There are four races.
Humans- Normal average humans much like us.
Scions- The enemy, they are much more powerful then humans and much more technologically advanced. They appear to be human with much paler skin and yellow, white, silver or black eyes. They also may have black or silver wings
Druins:- Have green tinted skin. They have pointed ears and look like elfs. They are technologically superior to humans. However they cant protect humanity because they are to busy defending themselves. However they provide support to humanity whenever they can.
Droids:- Metallic, They are made of metal and designed by their creators to serve purposes. Most look human, and have their own flesh and blood. They are used for war, sex and work.

War has fallen upon humanity, it has been raging for 20 years.
