Incardnay Cross;; I'll infect your carnal mind I am the new way to go I am the way of the futureA medium square glass clinked with ice as Incardnay swirled a vibrant lime green liquid about within it idly. The slave auction was tonight and was scheduled in the next few minutes. So where in the world was Taylor and Edward? Usually Boss came on nights such as these to oversee the auction, as well as to receive first feeding. Despite the time crunch 'Card was a patient man, well versed in the art of delay. He had to be, especially so since he contained Physic blood.
With an inaudible sigh over the pulsating hard rock that dominated the club, he lifted his drink on up towards his flush lips, only to be interrupted with a sharp call of his name, "'Card!" oak optics gradually drifted in the direction of the yell. It was Taylor, and he was motioning for him to follow.
It was time.
Resting his drink down against the emerald counter top of the bar, Incardnay maneuvered after the henchman. His pace was slow and almost clumsy, as if he were inexcusably tired. Which indeed he was. He'd purposely starved himself for this night for there were quite the number of slaves to sell, and the energy they often produced was so fulfilling, whether it be sheer terror or overly stubborn pride. Either way it was a fresh buffet eagerly awaiting consumers.
"Where's boss?" he asked once he had caught up with Taylor within the back room."Said he'd attend possibly a little later and to go ahead and start.""Feed?""Aye."A grateful grin submerged his lips; dinner was served."Pick one and I'll get the other."He didn't have to be told twice. Instantly they parted, sauntering at a snails pace through the rows of slaves. Each were pent up within a cold, condensed cage, either glaring out at them or shrinking away. 'Card wasn't aiming to be all that picky tonight considering he was famished, but when two males caught his eye, he homed in on the cage. "Ah, what have we here?" he taunted, "two boys in one pen? My what a treat." a wicked smirk. A treat for more than one.
'Cards toned figure knelt down so he was eye level with the two, his leather jacket giving a slight groan of protest in the process. While tall, they looked a tad scrawny. Nevertheless what they lacked in meat they compensated with lean muscle. Both mops were shaggy, reaching down to about their cheeks. The bones in their visages were high, giving a slight arch to suggest prime construction. Beautiful specimens these two were, and as 'Card took a closer look they appeared almost to be twins. Either way the energy these two radiated was enough to keep him steady for an hour or two.
He had purposely situated himself a good two feet or so away from their cell; he knew all too well the penalties that could come from being too near to his prey and trying to feed at the same time. His head bowed while his appendages clasped together, his semi-slender digits intertwining to keep his limbs still while his forearms rested upon his knees. Tan tendrils draped down between his thighs while his eyes sealed themselves; full concentration was required at this time.
For the time being the drawing process was slow yet deliberate, elongated yet accurate. His broad chest fell to a timed rise and fall as the atmosphere began to collapse into a condensed chill. The two boys, Ril and Li as the tag indicated at the bar corner, pulsated with distinct energy. One was the very essence of fire itself and the other had reduced himself down to angels tears. Spicy with a chaser.
Perfect combination.
With each passing second Incardnay began to tap into their emotions, mind, soul, slowly but surely fusing as one. As time evaded them, Li and Ril would soon begin to feel more relaxed, natural, glum, tame. Their vitality began to elude them; their life force pulled and stretched from them. Tense muscles began to lax, fearful and stubborn minds put at ease."Done?" Taylors voice was far off and produced an echo of sorts, but it began to whisk 'Card back to reality, "remember, you can't drain them completely." a nod of reluctant agreement his response. His chest suddenly inflated as he carefully broke the connection from the two, his own vigor soon restored. A snide smirk addressed his lips as he fixed his sadistic gaze back upon the two now weary kids in front of him. "Ready?" he jeered before chuckling. Unlatching the padlock that kept them confined, he tugged open the cage door, only to pull the duo out with a strong hand. They stumbled forward, colliding with the slave Taylor had drained and brought along. It was a female neko, and all three practically spilled onto the cold concrete.
Slapping a pair of shackles onto each of their wrists, a stern command and sharp jerk was administered, "Walk." --- "Ladies and gentlemen! If I could have your attention please!" The lights dimmed to the point of completely dousing the club in obsidian. 'Cards voice had been restored, and the club boomed in response to it. It wasn't unfittingly deep but neither did it take on a higher octave. Lacking monotone but alive with excitement, he continued, "As you all know tonight is the night we hold our beloved auction, and boy do we have a selection for you!" a hearty cheer, "up first are two vampires and a neko bitch." Spotlights abruptly fixated themselves on both Incardnay and the three slaves so lovingly introduced, "Two you say? Aye, two vampires. They appear to be twins and because so (lucky for you dogs) you can take both home! For a price of course.." he mused deviously as a slight laughter arose from the crowd in response. His attention soon turned towards the female, "And here we have quite the pretty kitty, no?" a few exuberant agreements accompanied with some lively cat calls. "Alright alright cool it mutts. This one isn't cheap." disappointed 'aww's.' "Renee is being sold by our lovely Leona Bengara, so you know this one will be worth it. Starting bid for the neko will be 250, and for the boys, what say you, 140? 200?" he stood off to the side of the three, Taylor holding them in place.
"Any takers?" [/blockquote]

