Appearance:
Eliza has very dark hair that most would just call black, and the dark eyes to match it. Her eyes are extremely expressive, and as I’ve said, a very deep shade of brown. In fact, they’re so dark, it’s hard to tell where her pupils are. Her eyes are lined with thick lashes that make them seem bigger than they really are. Both her hair and her eyes contrast dramatically with her skin which is very light, almost milky, white. Her mouth is rather small and her lips are pink in comparison to the lightness of her skin. Eliza’s hair frames her heart shaped face and then continues down to the middle of her back. Her eyebrows are the same color as her hair and they have a definite shape and are rather thin, with an arc that is their only shape.
Her body would be described by most as petite as Eliza stands at only 5’2” and weighs only 110 lbs. Her frame is small, with narrow hips and shoulders and a small waist in between. Her limbs are slender as well, and her hands and feet are small and have often been described as child-like. Her clothing style used to be what you could call, skater-ish, but now that she’s a slave, she’s reduced to just wearing whatever she’s given. That goes for her hair as well. It used to be extremely well taken care of and she always wore it straight, but now it’s rather grown out and is always in its natural wavy state. She also can’t wear makeup anymore which is a shame, because she really enjoyed her eyeliner.
Personality:
Eliza comes off as being a quiet, sweet girl that doesn’t say much and just smiles at everyone. And for the most part, that’s right. She doesn’t talk a lot and if she could, she’d help anyone because that’s the kind of person she is. She’s fiercely loyal to her friends and honestly doesn’t have many enemies because its not in her nature to fight or not get along with people. That has led to people walking all over her because she just put up with it, but for the most part, it’s gotten her pretty far in life. She doesn’t have much of a temper and when she does get mad, her anger fades rather quickly.
Eliza used to be a lot more out going and friendly than she is now. That’s because becoming a slave has made her a lot more timid that she would have been ordinarily. She had a very sheltered childhood that left her thinking that the world was a wonderful safe place (unfortunately that was probably what got her captured), and being taken as a slave completely destroyed that. Now she’s even more reserved and docile and extremely submissive due to what she’s seen happen to slaves that try to fight back. Her goal for her life now is to do what she’s told, in an attempt to survive. And so far, she’s been doing okay with that theory.
To the people that dislike her for whatever reason, Eliza is nothing less than tolerant. “I may not agree with what you say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it”, is kind of her motto. She refuses to let people get under her skin when they want to and she sort of lives in her own little world. She has an extremely innocent mind and usually thinks the best of everyone, and forgives them even after they do something horrible. She sees the silver lining in every situation and always looks on the bright side as she’s a true optimist. She trusts very easily and builds bonds with people a little too quickly.
