CECILIA SINCLAIR
CLOSE YOUR EYES, CLEAR YOUR HEART;
CUT THE CORD
TWO - THREE - FOUR - FIVE - SIX

GRAVITY, RELEASE ME
or forever hold me down.
general information;;
CALL ME Cecilia Love Sinclair.
OR Celia will do. (Unless I don’t like you.)
I AM 100% female.
I’M INTERESTED IN the opposite sex - though I admire those who brave the world outside the "hetero-box."
I’M OLD. 450-some, to be exact, though I don’t look a day older than 27.
I’M TALL. Six feet, two inches, to be precise.
I SEEM FRAGILE. I’m no heavier than 120-130-some pounds. That isn’t very much to work with when you’ve got six feet of woman to cover. Still - looks can be deceiving.
EVERY GUN YOU EVER HELD WENT OFF
and i’m just waiting till the firing stops.

MY KIND ARE KNOWN AS Shapeshifters; those who take the forms of many of the world’s glorious creatures. However - for whatever reason, my transformations differ greatly from others.
OCCUPATION ≥ Special Agent, specializing in psychology, intelligence extraction, sabotage – espionage, in short.
WEAPONS ≥ In terms of firearms, a Springfield PC911, or a Glock 22 will do. The occasional switchblade, lead pipe, or a simple roundhouse kick also comes in handy. The mind is a fabulous weapon, too. The body is a weapon in more ways than one.
ACCESSORIES -
→ Her dog, a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Samson. He’s the only animal Celia is able to communicate with telepathically. (Interestingly enough, Ridgebacks were originally bred to hunt lions.)
→ A cell phone – Blackberry, naturally.
→ An Ipod.
→ Gloves of various colors - matched to whatever she's wearing, no doubt.
→ She almost always has some sort of caffeine or sugar within an arm’s reach.[/ul]
POWERS/ABILITIES -
→ Atmokinesis. Emotions occasionally impact the weather when at their high-points.
→ An almost impeccable aim (with strikes, firearms, throws, etc.) She, despite her appearance, is a remarkably skilled combatant, noted for said precision, as well as her agility, flexibility, and swiftness.
→ Direct eye contact with Cecilia can cause a lightweight form of hypnosis. It forcefully relaxes the body and calms the mind, but does nothing more than instill upon one a gentle euphoria. It makes speaking openly effortless; time passes slowly and blissfully, marking each second as carefree. One usually only realizes what has happened after the locked gaze is broken - leaving many a dark secret spilled beforehand.
→ Channeling Ability. Cecilia has a unique gift in that she is able to take the thoughts, emotions, memories, energy – almost anything – from one being and transfer it to another. The ability, while relatively undefined, works under the principle that if Cecilia touches two things, she is essentially a conductor, or a transmitter between the two, choosing what she wishes to exchange in either direction. She can heal, or injure, take, or give. The extent of the functionality of this ability varies, however; exchanges must always be equal, and it is not meant for one-on-one channeling, though it can be used for such in certain circumstances.
→ Heals somewhat rapidly from all but serious injury; healing is augmented by her channeling ability, as she draws small amounts of energy from her surrounding atmosphere when her energy is notably depleted.
→ Biokenises. "The use of kinetic energy to rearrange, or control genes inside of the body." As somewhat of a black sheep amongst the shape-shifters, Cecilia’s powers are more psychically inclined than they are nature-oriented. Branching from her channeling ability comes Cecilia’s somewhat altered shape-shifting gift: she is able to use that same touch in order to change her form to copy the appearance of another human. All the information regarding one’s body and mind is essentially absorbed with a touch; she knows much of a persons mannerisms and daily routines, their past - even their powers. Her mastery of another's gifts undoubtedly varies; she finds the greatest difficulty in using those whose powers involve animal transformations. However, so long as she remains in another's physical form, the capability exists. Once she touches someone, it is possible that she could take their form for life - with some limits. She cannot maintain another's form while unconscious, and she must be in control of her physical form at all times (meaning, any disruption of her mental/physical state would be problematic). An extended transformation (or multiple transformations in a row) can be extremely taxing, and it can become very difficult to transform into someone she originally touched or changed into long ago.