They were in a daze.
Li couldn't figure it out, but he knew he shouldn't be feeling like this. He was calm, collected; but everything playing out around him told him that he shouldn't be. He should be angry - furious - down right burning with rage at all of this. Selling him as a slave...at an auction? What do they take him for? Even the price of him, no, both of him was appalling.
However, he kept his calm persona, not that he could fight it, and allowed his eyes to study the crowd until he saw the man that had been near them moments before being taken out of their cage. This man should have made him bare his fangs, lengthen his claws - but that eerie calmness within him kept him balanced. And he hated it.
Ril, although in the same state as his other, had yet to have dried his tears from his face. The dim light around them gave his face a pasty, yet, pale look. He also still appeared shaken, but his mannerisms did not go with his expression. Despite this, he seemed to move closer to-wards Li, ignoring the shackles around his wrist, hoping to entwine his fingers with his "twin's".
Li noticed this, and allowed the connection. He knew Ril was fragile - a lot more fragile than him. Like a glass doll at best. He was the copy, after all. He smiled forcibly, trying to reassure him. But he knew even his own reassurance was fake.
So they mistook them for males, eh? Or did he mention gender? He hadn't been paying much attention. not that they could possibly know their secret - that they were neither male nor female due to a curse. Did they? How could they?
Li flushed slightly, allowing his hair to fall over his face. They had been unconscious until recently. Had one of the men tried to figure out their gender, as they themselves were rather ambiguous? God, he hoped not. If anyone found out about it, he wouldn't be able to face himself, let alone Ril. The curse was his shame, his cause for hating himself so much. He had once been so perfect in his own eyes. Now he was a freak - and if anyone else knew, he was lost to himself.
"Please, gods...don't let them know," he thought to himself, knowing no god would hear his prayer, but tried none-the-less.
After all, they were still in a daze.

He'd taken his stance with the best view of the floor, piercing blue gaze observing the happenings with a cool distinctly bored eye. The others around him, and all of there yelling was ignored. However, the ancient vampire was just as curious about the products that were to be displayed. Merrick was ever on the look out for a good pet or two, and had came seeking. Perhaps if he saw something appealing, he would make a purchase.
The vampire waited in silence, until the lights were doused within the club and the auctioneer's voice came across the room. His lip curled up slowly at the edge, as he drug himself from his thoughts and truly took interest in what was going on. Two vampires and a Neko? What an interesting fray. The neko was a lovely little thing, but it was the vampires that drug his attention. There was something distinctly unique about the pair, distinctly curious in a way that roused his mind. Never mind there obvious physical appeal.
"200, for the vampires." His deep voice carried over the crowd; all cool black velvet tones and dark male confidence. The ancient had made his decision, and didn't regret it. With new determination he set out to purchase the vampire twins, to add them to his own private collection. Though for what there purpose might be, was known only to the dark haired ancient.

