The War begins

First there was peace.....

...Then there was war.....

...Now there is chaos.

The constant blood shed and battling between the creatures of the night and the creatures of the moon began many centuries ago. The battle started off small back in the 1200’s. It had started in the human world where both creatures lie. Vampires and werewolves were killing each other off in hopes of gaining power. It was a battle that had already begun and was continued by so many. The humans lived for decades unaware of the silent battle waging between the two species. The creatures were struggling with two problems; getting on top of the power chain and keeping their existence unknown. The battle raged for years without humans knowing. Things died down in the 1300’s and they came to a stalemate that lasted for a hundred years. But a drastic turn of events prodded the kindling flames. Lord Alexander Vandetta was found staked to a church truly dead. The death of the vampire lord spread quickly through the night and the kindling flames suddenly ignited ending the stalemate. The vampires blamed the werewolves for the death of their lord and began openly killing humans. It wasn’t long before humans realized there really were creatures of the dark to be afraid of. In order to protect the humans from total annihilation, the werewolves revealed themselves to the humans. Things got really heated up after that. The humans went into a state of panic and joined the two way war between the werewolves and vampires. The small battle spread and ignited into a three-way war between the three species. This war was the first Interspecies War and it was to last for ten more years before the werewolves decided to tip the scale. They began talking to the humans and telling them that they only wanted to protect them from the vampires. They also told them that they were good and wanted to help them crush the vampires. Eventually the humans were swayed and joined sides with the werewolves. This alliance poured oil on the already burning flame. The vampires were fighting at their full using their anger as a reason to fight, but their numbers were still going down. With every battle that came the humans began viewing the werewolves as powerful creatures and many wanted to become werewolves. The werewolves not wanting to lose this war obliged to the wishes of the humans. Though human numbers dropped dramatically, werewolf numbers soared higher than ever before. Things were looking very bad for the creatures of the night.

One man came forth with ideas that may very well save the vampire race from being wiped out of history. His name was Edward Vandetta, the son and only living heir of Lord Alexander Vandetta. He told the vampire council how they could very easily beat the werewolves and humans by using creatures far stronger but were controllable. He told the council how they could coax the Fae into helping them. All they had to do was explain to the Fae that the werewolves were trying to take over the world and the Fae would help them. Well easier said than done. The Fae aren't an easy bunch to coax but the vampires managed. When they Fae agreed to join the vampires armies flurished with members. There were numerous Fae in the world and all were willing to help fight against the werewolves. News of this spread to the werewolves and they had to act fast. The vampires would have their army ready and would be attacking soon. The werewolves began turning humans whether they wanted to be turned or not. They needed the extra fighters. The human numbers shot down to below one thousand. The werewolf army strengthened and within a year they were ready for the final battle in the Interspecies War. On September 13, 1598 both armies met in what is now Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They didn’t wait for the signals from their leaders. The werewolves were already lusting for the kill and were far beyond normal means of control. They wouldn’t listen to their alpha, Nicholas McClaire. So instead of waiting they charged as soon as the first vampires showed up. The vampires are a little more civilized than the werewolves so they awaited for Lord Edward’s signal. Once he gave it they charged and tore at the werewolves. Many of the werewolves hesitated when they saw the Fae fighting with the vampires. Fae are very powerful creatures and love blood and battle as much as vampires. This brutal battle lasted for weeks and weeks. Neither of the sides stopped. Lord Edward and Alpha Nicholas couldn’t control their armies anymore. It seemed this was going to an extreme blood shed. Just when the numbers had been brought down to half of what they were, Edward and Nicholas regained control and called the battle a tie. Both sides walked away wounded both physically and mentally. The number of pureblood vampires and pureblood werewolves had dropped greatly. Humans were now a rarity and any remaining humans were hiding away so that the vampires would not find them. The vampires had to rely off of animals and each other for blood. Though both sides were badly wounded and down on number, that didn’t stop them from trying to build up their armies once again. Another war was coming, but it would take some time to prepare.

Sixty years have passed and the world is in ruins. While the creatures of the night and the creatures of the moon built up their armies, smaller battles were going on around the world between the two. The small battles left many cities in ruins. The entire United States have been turned into ruins and forests have taken over most of the country. Europe, Asia and Africa have been having similar problems. Instead of towns and cities of humans there are army camps for werewolves and vampires. There are a total of forty purebloods left. The flames are building again and it won’t be long until the bomb goes off. Both sides are just waiting for something to ignite the war. Though the Interspecies war wasn’t only affecting the human realm, it was also causing damage to the demon realm as well. During the time of war the demon realm had flourished and fallen. Demons are particularly vile and mischievous creatures. The thing they loved the best about the war was how much money they made off of it. They bet with one another to see who would win in the war. They were having a great time, but things weren’t going as smoothly as they thought. The demons were getting behind in their work and the souls they were gaining were piling up. Something had to be done. The Demon Lord, Khaos, was not pleased at all with the demons. He wanted them to get back to work but he knew they wouldn’t until the war was over. He couldn’t wait that long. Khaos called together six of his best and most powerful demons to go down to the human realm and stop this war by any means necessary. The six agreed and headed down to the human realm almost immediately. Once they arrived they attacked the vampires first, since vampires were hard to kill. The vampire and fae numbers dropped drastically. Lord Edward sent word of this to Alpha Nicholas. The werewolves, not wanting to lose their greatest enemy, began fighting with the vampires and Fae to get rid of the demons. Though they banded together, they were still losing. Once werewolf, vampire, and Fae numbers were down to a weak level the six demons took control of the world against Khaos’s orders. The werewolf, vampire, and Fae population is at an all time low. Humans are even scarcer than before. The number of pureblood vampires and pureblood werewolves have dropped down to twenty. The six that took over the world are now wrecking havoc on the creatures. Creatures that have never before been seen are just now emerging. Species are fighting for control of land to win the war. Will the werewolves, vampires, Fae, what little humans are left, and the others stand together against the demons? Or will old wounds still burn deeply? Only time will tell.

It is a world where human numbers are dwindling after six great demons assert themselves in the human realm to end wars between the creatures of the night and the numbers of many different species have dropped as drastically as the human population. With the world in ruins, will the species combine together to defeat the demons, or will the demons crush them regardless?
