felix delos;;
Her sobs didn't stop, even as she told herself to shut up mentally, cursing under her breath. They had all disappeared, one way or another. Lucian had gone, her half-demon lover and slave. The house had been ransacked when she got home, blood splattering the walls and such, right after she made a deal with Hiro. The werewolf had shaken with rage, transforming even without the full moon for the first time in her life. Those who had gotten in her way on that bloody night, underneath the red full moon had not survived. When the woman had finally calmed down and transformed back, it was then that Felix had decided to go back to Rufiel’s place. That proved worthless, for that was abandoned as well, not a trace of him save for his scent and what belongings he had left. The petite werewolf had managed to stumble out of that building, shaking terribly. When she had returned back to her now torn-up apartment building, she managed to salvage her weapons and some antidotes, snatching the collar that Lucian had worn when he was a slave, wearing the strip of black material on her wrist now, folded over to make a bracelet. It was her only thing that she had kept of him that was truly his. Felix was mourning the fall of her two comrades at arms, for everyone seemed to now be at war. Without those two, she was lonely, morbidly and lethally so.
And to make things worse, she had stumbled into the treacherous wood, without so much as a flashlight to help her out. It was terribly dark, the Obsidian Forest. And there were things moving around, getting nearer to the werewolf. Felix couldn’t pin what they were down; it was close to the new moon, meaning that she would be close to human strength and senses. “I’m an idiot,” she murmured to herself, getting up and shaking her red hair out. She was barely even clothed, her tank top torn in places, shorts shredded badly. Her heavy tanker boots, on the other hand, had taken little if no damage at all. They came up to just under her knees, laces green like her eyes. Her body, in turn, was nice and bloody from her own injuries, and the blood of those she had slain. “Alright.. Let’s get this over with. Come out, little kitty..”

He was hardly little or a kitty for that matter quite the opposite really. He looked more like a dragon-man then anything, his tough lizard like hide resembled nothing of the soft down fur that kittens had. Alias hopped down from the tree that he had crouching on; his long hazel trench coat wavered around him as he landed he stood there not bothering to hide himself in the shadows as he usually did when he encounter a new soul. He had been jumping from one tree to another heading deeper into the dark woods to where it was cooler than the hot city. He had been till he had been stopped in mid tree hopping.
He had notice the girl earlier but had paid her little mind as currently his health was the main issue it was getting to hot he was alright for now but anything more and he would become immobile and that was something he didn't need at the moment. Alias glanced at the girl would stood a few away from him, only then did he notice his mistake.
She was covered in blood some which he could smell was not hers, not to mention that she looked like she had been in a recent fight as her cloths were tattered and torn. Alias growled in disapproval he could tell she was someone not to get involved with. He decided to say nothing turning away from her his tail swishing the dried up leaves underneath it. The amber spikes glowing slightly in the lack of light. One hand on the tree as he ready himself to climb it again.

The woman snarled as he neared, feral and inhuman, reaching for her gun, hand just barely on it, ready to draw it. Her snarl was a fearsome one, even though the full moon was close to a month away, for that animal inside her came out even when she didn't want it to. Felix kept her eyes fixed on where she had heard the noise, the sound of claws scraping against bark. Her nose and mind couldn't detect what species he was; definitely not human, nor vampire.. reptilian, almost. Not a shifter, but maybe.. half? Either way, her emearld green eyes dodn't leave his form. Tentively, her mind opened, trying to do a scan on him. It was a small thing that she could do, but Felix found it useful. However, as she reached to pull the gun out of its holster, she hissed, for that had been the arm Kayen Storm had shot her with, three silver nitrate bullets, leaving some hard damage there. Rufiel had helped to patch her up.
"Talk, my little kitty," she murmured, aiming the gun at him, loaded already and the safety off with a small 'click'. Though she had a nice gist of where his body was, and could parcially see Alias, the weapon was not trained on where his vitals were. The werewolf felt as though she had done enough killing the way it was in the past few weeks of her life, and did not intend to kill the man unless he made to do so to her first. "C'mon."