Indeed, the little Neko was not happy at how she was being treated here. She had failed to get her influence around the pretty girl she had met at the club. She had thought she had at least got her to the friend stage, but it seemed Leona had a different plan for Renee. The little bitch had attacked Renee out at the graveyard, pinning her to the ground and giving Renee no way to move or escape. 'Stupid whore,' Renee continuously thought while pacing her cage. It was obvious to the others around her that she was not in a good mood. Her eyes held anger and her knuckles were bloody from hitting the cage. "Bring that little whore here! I'll kill the bitch," she would scream out, her voice full of venom and hate. She made sure no one got close to her cage. She would jump and hiss, her ears laid back flat against her head. If you thought her to be a pathetic child before, you would think differently now.
Other times the Neko seemed calm, talking to anyone she could try and get her influence on, but she was distracted and too angry to really concentrate. She succeeded in getting a little slave to succumb to her, but she didn't have the patience for anything more. She lost him eventually, but had seemed to make a new friend that she didn't want. She tried hard to get on peoples good side, trying to make them let her out of the cage. She would only end up angry and screaming once more, tiring herself out by trying to break the bars on the cage. Usually, though, the Neko was silent, as usual when she was angry. There was no one there to provoke her, though she found it made her feel a little better to demand they bring her Leona. She was ignored, though, and that only made her even more angry.
Now she had settled to pacing quietly in her cage, her tail swishing behind her in agitation. She heard footsteps coming and she turned her amber eyes to see who it was. Her ears perked for a second before laying back against her head once more. She felt a strange feeling, much like when she had been around Leona, and she reached out for emotions. She began to calm down, but she muttered under her breath. She wasn't happy with being in this cage, and she really wasn't happy about what she knew was going to happen. There was a slight growling noise coming from the back of her throat. Her eyes held frustration as her cage door was opened. She was dragged out and away and she put up very little fight. She didn't feel as though she had the energy, though she was clearly still upset. She was set, more like thrown, on the floor next to two other people and her eyes lifted, glaring at them but saying nothing. They were in the same situation.
This club was familiar to her, she saw. She groaned as she realized why. This was where she had gotten the crystal skull from. 'Go figure,' she thought, smirking a bit. It seemed the same, even smelled the same. She despised the place and hated it even more now that she was being sold to these people. She didn't deserve this, obviously. She couldn't understand why she was being sold. Her eyes moved over to the two people beside her. Vampires. One of them seemed a little more afraid than the other, but both were calm like her. She didn't care what happened to them, though, but if she could get them to do what she wanted they might be able to escape. Her eyes now met with the man who had just started speaking. He didn't seem like someone she really wanted to mess with, but it the other man who was holding her in place. She discarded her idea, but now she realized she could use Incardnay, though he didn't seem like the type of person she usually tried for.
Now her eyes moved over the crowd. They were so noisy, it seemed. When he mentioned her, she looked at him, ears flat once more. The noises coming from the crowd made her look back to them, though. It was so...degrading. She didn't speak, but her mouth opened a bit to let a hiss come forth. It seemed she would be sold for a price higher than the two boys. This made her feel a little better, but not much. She still didn't like the situation. Her eyes were challenging as they moved over the people below, as if daring them to say something to her. She wasn't in the mood to be played with. She wanted to be released from these chains and allowed to go back to her make-shift home. 'At least all my things are safe,' she thought, thinking about the pretty crystal skull she had taken from Kayen not to long ago.

