Phay sighed darkly, grumbling as she continue in walk getting more and more lost. She couldn't quite remember how she had gotten lost...and it was getting dark soon it would be nightfall and the last thing Phay wanted was to be stuck in a forest that was crawling with freaks.

Phay stopped looking around; listening for anything that sounded unnatural. Her body was completely covered in her large red cloak the hood hiding most of her face. The reflecting red glow blinding her sightly as she glanced up at the sky line.

Phay scratch her head...she needed a bath but being homeless as she was she didn't have the privilege of a nice warm shower, she would later have to settle for a cold stream. Not only that later on if she ever got out of here she would have to find a place to sleep for the night.

Suddenly the hair on the back of her neck stood up as she could hear something walking towards her. On the inside she was shaking with terror but you would never had guess that with her face expression. She brought a hand to the hilt of her sword readying herself for anything.

Yet again zain had found himself in yet another odd place of choice. It was fact that this world was a immortals playground and that there were still so many places to see, specialy with the fact that this world changes everysingle day. So as Zain stood upon the top of a giant pine tree with his hands in his pockets he noticed the horizon. It was beautiful with its mix of reds and yellows. This world was truelly beautiful..but man were just..disgusting..with only a few worth even being here. With that Zain leaned back as he began to fall head first towards the ground. One would have thought this foolishness. But Zain was no fool, maybe a flirt with danger, but no fool as he flipped and landed softly in time to see in the corner of his eye what looked to be a large Grizzly that was ready to swipe at a young women in the woods. His evil half told him to leave her be, but his good half told him to intervene. He himself saw that saving her would be fun and slightly entertaining. Even if only for a brisk moment as he flashed stepped into mid air before the grissly as Zain spun into a round house kick to level the giant hunter of the woods before landing upon one foot then setting his other down. Zain then turned his head to the side as a few of his bangs fell to one side of his face to reveal such bright cat like green eyes-

Phay stepped back slightly almost tumbling to the ground, everything had happened so fast at one point she was defending her life next there was some creeper standing in front of her. She glanced at his cold emerald eyes instantly feeling a chill up her spin she quickly looked away.

Taking a gander that maybe he had come from the direction he was standing in front of was the way back to the city or at least away from him. She looked quickly at him again taking in every aspect as she was sure that he was not just any regular human if at all.

She side stepped a little making some distance as he ask her why was she here, like she would actually tell him that she was simply lost. She had been hoping to get to the meadow but so far she was having no luck. Early deciding that giving up and heading back was the best thing but that was when she had gotten lost. Adding a little more distance she walked past him not looking at him or giving him the time of day. "None of your bloody business."

The last thing Phay needed was another creepy person to start stalking her or worse yet killing her. She looked up at the sky, with all the red it was hard to tell which time of day it was but by her internal clock she could tell it was soon going to be hitting sundown and that was most certainly a time when Phay did not want to be out in the woods.

Zain narrowed his eyes to the rudeness this women portrayed at him as he turned fully toward her watching her as she moved."I suppose a thanks is to much to ask no?"He spoke is a harsh yet smooth gentlemen like tone as he leaned up against a tree."Now I will ask again. Why are you out this far from any nearby town? Your surely to be eaten alive once that son falls. After all that bear was the least of your worries...actually never mind. I don't have time to waste on ungrateful humans who cant even thank someone for a kind gesture." -With that he pushed off the tree and put his hands back in his pockets as he began walking away mumbling about how ungrateful humans are.

Phay stopped glaring darkly at the man that had called her ungrateful...even if he was right. Phay was use to being judge before anyone got to know her though that's how Phay liked it that way she could never get into trouble. Still the way he had said it like that...so smooth almost like he was walking away with the last laugh. Phay growled lightly disliking the man more and more by the second and before she knew it she was doing something completely out of character...

She was walking up to him, she grabbed his shoulder turning him with surprised ease her glaring ice blue eyes matching his emerald ones as she looked up at him. Most of her hair covering her face as her hood fell down exposing her brown bundle of mess. She gotten this far and yet she hadn't planned out anything to say so she said the next thing that came to mind. "I never asked for your help...that was your choice not mine, besides I could of handled it myself."

Zain didnt budge his stare. No he leaned down closer and then smiled at her. "Your lost..and you have no idea where to go from here do you?"
His smile grew into a smirk as he lightly pushed her back alil."Maybe I didnt ask..but you arnt going to make it out here with that attitude, And I dont know about you but id prefer to get out of here before that sun falls. Now if you will..Good day!"

Phay's eye gave a twitch...the bastard...the hate for this man was growing at a large as she watched him retreat back further into the woods. The smug little fucker...Phay didn't understand why she was getting so pissed off for. Maybe because he was right that she was lost and without some sort of help she be lost forever well till something came and killed her. Grudgingly she began following behind him, keeping a far distance between them as she hope that he was heading back into the city.

