Name: Nyevalsylien Alexandros
Alias: M’eas Saelien (Indeed, most know him by this rather than his true name)
Sex: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Race: Black Angel
Powers/Abilities: Chiefly, the power of Saelien is Immortality. Oh, he isn’t invincible or invulnerable – far from it – but he isn’t mortal like humans, or even like certain other impressive beings. First off, time doesn’t really affect Saelien, the main reason Saelien has been around for so long. His body is also made of tougher stuff than humans, which is what you might expect, since he is stronger and faster than a human anyway. A bullet or knife is still going to cause damage, but half the time, they are superficial wounds. Even with real wounds, it doesn’t really matter – Saelien might feel the pain, but putting a dozen bullets in him won’t do much in the long run. He can ignore the damage with a bit of willpower, and since he can heal pretty much anything with enough time, there isn’t much to worry about. If you want to kill Saelien, you can only manage it by cutting off, or otherwise destroying his head. Lesser measures just won’t suffice. Of course, do enough damage, and chances are you might get Saelien to retreat – damage might not be fatal, but it does reduce his combat efficiency.
The other power of Saelien is an innate talent for killing, something you might expect from an individual who was once an Angel of Death. As noted already, he is generally superior to a human – although there are certain angels, demons and other beings from other races that outstrip him in this. Strength and speed isn’t what should worry others, though. Saelien is highly proficient in all forms of combat…the fast, the strong, the determined; these qualities alone will not suffice to last long against Saelien. Outstanding, exceptional individuals are required if they want to live, when Saelien wants them to die. Of course, most don’t need to worry about this – only those Saelien decides must die.
Age: A few thousand years, give or take a century or two.
Height: 6’1’’
Weight: 180lbs
Occupation: Fallen Angel of Death, Saelien now acts as an assassin, mercenary…give him funds and a good cause, whisper a name, and someone is certain to die. Saelien is quite willing to work for anyone in this regard.
Weapon(s): Saelien carries two weapons, and the most significant is a sword forged in Heaven named Pitiless. Pitiless is the symbol of what Saelien once was, and still acts as. A sword of western style, forged from as if from pure silver – blade, hilt, pommel and all - yet possessing a constant gleam even in the darkness, with two edges. Being not of worldly origin, Pitiless is virtually unbreakable, and the edges of the blade are sharpened to a monomolecular point…and of course, since the blade is so durable, it requires no sharpening or care to maintain in good condition. As a result, with a good swing, many things will be easily cut by Pitiless. Ah, but the sharp edges and durability of this sword is not what makes it a sword worthy of Saelien; it possesses a minor power of its own. Those cut by Pitiless, who can otherwise heal themselves, will find their ability to heal inhibited…essentially, the unfortunate to taste the edge of Pitiless become haemophiliacs for a time, until the effects wear off…usually within an hour or so. Naturally, this makes Pitiless rather potent.
The other weapon is more modern, yet rather lacklustre when compared with Pitiless; a mere handgun, also crafted from silver, with a twelve round magazine. Saelien often carries a spare, thus at any given time, Saelien has twenty small calibre rounds with him. More weapons than these are unnecessary; Saelien will use anything and everything around him to win if he must.
Accessories: Saelien carries but one accessory, and a pragmatic one it is. With Saelien’s head being his most vulnerable point, the former Angel of Death once crafted an expressionless mask of the same material as Pitiless. Thus, his face would be protected, and those sentenced to death would not have the privilege of seeing his face. Saelien carries the mask even to this day.
Appearance: Saelien is a figure of respectable size, not overwhelmingly tall, and certainly not heavy, any fat that might have clung to his frame burnt away through harsh training, leaving behind a lightly muscled and lithe body with fairly pale skin, both strong and quick, allowing his every action to carry the force and strength necessary whilst remaining fluid – this, of course, does not even begin to take into account the invisible, yet present powers that come from being an old and powerful angel. Were one to look at Saelien, they would not see any scars; he is an angel that has seen his fair share of battles, but this deficit is proof of his impressive durability and ability to heal. His poise typically has the relaxed confidence of a professional, a master at fighting and killing, ready to spring into action at any moment whilst appearing to the untrained eye to be perfectly calm…and in a sense, why, Saelien near always is a beacon of peace, of inner tranquillity.
Of course, this often isn’t the first thing that most people see when they glance at Saelien. No, it is the great black wing, the sign that this is a fallen angel. Every dark wing hints at a tragic story, and the one that could be told by Saelien’s is quite the tale. Regardless, the wing itself is purest black and, unlike the wings of many Black Angels, rather majestic, large and impressive. When Saelien fell from Heaven, few things changed…sure, he lost one wing, but the other only changed colour. None of the deformities that a few others apparently have.
The second thing may well be the face of Saelien. All angels are renowned for being beautiful, and in this, Saelien is no different. A smooth and pale visage, ethereal in appearance – one could not mistake that this is a man, but it is most unusual, and furthermore, trying to place an age on Saelien, simply from his looks, is rather difficult. One glance might suggest the Black Angel is youthful…but the second could betray the deep knowledge hiding within the icy blue eyes of Saelien. Such eyes are cold things, gazing on most others without warmth, only crystal clear vision – and not only in the physical sense. Completing this image is the hair, which is the colour of the a sky swallowed by the night, long and with a few noticeable silver hairs…another source to confuse those who fail to appreciate Saelien simply is not mortal.
In terms of clothing, Saelien currently dresses all in black, befitting a fallen angel, suitable for an assassin that so often prowls the night. Black shirt, black trousers, black boots, black gloves, black long coat, with his sword attached to a black belt around his body, ready to be drawn to begin the killing.

Severe damage to the head is the greatest physical weakness.