Kayen had been hanging from a light post outside of the building in his bat form, silently listening to the auction proceedings and then he heard the announcer introduce the Neko. His pointy ears perked up and then Kayen dropped down from the post, turning to his Vampire form as he flipped through the air and landed on his feet. He straightened his suit jacket and adjusted his guns behind his back and then he walked towards the entrance of the Club.
One of the guards stopped Kayen at the door by placing a hand on his chest. "You're not allowed here..."
Kayen sneered down at the hand and then he casually pushed it aside as he retorted arrogantly. "Tell your boss I'm here for the girl who took what's mine... she's onstage right now and I have thousands in my wallet....."
Of course Kayen was lying through his fangs... oh, he was going to take the girl as his own, but he was also planning on wreaking havoc on the auction and killing as many slaves as he could. Incardnay would be harmed more by that than by anything else. Kayen chuckled slightly to himself as he stood there with his arms crossed over his chest.

lips that need no introduction now who's the greater sin your drab eyes seem to invite Walking into the room silent as death, Razor watched the crowd, feeding on the movement of the restless masters. The room reeked of lycan and werewolf, while blood stained the air above, but that was the slave business, and he lived for it.
Wearing a simple white dress shirt that had the top two buttons undone, a simple black vest over that, bringing an air of elegance to the outfit, without that flashiness of what the new vampires wear. As he black converses stepped on the hard concret floor, Razor felt eyes dragged to him, while 'Card was doing his wheelin' and dealin', the only thing he was truly good at. Looking at the twins upon the stage, Razor felt a distaste to them, and refused to pay them attention. Looking over to the small neko though. He always had a soft spot for them, ever since Marie.
Shoving the thought of his mind, Razor made his way to cushioned chair near the stage, where he could get the most energy, and see the best. Not to mention to watch 'Card for over draining. It was almost two simple, and watched the small neko for any movement. But paid no attention, he was here for business, and admire what he could of what the Lycans brought.

This place was cluttered with fear, pride, lust and many other unpleasant emotions. The neko man, curled up in his cage, slowly scanned the nearby slaves. It was almost like a pattern, the auras. Dull blues for the quiet slaves, hot pinks for the wild slaves, green-yellow of the sickly feeling slaves, charcoal grey for those powerful bodies used for protection, purple for the more mysterious people and white for the pure, innocent slaves. There were no greens, oranges, yellows, reds, browns, lavenders and such. There was no happiness here.
Asad may have been blind by society's terms, but he knew where he was. He was far from stupid. After being in this situation for 13 years, one did get used to it... Well as used to slavery as a captured neko could get. One of his calves twitched. It seemed that he would need to stretch soon if he wanted to avoid cramping up. A low, cat-like yawn brought his jaws apart, revealing pointed teeth and a pink, curly tongue.
He was far from calm. Asad just happened to be very sore and very tired. His fluffy tail curled in tighter around his curled form, keeping the neko warm in an otherwise cold cage. Wisps of grey-blue seemed to seep from his own body, making it hard to see the others. The neko didn't want to see the others. If he did, he'd be reminded of where he was.
A cold shiver ran up his spine as a man walked past. Whoever it was, Asad hissed and backed away. Black and red aura. Bad person. Very bad person. However, he was not the one to be grabbed from his cage. It was a few cages down from himself that a pair of vampires were pulled from their places. Poor kids. He idly wondered how they had come to be slaves.
It seemed they weren't the only ones to be grabbed. A neko girl was dragged from her cage, one that was fair distance from his own. Asad was tempted to reach between his bars and touch her, just to give her strength from one neko to another. But of course, he didn't. The last time he did, his hands had almost been crushed under a boot of a slave keeper.
"Woe to those who come upon misfortune," he muttered quietly, resting his chin on a forearm. Asad dreaded the moment he was to be dragged up onstage. If only he were completely and utterly blind. Then he wouldn't have to see the auras of the crowd. A very unpleasant experience, as he had learned in the past.