Alias sighed deeply at the sound of a gun being loaded, drawling his hand from the tree slowly he turn to met her icy emerald gaze with one of own dark amber ones. Stepping out of the shadows completely his tail swishing slowly from side to side. Alias glared from behind his long white bangs not likely the idea of being held at gun point.
He began to stalk towards her, letting her take in every aspect of his body as he was a little of everything but completely nothing. His skin rippled as he moved his hind legs walking on his toes more than the rest of his foot. He looked over her his height far getter than her's but were did it say that size matters?
He stared at the gun, giving a pouty frown. Displeased that she had called him a kitty again. He now stood at a comfortable arms length from her, he was not bother to much by the gun and simply went back to staring at her, rather intently. "Why would I need to talk to you?"

She dropped the gun's aim, though it was still loaded, and her finger was on the trigger. Felix didn't like Alias, nor the look he gave her, but he had made no move to harm her. It was against her instincts, along with her normal nature, to lower her gaurd like that. But then again, she could easily shoot him dead in a second flat. Nothing to worry about, for her.
The proximity of the lizard-man made the werewolf almost recoil. The hairs on the nape of her neck were standing on end, and Felix was bristling at him, a low growl coming from her throat. It was a warning again, but this time, she was well-prepared. "Sorry.. Nevermind, I guess. You aren't against me, are you?" She laughed at herself. "What a stupid question to ask. Sorry, kitten, I just.. I feel a bit out of it. Forgive me for being so rude." Her green eyes took in his form, yet Felix did not judge him. After all, he was probably a better person than she was. This werewolf had murdered more than she cared to count, and never really.. regretted it. That was probably the worst part. She had only regretted so after she woke with blood on her mouth and in her nails. "You don't have to talk to me.. I'm just being paranoid."

Alias nodded. "You are forgiven..." He was now standing in a rare pool of sun and it was beginning to agitate him. He shifted uncomfortably backing up quickly into the shade. He felt a sudden need to strike a conversation, confused as to why he merely shook it off as nothing.
He stood there feeling rather awkward, then he took notice to her cloths that were pretty much in shambles. Feeling his nagging sense of gentleman's curtsy coming on he did his best to hold it back but blurted out. "Are you not cold miss?" Not only that she needed a bath...though saying that would have been rude.
"Do you need any help?"...What was he doing!? He never offered help to a complete stranger let alone one that carried a gun yet here he was acting up on old habits that had been drilled into his hand since childbirth rules that were clear and that was never to leave a lady in trouble no matter how dangerous and anger they may be.

Bright emerald eyes watched him retreat, and she commented on it in her mind, not aloud, fully realizing that Alias needed to keep his body cool. One of her hands reached down to her stomach after the gun was back in its correct holster, feeling the sticky blood of a new wound. These would take a while to heal, seeing as the werewolf in her that enabled such injuries to heal faster was buried further beneath the surface than usual, as the full moon wasn't too near. "Thank you," Felix murmured, turning away from him slightly after wiping the blood on her camisole. And then, she laughed at his next words, a burst of hysterial laughter that came after one qhadn't laughed in a while and found such a question hilarious. After she had recovered herself, the werewolf offered a rare smile, before that disappeared. However, Felix's good mood was there, slightly. "Ah, no.. I'm fine. My temperature is about.. lemme think.. a nice 104, maybe. Thanks, anyway." And then, an offer of extended help. Felix looked at the lizard-man, eyes meeting his own, not looking away. "Why would you help me?" The words were spoken quietly, and the werewolf refused to look away. It was not something she was used to, seeing as the werewolf had secluded herself for so long. Lucian didn't even ask to help her, he just gave it. That thought made her put her hand to her mouth and bite it, forcing the tears to receed. The remeberance of her love, her one and only truth in the world gone missing, God knows what happening to him, made the femme tremble. Pulling herself together, the werewolf met his eyes again. "I don't want nor need any h-help."

