Unlike others of his race he has no ability to manipulate weather pasterns or the elements, though he is still in touch with them. However he is more advanced than most on the shape shifting point being able to turn into every animal on earth without having to turn back. He can also turn into mythological beast though this tires him and he can only sustain it for up to an hour. He can also understand and commune wit h animals.

He carries few things as he likes to travel fast and light but there are a few things he always takes with him. A personal Crucifix and a larger one to ward of creatures of the night. He used to carry holy water before he was ordained as a priest.
Appearance:
In his human for he appears as an old man, aged approximately seventy, he has also developed arthritics in his human form unlike animal form which has grown in power over the years. His hair is a light Grey color and falls to his shoulders. It is thinning and is often tattered and messy. He also styles a Grey beard In his human and which has the same attributes as his hair. His eyes are white and when he meets a human they often believe him to be blind. He has many wrinkles and is very slow in his human form.
Personality:
In his human form he appears to be a kindly old harmless gentleman and he is quite happy with that and he plays on it as much as he can, however this is all in fun, he often jokes to calm the mood and the tension in the room so everyone is prepared for what is to come. He is wise and knows allot about Mythology, Zoology and creatures of the night. He likes to pass his knowledge onto the next generation of slayers so when he dies there will be someone who can continue his line. He is a nomadic man going where ever the wind takes him, literally as his favorite form is a golden eagle.
However much he jokes he is always focused on the goal ahead. When ever something needs to be done you can count on him to do it and he will not stop until he has accomplished his goal. He is proud of his gifts and likes to show other shifters they do not have to hide in the shadows and try to have a normal life as one of protection and harmony with nature is so much better.
However cool and cam he is if he gets angry get out of the way, He often turns into Dragons and Griffins when he loses control and when he is angry he loses all sense of humanity and becomes a bloodthirsty monster going after friend or foe.

History:
He was born in London, born Ryan Digell, His parents were both rich people and he was brought up in luxury and style. They each owned large businesses and they groomed their son to take over them when they finally died. He enjoyed there little lessons and soon had quite a business mind and was raring to go. He also began to listen to classical music and got interested in history. And where history is concerned so is mythology. He became transfixed with ancient Greece and Rome. But his life would change completely when he turned 13.
On his 13 birthday he experienced a change. He had no idea what was going on and everything was new. He could hear and understand animals. He wen to a priest who called him the devil and got the locals to run him out of the city. Now he was alone able to talk to animals. They saved his life. They brought him food and showed him the best way to go. And soon after his 14 birthday he was able to turn into animals. He traveled across the country as a beautiful white horse. But his life would change forever in Birmingham. He was walking the streets and heard a yell. He ran and saw a man over a woman's body, his first thought was rape. Immediately he turned into a lion and attacked him. He scratched the mans back but ask he did was ran at tremendous speeds.
He inspected the woman and he found to small bite marks on her neck. His eyes widened in fear as he saw it. It could not be a vampire. His mind raced. He can turn into animals what is so strange about vampires. He ran leaving the woman who was already dead. He went to the local library and found newspaper reports. Animal Attacks Strike Again: It seemed it was not the first time it had happened. He had no idea what to do. He had read about vampires in his mythology books but a real life, or should that be dead, Nosferatu. He was scared. He ran to a local church and confessed. After which he left the city never to return. When he came of age he joined the priest hood. He got in contact with others who believed what he said and they trained together. However he never told them about his secret,
He fell in love and soon married. His wife did not believe him and thought he was crazy but her love for him prevailed. The day before their marriage Ryan went to his church to make sure everything was in shape. Meanwhile at the house a poor old man came to the door and asked fr entrance being the woman she was she let him in. However he was a vampire and attacked her, turned her. When he returned he saw the vampire over her. In his rage he transformed into a Dragon. He lost his humanity and wen after the vampire. In such a new form he had no idea how to do anything so he escaped.
From then on he dedicated his life to traing until he met the vampire again. He did. He turned into the Dragon he did almost forty years ago. He was sixty now and far more powerful than before. He flew at the vampire and the vampire flew at him. They fought in the air until the vampire was defeated. He had him. A claw at his chest. Then all of a sudden a young beautiful woman shows up. It was his wife. She had not aged a day. He fell back in shock. But before he escaped he bit the vampires head off. His former wife attacked him. He did not fight. But the sun rose and she died in his arms. He then took the name Sarke