Her bodt shifted slightly, the physic vampire feeding off the gloomy atmosphere, a slight smirk on her face. This was too good to be true, though perfection was what she aimed for. Leona smirk grew a bit, remembering the last time she had saw her Neko, the one that was to be sold off here, today, and hopefully soon. Renee was like a feral cat, snarling and hissing, wanting a go at her captor and mistress.
But Leona had simply walked away, laughing mockingly, waving her off, leaving the little Neko alone in the mess she was condemning her to.
Here, the woman waited eagerly for the auction to begin, and she paced nervously, before watching another vampire enter. He seemed confident, but Leona kept her distance, giving a slight grin and the nod of her head to him, her cropped hair a nice dark brown, amber eyes taking in his appearence. Her attention was brought to the sound of muttering far away, more than likely those that would be sold off. Leona was anxious to see who her new pet would be, and how well Renee would sell for. She wanted her money for the day she had spent berating Renee. Afterward, she had the little Neko thrown in with the rest of the slaves.
felix ;;
The werewolf bristled outside, angry. A damn vampire had been let in, against her will, and she tried to stop him but that really wasn't the point here. She was worried about how well some would fair here. Of course, this woman wasn't going to be bidding, simply watching, getting research for the next time she went out to gather some and earn her money for Lucien and herself.
She was playing the bouncer this time, at least until the auctioning began and she could head inside, to see how the bidders took to the slaves. Felix stretched out, lazily, almost, and her mouth opened in a yawn, thanking the Goddess that it wasn't a full moon tonight. That would turn out ugly. Lucien was welcome to come here, but Felix wasn't sue if that would be best, so she had left him at home, her offer still standing : You can come, I won't make you, but don't make a scene.
She shook her red hair out, green eyes emeralds in the night. They watched and waited for those who happened to know where to get their slaves.

[[ Alright, once you get your slave, masters, please exit the thread so it's not cluttered and new masters can come in. You too slaves. ]] "200, for the vampires." "200!" he echoed, his figure pacing from one end of the stage to the other, "Any other offers?" none. "Sold! To the pretty boy himself." Taylor handed off Li and Ril to Incardnay, and he led the sedated duo towards the edge of the stage where the stairs were located. Two guards near the bottom snagged their arms roughly, tugging them down the rest of the way before halting before Merrick. One guards' hand extended, awaiting the deposit. Once the money was given, Li and Ril were handed off to him.
"Alright and what about Renee here? Any takers?" "Sir!" His gaze redirected itself down towards one of the door bouncers. "Not now fool I'm in the middle of an auction!" "It's Kayen. He says he wants Renee, that's it. He has money for her." His eyes narrowed suspiciously. Kayen wasn't welcome here and he damn well knew it, but money..
Now that was welcome.
"Mm, alright." 'Card stepped over towards Taylor as his digits wrapped about Renee's arm. Quick explanation and instructions were given, and with a confirming nod between the two, Incardnay stepped off the stage with Renee, heading towards the entrance to the club. Two brutes had already gathered up the next two slaves to step up on stage, and as Incardnay passed he caught sight of one of the Nekos that had hissed at him. With eyes narrowed menacingly, he purposely knocked his broad shoulder into the smaller boys own, having him slam back against the hardened chest of his current holder. A snarl was issued from the man, obviously oblivious to the fact that 'Card had done it himself. Continually pushing the Neko upstage next to his "comrade", 'Card headed outside with a smirk as Taylors voice called after him, "Up next we have Asad Jinan and Rainer Devereux!.." --- The doors burst open with enough force to smash back against the walls beside them. Incardnays visage outright displayed annoyance as did his posture via its slight indifferent slouch. The big bulky bastard was still as ugly as he'd last seen him, "How much you got." he more stated than asked. His grip wasn't as tight as it originally had been on Renee's arm, the reminder that she was still drained ringing within his noggin. ;&; Taylor nodded slightly, his hazel hues narrowing a tad in bewilderment. He'd been instructed to go ahead and sell off the next two slaves for someone was waiting outside for Renee. He wasn't quite sure who it was, but he suspected it might have been that guy that 'Card had fired recently.
Oh well.
Two chained males gradually made their way up on stage, one stumbling and bout damn near tripping over himself from the crude shoves that was being delivered from behind. His eyes were a distraught milky haze; Asad was blind. 'Puts a damper on our sales..' Taylor disappointingly regarded. "Next is a neko by the name of Asad Jinan. Male, 23 and, sorry to say folks, is partially blind. Nevertheless that doesn't mean he isn't useful! He's been known to please his masters and mistresses quite well, and might I add in more ways than one." he growled with playful seduction. "Over here is obviously Rainer Devereux, an ice demon. Appearing to be around the prime age of twenty, this guy is sure to cool off any fantasies that might be blistering in your mind." 'Twas a bad pun indeed, but Taylor wasn't one to really decorate trash. That was 'Card's job.
"Rainer: 200. Asad: 80." Damaged goods didn't exactly sell well. Nevertheless, at least some profit had to be made.