SO HE WROTE IT ON A WALL
"the hollowest of halos is no halo at all."
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES:
→ Cecilia has a light British accent, compliments of her original place of birth. It's more distinct when she's angry.
→ She has two notable scars: the first, clean and straight, runs in a fine line from the below her throat to just above the belly button. It is the sole evidence of an incident in the distant past where she was nearly cleaved in two – protecting her last long-term partner. In addition, she has a simple mark in the form of a distorted ‘T’ upon her left shoulder, no more than three inches in size either direction, from an incident in which a man made an attempt on her life while she was asleep. She woke up just in time to dodge so that his blow did not strike her heart.
→ Her eyes. Yes, everyone has eyes – hers possess a certain power of intrigue to them that most others do not. They reveal a great deal, and yet, hold more secrets than any tongue...
APPEARANCE:
A woman of professionalism and beauty; though Cecilia is far from vain, she knows how to make herself presentable. Her hair is one of her body’s more luxurious attractions, though it is most often found clipped or pulled back (for practicality’s sake, no doubt). The tresses take on a rich chocolate coloring, each spun into a devious curl late on the journey to the tip. The longest of the silken tendrils reach to just below the shoulder blade, while shorter, fringed, bangsy layers frame the gentle curve of her face. Apart from the rainy days that initiate frizz, Cecilia’s locks generally have a glossy, tamed disposition, dressed in a touch of tousled disarray – just enough to give her an air of tactful carelessness.
Her countenance itself is relatively oval in shape, marked by gently angled eyebrows, high cheekbones, and a meaningful, disturbingly powerful gaze. The woman’s complexion is incredibly smooth, void of most all blemishes and happily wrinkle-free. Resting in a frame of long, thick lashes, her eyes are of a bold and striking nature. Irises hold the purest cyan, a robin egg blue, masked with an unreadable intensity that isn’t difficult to fall into - even when one is uncertain into what, exactly, they’re falling.
Behind soft, full, petal-pink lips, Cecilia keeps two rows of straight, gleaming teeth, as well as the skillful tongue which forms the words that make her a clever seductress when the need arises. Most everything about this woman is practiced; that being said, her usual grin is kind and unassuming, benevolent, if not entirely earnest or genuine. Only when one deals with Cecilia on a personal level does this particular expression burst into full bloom – a brilliant white smile, characterized by its blissfulness and, above all, its sincerity. It is, perhaps, one of her more captivating attributes – most especially when accompanied by her trademark, musical laugh. Cecilia takes pride in the effect that this duo of smile-and-laugh has on most people. The pair doesn’t particularly intrigue so much as it heals through its contagiousness.
The woman’s figure is that which many would call desirable; she has the potential to reach great heights through the use of this natural advantage alone, and yet, Cecilia generally avoids this method of persuasion. She is indeed blessed with a modestly curvaceous figure, complimented by a lithe body structure, which she keeps in check through rigorous exercise and habitual running. Lissome limbs and slender, supple musculature are the result of her pristine physical condition. Her skin tone is warm and varying depending on the time of year and touched by a gentle radiant sheen, velvety to the touch. Her form is marked here and there by small white scars, the only remaining evidence of a past filled with battles and blood - aside from the distinct scar which trails down her chest. She towers over most females naturally, having no need for heels, and carries herself on long, forceful legs with a certain air of confidence that, for the weaker of heart, is no better than intimidating. She is a woman of unfortunately expensive tastes in clothing (among everything else), and is rarely found out and about in anything but labels of a famous nature. Even so, Celia wouldn’t mind a spending a day in sweatpants and the t-shirt of some long-lost boyfriend. Comfort has to outweigh vanity every once and a while. The only problem lies in the fact that she would do such a thing on a day off –
Something she has none of.
PERSONALITY:
Cecilia Sinclair is, in short, a whirlwind trapped in flesh. Oh yes – it’s true. Skeptical? Perhaps you should ask someone who knows her a little better. One often assumes that the woman is all business – what, with her collected manner on duty, her dedication to the force.
Sufficed to say, Mr. One is not the person to ask.
One could mistake Cecilia’s demanding nature as high-maintenance, woman-type behavior, but alas, he would be dead wrong. Yes, she’s stubborn, as headstrong as a ram, and more trying than one would believe; however, it’s not others that Cecilia demands more from. She’s not interested enough in the lives of others to actually ask anything of them. The woman is indeed famous for her ability to go it on her own, almost above all else. Her standards are always just so nearly out of reach that, if she’s lucky, the fingernail of her middle finger will touch said standard. So long as she jumps for it. From a rope swing hanging off a thousand-foot cliff.
It’s a damn good thing she’s not a gym teacher.
Cecilia is the epitome of independent, doing as she pleases, usually within the well-marked boundary lines of society. There’s a foul shot made, here and there, but she’s no law-breaker. And she certainly isn’t your stereotypical lady; call the Incredible Hulk a housewife before you dare throw the term your way. She’ll throw it right back, with a note and a wad of C4. What will the note say? ”Boom.” And that will be that.
Very few people have so great a thirst for danger as the deceivingly young-looking lady; it’s threatened to kill her on many an account; and yet, her addiction to the adrenaline has her coming back for more. She is a slave to Suspense, the mistress of Mystery, the one-night-stand of Risk. Yes, you could say she’s a whore in her line of work. After all, she’s in a different dangerous situation every day. She rarely visits the same one twice. It's lucky for her most perils don't carry diseases.
She doesn’t look feisty upon first-glance; Celia purposely keeps a casual air about her. Aloof and put-together – that is, until you get on her nerves, which isn’t hard to do. Cecilia is far more easily brought to a boil than one would believe – sometimes, it takes only minutes – seconds – if you say the right (or, really, wrong) thing. All the same, her anger isn’t necessarily dangerous. Unless you’re afraid of humiliation. With Cecilia, in any circumstance, payback is guaranteed. She’ll only hold a grudge until she get’s her revenge. Then, you’re home free.
One can be sure that the woman is confident, if a little prideful in her ways. She doesn’t gloat, but she strives to achieve. Always. And she doesn’t like to deal out credit to anyone else – not that she wouldn’t appreciate it if someone saved her life. She just doesn’t particularly enjoy owing anything. To anyone. Especially not a whole life. Jesus.
For as sarcastic and belligerent as Cecilia can be towards some, she is the complete opposite towards others. Indeed, there are many layers to the woman - some more tender and loveable than others. She is more often considered by others to be a sophisticated, yet spontaneous and fun-loving person. She remans so until her coat is brushed the wrong way, or her buttons are pushed all at the same time. Celia is surprisingly profound in her thinking, finding intrigue in both the beautiful and the sinister, fascination in both the virtuous and the corrupt. As a friend, she is devoted and playful; a very light-hearted soul when there are few cares to weigh. Those close to Celia can certainly vouch for her compassionate side. She has a soft spot for cute things, a certain love for the innocence in people (especially when you don't expect it). It doesn’t take much for her to sacrifice something for another, so long as she feels they deserve it.
Cecilia has been noted as being very opinionated more than once. More than ten times, even. It wouldn’t be surprising if a hundred different people said they noticed it about her. It’s elementary fact that she says what she thinks, though it’s somewhat unintentional. Discretion on other fields is a master art of hers, however. As a spy she’s skillful and manipulative, persuasive and convincing. She doesn’t make a habit of lying outside of the job, but as ‘the job’ consumes 99.5% of her life, she’s a practice fibber. Because she has seen the devastating (intended) impact that her own most convincing lies sometimes have, Cecilia has greater difficulty trusting others than most – more than difficulty, really. For the same reason, she tries to tell the whole truth to those whom have touched her heart, no matter how painful it may be. She is guarded, and very cautious; a truly private creature who gives into her sensitivity and vulnerability for only one reason: love. And when she loves someone and truly lets them in, they have complete and unconditional control over her entire world.
APPEALING CHARACTERISTICS:
→ optimistic (if also somewhat of a part-time cynic).

