She can also shift into an owl and a field mouse but it requires more concentration and she can only hold the animal for fifteen minutes or so before becoming exhausted. She also has the power to muster up the extreme joy to clear up a night sky and create beautiful daylight, even if for a few seconds. This is vital, of course, if she is threatened by a vampire. She is still trying to control her other emotions, its very inconvenient having it rain each time she cries.

Weapon(s):Aniria’s favorite weapon is her ivory-handle dagger. Its small but deadly. She usually hides it under her dress or somewhere closer to her hand when she knows she’ll have to use it. For long range she has a good hand with throwing stars, shaped like flowers for aesthetic value of course. They turn a nice red color when in use.
Accessories:Ani always wears a necklace with a little ball as a charm. What no one sees is the poison that’s inside. When necessary, Ani dips her dagger in the liquid to cause a slower, more painful death. She also never leaves without her tigers-eye (the stone) earrings for wisdom and concentration.
Appearance: Aniria is comfortable in her own skin and its not a secret. She can be described as wild and sensual rather than beautiful because beautiful is a word that’s too ordinary. Her hair is long and honey-nut blond. It seems as if there is a constant sunny glow all around her because she has a spiritual connection with sunshine, its when she feels most powerful. Her body is balanced, not too curvy and not teenage-boy-esque. She usually wears flowing garments that wrap around her body and are easy to remove when she shifts. She generally hates shoes, but when going barefoot is not a good idea she wears stiletto boots; might as well bring extra weapons.
Her features came from her platinum-blond Slavic mother and Italian father. Her parents always wondered how her hair is so blond when she should have her fathers dominant dark coloring. Ani's most dominant feature is her eyes, which carries over to her animals. Her three animals have the same color eyes as Ani and generally a pale-blonde coloring. The owl is white and yellow, and the mouse is also a pale color, and the lioness' pelt matches Ani's hair and eye coloring exactly.
Personality: Aniria is generally smiling. She finds joy in little things, even in difficult times, which makes her sought out by men and women just to get a piece of that kind of happiness. She’s quick to forgive but follows the “fool me once.” rule. The last place you want to be is on Ani’s enemy list, as she has no qualms about slow torture, mental and physical. She is spontaneous and often has mood-swings; very inconvenient considering she’s a shapeshifter. She loves many but gives her heart to no one. When gives herself to a lover it’s completely, but never for long. She either gets bored or too involved, neither of which she considers healthy.
When Ani is upset, in order to control the storm she completely closes off. She literally closes her eyes and stands there in stillness until she takes control of herself. When she's sad she just becomes the owl and flies to a place of solitude where she wouldn't disrupt anyone or anything.
As far as her attitude towards other races, the only race she despises are vampires. There are a few others that grind her gears, such as dark angels and demons, but she does not harbor hatred for them as she does for vampires.
The war makes her angry for one simple reason; its disruptive to the natural order of things, and its violent. She dislikes it but she refuses to get involved with it. Her profession puts her in an awkward position but its a choice she makes when she stands back and lets things happen. She knows it would take great skill for someone to actually capture her into slavery, so its not a worry for her. If a creature of any race helps her find the vampire that killer her father she will do anything, whether its for the cause or against the cause. You could say she is a rogue of sorts.

Unlike her peers, who preferred to play video games indoors Ani wanted to stay outdoors, climbing trees or weaving sticks into her hair (her mother didn’t appreciate getting them out later). It’s where she always felt the most joy; sometimes her mother had to drag her in to eat dinner.
Her father was an expert jewelry-maker, which got Ani interested in working with metals. But while her father wanted to make pretty things, Ani wanted to make things that were useful, and lethal. She began working with metals when she was ten, a young age for such a dangerous profession. At first her father would only allow her to do small projects, but because she had a true talent and love for it he just gave in.
She was thirteen when she first discovered she was a shape shifter. Her father was murdered by a vampire for reasons she still doesn’t know about, and for a week after that incident she and the skies cried. Ani wanted to escape, to crawl out of her body and mourn in peace somewhere. She didn’t realize how bad she wanted it until she began running; she kept running without pause and soon enough she noticed she was on all fours, had a tail, and hair everywhere. To put it lightly she was scared shitless, but at the same time it was the first time she felt completion.
After this incident her mother revealed everything to her. Both her mother and father were shapeshifters. They have decided to live as humans because it was safer and more convenient but knew at some point Ani would discover her talents.
Ani eventually got over her fathers death and continued to discover more of her talents; catch up if you will. But in the back of her mind she always searches for the vampire that killed him, and has promised herself she will give the bloodsucker a slow and painful death in her fathers honor.