Now Alias knew when a woman denied help it meant that they needed help they just didn't want it. Alias had heard the shakiness in her voice but he didn't say anything. Now usually Alias would have shrugged and moved on he would maybe even have made a sly comment but for some reason he didn't.
No instead he he just stood there, taking in her fiery red hair and piercing emerald eyes. Not quite understanding her sudden defense's he merely back away further sulking back into the shadows. He gave a small bow in respect before climbing back up the tree stopping up half way he look back down at her. "If you change your mind, I'll be further in near the large willow tree."
With that Alias took of climbing from tree to tree skillfully till he could no longer see the lady. By the time he got to the tree the sun had sunk into the hottest point in the day and Alias was feeling it. Leaning against the willow tree letting the vines shade him from the sun. He sat down sighing deeply letting the coolness seep in as sleep found him.

She watched him leave, almost in silence. Her emerald eyes did not look away from the unnamed lizard-man; it surprised her that he would just walk away from the woman like that. Usually, despite her fierce attitude and looks, Felix was assumed a gentle and weak person. The cuts and scars on her body must have told this man otherwise, for he soon disappeared from sight. It took Felix a minute or two, but she followed him, mainly by scent. The werewolf was almost anxious to see company again, almost a bit over-eager, in some aspects. “Hey! Hey!” she called out when she found him, her weapons not left behind, hidden somewhere on her body as well. Only until he had awoken di Felix continue on. “What’s your name?” The werewolf felt bad for not even asking before; it was improper manners, and the werewolf didn’t want to be like that, not after his kindness.
“I’m Felix Delos, by the way,” she said, smiling a bit. “But you can call me Lady Luck.” That too was something that caused memories to overflow, like a river let loose from a dam. “Sorry about before.. That was, er.. A sensitive topic.” It was rare for her to admit her mistake, but she look away, in a sort of apologetic way.

Alias gave a small groan, opening his eyes only to see a clump of fiery hair. He blinked finally realizing that it was the lady for before. Standing up as he was hit with a barrel of questions. He backed up a little not sure if telling his name was a good thing but when she offered hers he could only oblige by saying his.
"I'm Alias Demento." He gave a bow as he took in her name. "Felix Delos...Some people say people are as interesting as there name." He left out that he found her interesting for his own benefit. He lifted an eyebrow at her nick name though a hint of amusment in his voice. "Lady Luck huh? You seem more of Fortunes fool." As he made notice to the current state she was in.
He nodded understanding. "It's okay...So why are you here now?" He looked up looked up seeing that the sun was now beginning to set. He had must of slept for a few hours, he would need to head back into the city soon to begin his search once again.

A fortune's fool? The werewolf barked out a laugh at his words. When it was over, she shook her head. "Oh, I'm not a fool," Felix said quietly. "Lady Luck obeys no one, you silly little kitty." Her face lit up in a small grin. It was rare to see Felix smile, in the light of her own past experiences recently. The woman looked tired and worn down mentally and emotionally, besides those nasty wounds on her. "I'm here to find some rest.. that city is a place I hate," she spat out, face turning into one of feral disgust and loathing, lips drawn back in a small snarl as the werewolf looked to the lights of the city. "There's too much killing in this place. Peace is nothing one can find for long."
Felix looked down on her body, all beaten up terribly. Skin was bloody and bruised terribly, some wounds halfway healed, and other fresh. It was digusting to see herself this way, so the woman fell silent for a moment before looking at Alias. "I wasn't expecting to find such.. open company like you. But then, Alias, that brings me to this question: What are you doing here?" The werewolf looked the man in the eyes, not backing down on this one. Again, Felix was an upfront person.

"I was cooling off." He said simply meeting her gaze never wavering from it. The sun was peeling under the horizon now it was getting close to nightfall. He looked around the forest laid covered in a dark shadowy gray. Soon the nocturnal would be out to feed whether that was an animal or vampire Alias didn't want to find out. "I think it would be best if we got you out of those cloths...and into something a bit clean." He sniffed her head, shaking his own in small disgust. "And also a bath..." He popped his collar as he began walking back towards the city, ushering with his hand he motion for her to follow.
As the walked Alias would glanced down every so often, watching her expressions. He felt a urge to start another conversation but first he would start with a question. "So Miss Delos would we go to your home or mine, in order to get you cleaned up?" His home, well it wasn't actually his home it was an abandon apartment, seeing as the humans residing in it had fled when the chaos began.

