NightMares Gate
War has shattered the world of Tarasoul as the inhabitants knew it, divided into four armies. the north, the south, the east, and the west. The humans rose to power after the anthros were defeated. but their greed and lust for power called out the deeper foes. Demise, the dragon of Ragnarok, and his rider rose and darkened the skies beneath their massive wings. beneath the dragons black fire the world that had risen into triumph and magnificence, died in a day on the breath of death’s wind. with his rebirth Demise brought forth the wells, the gateways to the spirit realms. five in total, one in each of the shattered divisions of Tarasoul and one hidden where none could find it. the rise of the portals gave birth to the dark ages, as demons rose and ran free over the lands. demise soon returned to his slumber, taking three of the wells with him. the rise of demons subsided, but the darkness still remained
hundreds of years after the war Tarasoul remains shattered and under the plague of demons’ darkness. some have risen to fight back the dark as demon slayers, calling on the powers of light to banish them. Angels have been summoned as well to push back the darkness, the gateway to the heavens open both ways. with the world in chaos, the boundaries between light and darkness shattered, and the portals to the spirit realms left open, few though it could be worse. but they are wrong. the final portal, the Nightmare Gate, the entrance to hell itself was found... the Nightmare Gate has been opened.
