It had been a long time since Ellie had made her way to the pier. For her it held too many memories that she didn't think were worth holding onto, but for some reason she found herself here just after sunset. The lights of the city reflected of the rippling water, setting a picturesque scene in front of her. Ellie rolled her eyes skeptically, for she knew all too well that if she was modelling right now, the photographer would be up in arms about finding a perfect scene to shoot her.
She inhaled the scent of the light wind coming off the water, for some reason she thought of her mother when the scent overwhelmed her olfactory system. Her dad always told her that her mother loved the water, and that's where they met, on a beach years ago. For her the water was a mystery...an unknown, which was why she always associated it with her mother who was long gone. Ellie never knew her mom except for the fragments that her father told her.
Then her thoughts began to swirl, what would she be like if her mother had survived? Would her mother be proud of her behaviour? After all, not mother ever dreams of her daughter growing up to be a model who couldn't kick an alcohol and sometimes drug habit. A heavy sigh escaped the girls lips and for a moment her shoulders began to sag. This was Ellie in her natural state, and this scared her half to death. Years of being taught to hide emotions gave way to the water and the thought of her mother and she was beginning to show.
For a moment it seemed like Ellie couldn't breathe. Her mouth hung open slightly as she resisted the urge to start crying. She then turned away from the water and clutched a hand to her chest as she took in a deep breath. Her eyes frantically looked around, just incase anyone was around. Blame her paranoia, but she was certain that wasn't a moment anyone needed to see. Another sigh, this time one of relief, escaped the girls lips once again as she began to walk with purpose along the pier.

Vivian was walking away from the small bar from which she had just gotten kicked out of for starting a bar fight. It wasn't her fault the damn guy started to talk about hurting her family, even though her family was vampires and could handle a few humans. Vivian put her hands in the pocket of her zipper black hoddie and looked down at the ground as she walked. Damn if that guy hadn't started shit she would be hanging out flirting with the girls and guys and drinking herself silly. But no, the guy just had to touch her ass and then when she threw a punch and landed him on his ass he had to start saying shit. The owner of the place wasn't there though so there was nothing she could do. The owner was out of town so him stupid little fag of a son was watching the place. If the owner had been there he would of kicked those stupid males out instead of her. What ever though she was away from the bar and there was no going back so she would have to find another place to drink. Vivian sighed and picked her head up looked around the place and noticed that she had walked all the way to the pier. The water and sunset scene looked peacefully and Vivian would of loved to just sit off the edge of the pier if she wasn't so ticked off at the time. Looking around she figured there was no point in turning around. There was nothing back there for her at the time. Her mother and father (vampires) where at a meeting with the local vampire factory and cheeking up on them like they did every few years, leaving Vivian to herself. Placing one foot in front of the other she slowly started to walk onto one of the piers not noticing that there was a girl on it already. "What a stupid reason to get kicked out of the bar," she sighed.

Ellie stopped upon hearing the faint voice muttering to herself. Something about being kicked out aof a bar for a stupid reason. Well it had always been Ellie's experience that you got kicked out of a bar for doing something that deserved getting kicked out of said bar, or if you were talented, you could always get kicked out by proximity. But that was only if you were extremely talented.
"Usually if you get kicked out of a bar you did something to deserve it" Ellie commented offhandedly, and rather snidely if someone was keeping track. But then again that was just Ellie, the snide model bitch type.
"Or someone didn't like you being there" she commented again. Even though the girl didn't ask for Ellie's comments, she said them anyways. They were just a ploy to get her mind off her mother and back on track. Besides, the girl looked slightly bored and pissed off that her watering hole banned her for the night.

