Appearance: Hekate seems normal from a distance, but when someone gets up close, she seems completely different. Her skin isn't pale but a light creamy look. Her hair is dark brown and with streaks of white. Her body looks slim and tiny, but her muscles are well toned
and very flexible and agile. Her eyes though are a teal blue, bright and piercing. They'll change to black when she's hungry, angry, or "in the mood". Her make-up consists of mostly eyeliner and eye shadow, with occasionally some lipstick.
Her apparel resembles the dark rebel/rock look. Ripped jeans, dark and slightly revealing tops, black boots. You name it, she most likely wears it. She sometimes pulls the gypsy look too. Flowy skirts, corset tops, but she still wears her black boots. Stiletto, what's a girl to do? When she's out to party, you may see her mixing up the looks. She never wears anything too tight because it constrains her movement. One of her favorite things to wear is her pair of leather hand gloves. The finger tips are cut off, and the both bear a symbol of a pentacle.
Over all, she looks dark and sexy.
Personality: Hekate likes to hold up the tough, bad chick look. She's stubborn, rude (not entirely rude. she's just... honest.), only gives respect to those who deserve it, and will bust anyone's *ss if she has to. Never starts fights, but boy will she finish them.
Hekate knows she's a special kind of person, but she wishes other wise. Because she's also a witch, vampires are always attracted to her blood. She always defensive and uncomfortable around vampires. She feels a little more comfortable around humans, but they love to gawk at her too much. She wishes she could connect to her mother's side of the family, but her mother cut family ties a long time ago.
She mingles with various people, but she fears to make a connection. All those to whom she was attached to has either died, or betrayed her in some way. Thus, making intimate relationships very difficult to come by.Now, not to think her a harlot, but she does have one-night stands. They're enjoyable, and that's how she usually gets her feeding. She does make friends though, and they're really lucky because Hekate protects all her friends. Just don't bother asking for her BFFs b/c she has none.
Hekate doesn't kill humans. She absolutely apposes it since she was deeply connected to her mother. Only when she's ravenous, and fears she's losing control, she'll go and find a murderer or rapist and drain them dry. But it's very, very rare. Occasionally, she feeds from animals, but wild ones, not pets.
On the inside, Hekate is actually very caring and good. She doesn't like to show it though, because she's worried it will make her seem weaker. Proof of her good side is the protection of human lives. Now, she isn't a huntress, but if she ever comes across a vampire or any other bloodsucker draining a human, she will stop them by any means necessary.
Her empathy gets in the way of her isolation. When around others, she can sense their feelings and emotions, both physical and emotional. Time to time, she'll consult people and aid them, but only because the feelings can become so unbearable.

History: Hekate was born an only child. Her mother lived all alone, and cut her ties from her family when she ran away. Growing up, her mother explained to Hekate the special situation. She knew that she was a witch immediately, and her mother didn't tell her that she was half vampire right away, because she believed that Hekate might not have to drink blood. But soon enough, after attacking a kid at school, her mother told the truth of Hekate's father.
Since then, Hekate taught herself to not become fully involved with other humans. Because of her attack, other kids stayed away from her after that, making her an outcast. Her mother never rejected her daughter though. She even occasionally let Hekate feed from her, and also took her to the woods to hunt.
One night though, when Hekate was thirteen, they were on their way home. A group of vampires came and ambushed them. Hekate's mother told her to run and never stop until either she says so, or till the sun rises. That was the last time she ever heard her mother's voice. When dawn approached, and Hekate saw those array of colors in the sky, she knew she was alone.
Since then, she's been by herself. She learned how to raise and take care of herself. Time to time, she'll stop and help others, but Hekate always feels the urge to keep moving. She wonders if she'll ever find a reason to stop.

- Because her mother was a witch, she wields certain powers. Telekinesis, empathy, and shadow shift (this power is a mix of her witch side, along with her vampire side. She's able to blend in with shadows. Almost like a dark ghost. No one can touch her, but she can't touch anything in return.)
