Spoilers...
Orion's Daughter - Charlotte was taken by a Dark Angel named Rahab who happens to be his wife Suriel's brother.
Suriel unbeknown to Orion was a White Angel, renown for her healing powers.
Both Suriel and Charlotte are alive though Suriel remembers nothing of her life with Orion or the fact that she has a daughter named Charlotte.
Charlotte now works for Rahab, doing his bidding as she too is a creature of the night... albeit an awkward one.
Suriel does as she did in the past, she works in the hospital healing the sick and dying. Though her name is now Lilly to the mortals...
Suriel was able to hide her true form from Orion and the rest of the world with a white cloak that her daughter now owns. As she currently does not know who she is all her powers and magic are null and void until she can be reawakened.
Orion's Parents were well known and respected in the vampire community, as good as royalty but without the title as Lord and Lady of their little town.
When Orion first met Suriel, he was badly injured, near death and the Angel healed him. He then returned the favor sometime later.
Both Suriel's Family and Orion's forbid them to be together, Humans and Vampires weren't meant to be together and Angels were definitely not supposed to covert with their charges. Disobeying these wishes, they ran away and started a family all their own and until Suriel's death Orion felt it had been for the best.
Their daughter Charlotte was named after Orion's mother who died along with his father when he was only 8, Orion was then looked after by a guardian and several trustworthy members of his fathers Counsel.
