Her tiny body laid crumpled in the middle of the bed as she dozed happily in what felt like forever. Kitty was a little bitty thing, but she was not weak. Well, not too weak anyway. She could keep up with her master, so she wasn't too shabby she guessed. She rolled over and open her eyes in slits. Wait, that wasn't Hiro! It was Bert and he was shaking her arm.
"Hey, kitty cat! You wake up now! Hiro is on his way and has more slaves. Get dressed for crying out loud. Did he do it again?" He sounded annoyed with her as he jerked the sheets off of her. "Get up!"
Kitty rolled out of the bed and hissed at him as she made her way to the bathroom. Geez, it was just some new slaves. Kitty cleaned up and came out sticking her tongue at him. "You could have been nicer, Mr. Bert." He gave Kitty a look and repeated that she had better get ready for her master and the new slaves. She did as she was told and walked down stairs to snoop around. Maybe she could see them before they saw her and her big cat ears. Even though her master didn't seem to mind, she did. Kitty wondered if they were Nekos or something else. She hadn't seen any of her kind in a while. But it really hadn't bothered her too much. And hopefully they would all get along too!