An ice demon, eh? That would be fun, though the blind one did seem interesting. He had this small quality about him, something the physic vampire could not distinguish. Her voice was raised, so that it could be well heard. "250 for the ice demon." Her voice was soft and playful, yet held a tone that said who was in charge, that Leona knew what she wanted, a bit of arrogance to it. Her grin was bigger, betraying nothing, if not hiding it all, though it soon broke into a small charming smile, her amber eyes sparkling with knowledge that was secret, belonging to her, and her alone.
She stepped slightly closer to the stage, her mind already working devilishly. This one would be a challenge if she won Rainer, but it would be worth it, more than likely. And if Leona got tired of him, the ice demon would end up back here, recycled, like an old toy nobody wanted anymore.
felix ;;
She peeked inside, listening to the auction, before heading back out, her body stretching once more. Felix took a quick look around, smirking contently. There wasn't rally anybody else here, so . .
Back inside she was, hanging put up against on of the walls, her green eyes watching, narrowed slightly. She would observe, and see how everything worked out here. There was enough people here to easily get lost in the crowd, and she did, slipping between them expertly, enjoying the atmosphere. It was truly interesting, the way the different species worked together for this, and sickening too, in a way.

Kayen's blue eyes turned towards Incardnay and then the girl. Ah yes... it was the same little thief who had gotten away with his priceless skull. He grinned softly as he saw her and then he heard the question and rolled his eyes. He reached into the back pocket of his slacks and pulled a wad of hundreds out, tossing it to the prick before he sneered "that's 500 dollars... take it and leave her here with me... she's going to get what she deserves now."
Kayen grinned slowly and evilly as he started towards the Neko like a hunter stalking its prey. His eyes were clearly filled with evil plans for the girl. "'Ello sweetheart! Remember me?" This was almost enough to make Kayen forget about the bigger plan of the night.

This is a war that was lost the day it begun Because it's the race we run, but keeps us at the start Razor looked over to Kayen Storm, the man "owning" the club that held his auctions. He has been a handful, but now offered a petty sum of money for the girl. Slowly standing up, Razor nodded to Incardnay and walked over to Kayen. "Hello Kayen, nice to see you here, if you like we can talk in your office, with the girl, to come to an agreement. Your price is quite fair, and I am sure no one shall out you, but we have separate matters to tend to."
Upon hearing the failure of a pun, Razor glanced a look to 'Card, wishing that he would continue, and not leave Taylor to such a task again. Looking to Neko girl that look almost feral, even in a sedated state. Taking upon more energy from the fidgeting crowd, Razor headed towards the doors, nodding at Felix Delos, one of the few dogs he could stand.
Taking a stand at the doors of the auctions, Razor watched Kayen, hoping that the vampire would come calming, and that he wouldn't cause the auction any more harm, as Razor had some other plans for Kayen. Watching the bidding from the back, Razor noted he was quickly forgotten, as he wanted. Tapping a bored finger against his lower finger, he made a mental note to have Incardnay find him a new slave, his last one died. Shame, he was an amazing lover.