There was an amused smile on her face, taking no offense at all to Alias' words. Of course, she smelled nasty and her clothes were barely there. Torn and tattered, they wouldn't have lasted her for more than three more days. "Ah, thanks.." Felix looked down, but followed him, brushing the red hair out of her face. The man hit a touchy subject when he mentioned her house, however. "My apartmentr is gone. The only things I have left from it are.. this" - she touched Lucian's collar that was on her wrist - "and my weapons. If you wouldn't mind me staying, just for a week at most, even, that would be great." She smiled at him, trying to steer the conversation aaway from anything that might arouse painful questions. The place that she had once lived in was truly no more, she had actually destroyed it. But again, that was a story for a different time.
The silnce became a bit pressing, before the snuffling of a loud creature came from behind them. The woman snarled, turning around. This was the night, it wasn't a time for kindness; no, this was a time for survival alone. The creature blinked back at her before it was gone. "Shifter.. I think.."

"Alias growled softly not in the mood for any sort of drama. "Lets go..." He quickly grabbed her arm gently, pulling her along in a brisk walk. He could hear the creature's heart beat echoing, it might have been out of sight but it was not gone. Alias grip was firm but gentle as he made sure to mind any bruising or cuts. A sudden roar stopped him he looked back to see the shifter that had taken a form of a rather massive bear, it got up on it's haunches roaring once more before it began charging towards them.
Alias without giving Felix time to regret threw her onto his back making sure her arms were linked around his neck he took of running when he finally reached a certain speed he leaped onto all fours where he began to get even faster. Though the bear was still behind him tailing him and catching up. "Hold on." He looked up at Felix briefly before using his own haunch's he leaped up onto a tree. Nails digging into the bark he climbed till he got a good height before he began jumping from tree to tree being as graceful as a cat.
Till finally they were out of the woods and back onto the highway, that would lead them back into the city. He skidded on the road his nails scrapping the asphalt till he finally halted. He looked back at the woods the scent, sound and presents of the shifter were gone. "I think we lost him..." He realized that he was still on all fours and quickly stood up, letting the woman slid off him with ease. He cleared his throat, trying to regain some of his composer feeling a little embarrassed that he had acted more or less like an animal.
He quickly drew his attention back to her, circling her taking note to all the bruises and cuts that she had looking for any new ones he might of cause. "I hope I didn't hurt you Miss Felix..." His voice was withered with genuine worry as he truly cared for the woman's well being. Straightening himself up he looked at her, feeling as though he should smile but he didn't. "Shall we continue?"

Felix growled low as her arm was grabbed, but it died off as she realized that Alias was only trying to help. She relaxed a bit, until the roar sounded out. Her immediate action was to draw her one gun, the semi-automatic. The werewolf did just that, but was thrown over the lizard-man's back, arms going around his neck as her face buried in his shoulder. She stayed silent, though her posture was a stiff one, not liking this at all. The werewolf did not like being treated like a fucking fragile bitch. The woman could take more than most others could. The werewolf dismounted from the man in silnce, putting her gun back on saftey and hostlering it on her right hip. She brushed herself off, trying to get her hair back to at least semi-normal, her shirt becoming unruffled as she flattened it out. Despite the wear her clothes had obviously seen, the woman tried to make herself more presentable.
"Next time, Alias, if you would, ah.. not pick me up, it would be appreciated." Felix wasn't a damsel in distress! It annoyed her to no end when someone thought that she wa unable to handle herself in situations. A small, apologetic smile spread across her face. "But otherwise, I thnk we lost the shifter. That was probably her territory, and she probably saw us as a threat." The woman shrugged her shoulders. Alias circled the werewolf, and she sharply drew her breath, before relaxing once more. There would probably be bruises on her wrists, but Felix didn't mind. She had been through worse, after all. "Yes, let's continue, please," she murmured softly, her tone kinder than before.
