savour the taste and drink it slowly you get more a buzz off it." He said raising her glass towards her. "You as a clubber should know this fact." He said smoothly. He knew what he was talking about.

There was nothing that bothered Ellie more than someone telling her she DIDN'T know how to do or enjoy things. She could enjoy plenty of things in life, it was all a choice of wanting too.
"You think you've got me pinned and figured out do you?" she asked acidly.
Young ones did tend to think they knew more than they did. First of all, telling her she didn't know how to drink, was like telling a fish that it didn't know how to swim. Secondly, he called her kitty, she had a name, and it wasn't 'Kitty'. And lastly, he classified her as a clubber. This was partly true, she had spent a lot of time in clubs for fashion afterparties, but ever since taking up her mercenary work, she hadn't been to a club in ages.
"You should be careful how you label people" she began, raising an eyebrow at him, "A primary rule of combat is to never underestimate your opponent, isn't it?" she asked. Though she wasn't actually looking for a fight, she just wanted to drink and look good doing it.

"Nope. But you think I was thinking that right?" He said bluntly. Seems she is a bit cranky. He smiled under his mask, slowly he knew more and more about her, without her even knowing. A bit easier than expected, but he wasn't going to complain. "Jumping pretty quickly to conclusions aren't you."
He takes another sip, through his mask. "Well...We are in a club. Your kinda dressed as a glam girl. From what I'm guessing." He looked at her smiling under his mask. "A rule of fighting? I wouldn't know? But I guess it would be. I am no fighter. The blood stains are my own."

Ellie rolled her eyes, she could tell the story about the blood being his own was a lie faster than a sniffer dog could sniff out a suitcase of cocaine at an airport.
"You're pretty intact for it to be your own blood" she said raising a skeptical eyebrow. She briefly turned her attention to the bartender and ordered another drink, this time it was an actual drink instead of shot.
"And as for my attire, it's just what I'm used too," she began, sipping the drink from the glass. The familiar feeling of getting buzzed was now beginning to flood her body, and all she knew was that she didn't want it to stop.
"I get paid to look good" she said, as if it should have been obvious that she was a model. After all she had graced the covers of many magazines and had her face on billboards.

"Ever heard of a bloody nose?" He said smoothly. Again taking a sip and leaned foreword. "I get the worst blood nose ever." A small fake chuckle was released from his mouth. He shrugs a bit and leans back.
"So you agree with me with the whole being a you know clubber right?" He looks at her a bit. She was very attractive he had to admit that. But he wasn't going to say that to her just yet. But when she did that, he had two thoughts run through his mind. She was either conceited or maybe a model. Again he made his guess, going with the model. That can be covered as a compliment if he is wrong.
"So your a model then aren't you?"

"I never agreed to anything" she said pointedly, taking another sip of her drink, "simply seeing someone in a certain environment doesn't mean that they spend all their time there"
She set the drink down and traced her finger along the circular rim of the glass. Ellie listened as he made the connection now. A little slower than most, but she'd take it anyway. After all, not everyone read the magazines she was in, but even if they didn't they'd at least seen her picture once or twice before.
'So you're a model then, aren't you?'
"Clever boy" she said simply.

"Ah...You did not agree to anything willingly." He responded quickly. He turn to the bartender asking for another drink. "You don't have to do something often to make yourself a specific thing. For example. I see you in a club...You dress as a glam girl...A clubber I see you as."
"I am as clever as they come." He said jokingly, attempt to keep her into the converstion. Just enough so he can figure put where ll the vampire were exactly located. He found the first two, but they looked like slavers, nothing real important. The third one must be worth something. But where was he? "So well who are you exactly?"

"Well if you're as clever as they come," she began in jest, using his own words against him, "then you should already know the answer to that question"
The look on her face was one of malice, mixed with satisfaction. She had only begun playing the most mild of mind games. Ellie leaned back in her chair slightly and crossed her legs slowly, her dress rode up slightly showing more skin than there was already.
"But, if you must know" said Ellie again her tone now seeming bored yet annoyed that he didn't know, after the brief silence, "I go by many names...you can call me El "
Crossing her arms over her chest once more, she looked over at Hiro. She picked up the fact that he was calm, yet tehre was still a dangerousness about him. Looking him up and down she figured that he must have been at a fight before, why else would he be wearing the get up that he was at the moment.
"Tell my why you wear a mask in such a public place" she mused aloud. Her pointer finger began tapping in an impatient manner against her bare arm. Something about this one irked Ellie, but then again, there weren't many people that didn't irk Ellie Lanegan, so this was not a new development.
"I mean everyone wears masks, but to actually wear one out in public, either you must be really paranoid about someone learning your identity, or...." she kept musing aloud, in a way that almost seemed like she was talking to herself. Turning her attention back to her drink, she looked down at it, allowing Hiro a full blown look at her profile.

"Im clever not a stalker." He said with a small fake chuckle. But he made himself sound like he's filrting with the girl. He always good at making someone feeling comfortable. "I don't have to know. But you can tell me. Otherwise i would just make up a name for you." He said with a small wink.
"Well, I'm very ugly, in fact of hideous." He said bluntly. "Thank you for pointing it out. But yea I wear it for that reason. So no one can judge me and such. So that I am able to leave my house every day without someone throwing a rock at me or something." He lied of course. He wanted to see how she would react to it.

Ellie's lips pursed slightly as he answered. Something was telling her that it was a lie, he didn't seem like the type to be ugly. Ugly people weren't that confident, even with masks.
"Why do I feel like that's a lie?" she asked, cocking her head to side and looking at him. Partly this was the reason that she hated conversing with others, because they beat around the bush in attempts to make conversation. Nothing ever got accomplished with such useless fodder.

"Well....Ms. El." He started. "I'm quite the stranger. I just try to be nice, only for my mask to be mocked. And to be called a liar. I'm fine with that. You do not even know my name." He finished with. "You must think most ugly people such as I hide. But well...Your wrong. I am confident in who I am...And..Well wearing mask keeps people from throwing stuff at me...."
He continued to look around the club, looking for the third one. Damn it, for the love, of well...Whatever thing that gives a fuck. Where is that forsaken vampire? He quickly explained his wandering eyes to the girl. "If you are wondering about my eyes...I am still paranoid...And still have trouble looking people in the eye when I speak to them."

Still not believing the lie fully she just shrugged and took another sip of the sweet nectar within the glass she held in her hand.
"As long as you are comfortable with what you are doing, who am I to judge?" she asked. Her eyes met his once more as he explained the wandering-ness of them.
Paranoia, it was something she was all to familiar with yet she was excellent at not letting it show. "That's quite alright...." she started, as if she was going to say his name, but leaving it open so she didn't directly ask for it.