A wad of bills slapped against his sternum, only to tap against the ground in rejection. A sneer distorted 'Card's handsome visage as he kicked the rolled up money back towards Kayens feet. As he started to come near Renee, 'Card pulled her back a step or two, "A thousand." he growled, his eyes narrowed determinedly.
Just as it seemed the two were about to have another scrap, physical this time, Edward prompted himself at Incardnays side. A nod was issued in his direction, as if silently telling him to back down. Back down. Something 'Card despised. A sudden flare of anger was soon redirected towards his boss; why the hell should he have to answer to his scrawny idiot? He could run these auctions, deal with those useless dogs and gather in slaves tenfold if he were in charge. Nevertheless.. he wasn't.
'Card simply glared out at Kayen as Boss spoke in a rather calm manner, tads of his invitation fading in and out of his conscious. ". . .talk in your office. . ." "What?!" he suddenly interjected.
Oops.
"I mean, I fired him, Edward." he subtly corrected with a slight begrudging emphasize on his Bosses name. 'Edward,' he scornfully repeated the name within his mind, 'doesn't even sound remotely menacing, let alone someone to be in charge.' Ed' glanced back towards him with a look that gave a silent order to return to the stage. Resentfully, Incardnay released the neko whore, leaving the three to whatever business Boss wished to conduct on his own.
---
"And sold! To the beautiful Leona!" Taylor stretched out Leona's name at the end. 'Card rolled his eyes as a male demon in shackles passed by him. Rainer, apparently, radiated a rather chilly aura. A good yet brief cool down for Incardnays rising temperature due to his festering anger. He was quickly becoming agitated with the situation involving Kayen and it bothered him that Edward simply passed it off like a casual transaction, even going so far as to allow the bastard back into the damn club!
A growl strummed the base of his throat as he snatched a waiting slave from one of the guards, practically hauling him up on stage next to the Neko that had yet to sell. Taylor could feel the annoyance radiating from Incardnay, so when he returned, he passed off the stage without a word, simply returning to his prior placement behind the current slaves to hold them in place. "Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen. A minor sales issue is all." despite his temper, his voice conveyed no such drama, "The new kid here is pure human. Names aren't important so who gives a shit?" alright, perhaps a little drama. "a hundred and twenty for this carcass." his gaze shifted to Asad, "Ah, what's this?" his index drifted under the tranquilized nekos chin, lifting his head a tad so his eyes could bestow his, "trash I see. Fifty for this thing then."

Kayen glared at Incardnay as he demanded more money and he hissed loudly, clenching his fists until the other man interjected himself. Kayen smirked as he saw the anger in Card's voice and he tried not to laugh. And then when Card was dismissed, Kayen turned towards Edward and he decided to see if he could have his revenge in a different way... he would go over Card's head. "Yes he fired me... for no reason other than I busted my ass and expected some respect for it! Especially from one who can't get off his ass long enough to do a little work..." he nodded in the direction of Incardnay.
Kayen turned his head to glare at the Neko with an evil grin and then he looked back to Edward. "You wanted to talk about something? I have no more office but we can speak here... I'm all ears." Kayen smiled politely. He really was interested in what Edward had to say, perhaps it would be beneficial to him, or better yet both of them.

A rainbow of colors assaulted his eyes. Reds, oranges, blacks, greys, blues, greens, purples and more. The crowd consisted of many people, some more demanding of presence than others. Despite how many negative auras there were, Asad felt unnaturally calm. He assumed this was because of the physic vampire who had sated him earlier, leaving him without much emotion.
It wasn't much surprise that he hadn't sold yet. After all, who wanted a blind slave? Ah, but that was the thing. Asad wasn't blind. His eyes just saw what others did not, robbing him of normal sight. He could 'see' people, whether they were inside or out. He could see their emotions and their natures. But of course, the brute who now stood behind him, prattling off about a human slave, hadn't explained that.
"I do believe that I am not trash, but a living being," Asad said quietly, pulling his chin from 'Card. "There is no surprise in the fact that you have a dark, evil aura," the neko said rather pointedly, staring up at 'Card. Oh yes, he could see the mongrel alright. He could feel the evil dripping from this man a mile away. And there would be no surprise if he got back-handed for speaking out of turn. But that would be alright. Asad was sticking up for himself.