Vivian looked up a bit surprised that there was someone here. The wind was blowing the girls scent off into the water so that was the main reason she hadn't noticed the girl. But she sure should of been able to hear the girl walk along the pier, which irritated Vivian. Vivian hadn't asked the girl to comment on what she was saying but it seemed that the girl was obliged to say something snotty. The girl wasn't human Viv could see that much but she wasn't just one kind of creature either leaving her to think that maybe she was a hybrid though she couldn't be certain she hadn't ever met one. Glaring at the girl in front of her Vivians teeth clinched together in order to stop her from making a rude comment back to the first thing the girl had said. But then she had to say something else even though it was obvious that Vivian was in a bad mood. What was she trying to get into a fight. Vivian opened her mouth and though she meant to keep her cool it didn't work that way.
"Hey bitch it wasn't my fault the guy slapped my ass alright. It was one thing to do that but another to speak so poorly about my friends and family." Vivian looked up and down at the girl, she was cute but apparently very rude. She definitely wasn't Vivians type. "Most of you girls don't get it, I need alcohol its either that or i get myself into trouble ... well actually i get myself into trouble anyways but thats not the point. The point is I'm an alcoholic okey i need it its an addiction. Without it i go insane alright." She growled and kept her eyes on the girl."Why would a girl like you be doing out here anyways ain't it kinda late. A girl like you could get yourself hurt." To Vivian this was just a joke she was know toying with the girl. She sure as hell didn't know what the girl was but she figured that she would be able to find out sometime tonight.

A small chuckle escaped El’s lips as she listened to the girl spout off all her problems as if she cared. It was then and there that Ellie made the assumption that this girl talked too much, but she could handle it for a small period of time. Ellie just stood there smiling at the girl as she spoke of her addiction, as if she was the only person in the world with and addiction to alcohol.
“Listen up” she said pulling out the silver flask from her pocket, “You’re not the only one in the world who needs alcohol to function” she continued. This time the tone of voice changed to one of empathy and relation. Her slender fingers unsealed the cap and she took a swig of whatever poison happened to be in the container, usually it was her good friend Jack. After she had taken a sip she held out the flask toward Vivian as a peace offering.
“And it’s a good thing that I’m not most girls” she said with another small chuckle. It was a good thing she wasn’t like most girls, else she would be driven nuts to be exactly like them, even though her job would label her a ‘clone’ she was very much different personality wise than all the other ditzes out there.
“Sure I look like a clone, but I can’t stand girls” she said with a shrug, “actually I haven’t met a girl that I have liked, nor have I met many guys I’ve liked for that matter”

Vivians anger subsided for a moment as the girl explained that she too was an alcoholic and that she had yet to meet a female or male she liked. This surprised her very much seeing that she was in such good shape and everything. Then again though it really shouldn't of been a surprise to here everyone had different personalities and shit. Including Vivian but at least she had something in common with Miss. ... She didn't know what to call the girl she didn't know her name and she didn't know what to call her. Vivian had been in suck a rage that she hadn't been thinking straight. Neither girls knew each other and neither girls seemed to be getting off on a very good start so what was it to Vivian if she hadn't asking the girl her name. She was the one that started with her so that made her a not so nice person. Right? Vivian didn't know anymore but she figured that if she was going to be talking to this person for a while (which she had a feeling that she would be) then she wanted to be able to address her properly. Unless the girl preferred to be called a bitch or something along those lines.
"Whats your name girl?"
Vivian asked the question while looking at the container the girl had been holding out. Was she really trying to be nice or was she just going to take the container away from her before she grabbed it and be a total ass once again. Vivian didn't care but she took the container feeling that the girl wouldn't pull the bottle away and took it from her hands gently. Vivian could be a peacefully person when she wanted to. Living with two adult Vampires for most of your life she had learned to be more patient and nicer then she once had been. She had been a daughter of the alpha in her large pack when she had been born. And most of the time her father would teach her how to protect the pack and the territory. Her father was determined to have her be the next alpha female once her mother and father stepped down. But that had been ages ago. Thankfully the memories of the beatings and killing had slowly started to become fuzzy (thanks to the alcohol). Either way she wasn't AS bad as she once had been to wards new people.
"What exactly are you if i may ask. I can tell your not human but i can't tell what you are you seem to be a hybrid of some kind but what exactly is a mystery to me."

Ellie felt a sense of seperation anxiety as Vivian took the flask from her fingers but she quickly got over it just as fast as it came about. For now Ellie was glad to have something to take her mind off the memoires swirling about in the iron gated fortress that was her mind.
"I am called many things, but you can call me El" she said, her tone was smooth but monotonous in a sense, almost as if she was getting ready for a job. Another smile came across Ellie's painted red lips as she looked to Vivian. She hadn't even put a thought to it that this girl wasn't human, but now that she was prying into her background she began to think. A little too brash to be a vampire, or a white angel, not quite a neko, though she though she was good looking enough to be one. She would find out eventually.
"Neko Human hybrid" she spouted off, tilting her head to look at Viv, "You're awfully clever, or just really perceptive"