→ confident, and surprisingly fun-loving for her line of work.
→ has an exceptional poker face.
→ fiercely loyal.

→ her laugh is completely and unconditionally contagious, if also rare.

→ skilled in nearly all areas of combat; strategic and calculated in her thinking.
→ has developed her powers well.
→ does not indulge her fears with hesitancy.
WEAKNESSES:
→ sweet tooth.
→ cute things.
→ opinionated.
→ has a hard time admitting when she cares for someone, though she’ll do anything for them – so long as the effort is disguised.
→ her cooperation skills, at times, are very, very poor.
→ controlling her emotions – of her shape-shifting brethren, Cecilia has some of the greatest difficulty aligning herself with nature. As she is in a state of disharmony with nature, the effects that nature and her rampant emotions have upon one another are relatively unpredictable. Her surroundings do not necessarily coincide with her emotions, which leaves everyone guessing what the outcome might be.
→ Cecilia has fortified her mind into its own stronghold; she has proven to be extremely resilient to psychic attacks in the past – the only problem arises from her channeling ability’s affect on her body. While she is normally able to maintain control, if one were to make contact with her unexpectedly {direct, skin-on-skin contact}, she would have little say in what they initially felt or discovered within her mind. Depending on how quickly they were able to delve into her thoughts, she may or may not be capable of raising much-needed mental walls to protect her.
