It had been quite a lazy few days. Her master, Mr. Lucius Erif, seemed to have business keeping him busy and thus Brooke found herself searching for something to do. Places to go. Things to see. Someone in the Plaza recommended the beaches in the area- the sweltering heat outside making it hard for the air conditioners to keep up inside of the building, so she decided to take their advice. Lucius trusted her with some freedoms, and she could not find him to ask permission, and thus she felt there would be no harm in getting a few rays.
The beach was beautiful. The sand was hot. It was early evening, the sun still having several hours before it would fully set, and thus the slender slave decided it would be a perfect time to catch up on her reading while she waited for the sun to set. Having purchased a new bikini for the day, she walked down the beach for nearly an hour. The waves lapped at the shore, licking at the sand and dampening her toes while she explored for a private area to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. It took her a while, escaping the loud laughter of families enjoying the public beach, to find the small location but she was overjoyed when she laid eyes on it.
Rocks jutted to the heavens on either side, and the small cove was peaceful, quiet. It looked as though perhaps even the swimming would be enjoyable, but she would wait until the setting of the sun to enjoy the crisp waters. Brooke unraveled the blanket she had taken with her, laying it down upon the warm sand before stretching out on her stomach, book in hand. The water crashed against the rocks, the birds squealed, and.. it was heavenly. She drifted in to the plot line of her novel, relishing in the scenery she had come across.