Zain walked for about thirty minutes with out turning around. He knew she was there and he could feel her eyes burning holes into his back.It was amusing and held very much satisfaction to the part of being right. Soon though to his surprise he saw a old worn out cabin in the distance. Part of its roof was fallen threw and it seemed as if nobody had lived here for years. All in all it would do for some shelter this night. The sun had fallen now and already you could hear he howls of wolfs in the woods. Weather they were wheres or lycans or standard wolfs didn't matter. It was still the fact it was black outside and he could not exactly see well in the dark. Zain then stepped upon the old creaky steps as some dust fell from the over hang. "Oh yes..this place is gonna be great.." With that he opened the door slowly as a shotgun blast hit him threw the door throwing him back onto the ground as he cringed in pain. "FUCK!" It was a booby trap laid out to keep people away, apparently a parting gift from the original owner. Fortunately Zain could heal but he needed to get all the buck shot pellets out of his stomach and fast or else his scent would attract quite the crowd. So with shear effort he rose back up the poach before leaning onto the door looking back at the women. "I..advice you hurry. It may get alittle rough tonight."

Phay couldn't help but glance at him smug look on her face as her lips turned slightly upwards as she walked past him and into the house. "Smooth..." She brushed back some of her hair looking at the gun that had been connected to some sort of mechanism. She wrapped her hand around the barrel of the gun ripping it from the rest of the machine quickly tossing it to the floor.

The cabin was pretty much barren save a small table with a single chair, there was also an old wood burning stove. There was cabinetry but most cupboard doors were broken if not missing completely needless to say there was nothing in them anyway. She continued in the floor bored weaned under her weight, the cabin had to be decades old if not more. She walked over to a sink testing to see if the still work with great effort she turned the nozzle surprised to see clean water come out.

Phay had forgotten the man that was still currently slumped against the door. She had already guess that he wasn't human seeing as no human could still stand up or even be alive after that. She glanced at his bleeding torso where the bullets were currently lodged into him. Sighing she walked over to him grabbing him by the arm leading him over to table making him sit down. She said nothing only stared at him with a blank expression only after a moment did she pull out a small first aid kit from her back pouch tossing it on the table where it landed next to him. "Everything you need is in there...."Her tone was flat as she took one more lingering look at the man before turning away walking towards the door making sure it was shut before making her way to a window that was adjacent from him; deciding that watching the sun set was much better then looking at him.

Zain moved slowly towards the chair as he sat down with her assitence. She had shown a kind jesture but still remained a very calm stuck up bitch. Something he was growing quite tired of to be exact. As he took the first aid kit in hand he opened it and removed a pair of tweesers. It would be all that he would need as he leaned back and began to extract the shot from his abdomen. Painful it was..but it was something he had done many times before. With the shot removed he felt much better as he stood up stretching. Already the wounds began to seal and heal them selfs. He would be fine, but weather the night would go smoothly or not was way to early to call. "Hey..what did you say your name was again? Or are you still going to give me that damned cold shoulder?"
He stepped up to the side of her watching the last fragment of sun fade into darkness. "And so..let the fun begin." It did not take long as howls came closer and closer. Something was on its way whether they knew what it was or not. If phay was to look closely she would suddenly see the glint of a beast that seemed to have no hair upon its body yet looked like a wolf..and a man? Quickly it lept into the air and ran across the roof as silence followed.

Fun? Oh yes this would be lots of fun...Phay mentally slapped herself, of all the people she could be stuck out here with it had to be this guy this I-thinking-fighting-for-our-lives-is-fun. She looked at him from the corner of her eyes, glaring. What was it with this man...one minute he was keeling over in pain and next he was up and ready to kick ass.

Phay sighed she had ignored him completely about her name, like hell she would just give it to him. Phay had learn her lesson with trusting people with her name or in general, She wasn't about to get coaxed by some creepy sliver haired freak. He should have a giant sign over he's head that said 'beware of asshole' Phay look over at him smiling sightly impishly imaging the sign.

Suddenly heard something, it was faint and for a moment she had thought she might of imagined it. She stepped into the center of the room following the small noise, glancing around she couldn't pin point what it was. Her paranoia was telling her to run now while her logical side was saying stay put it's probably only a mouse or something. That resolve she simply shrugged and began making her way back to the window still refusing to give the man any sort of acknowledgment or answers to his questions she remain stiff and silent like a bored.

Zain had not imagined that noise or what he saw. His instinct told him to ease back slowly and remain very still. Whatever was up here was now in hunt mode. As Zain looked to the women giving him the most half ass smile he had seen he heard a horrible scream/cry from atop the roof. Fortunately the woods did not seem to go pitch black, it still held a somewhat reddish glow to it, but Zain sure wished it did as the creature poked its head into the hold in the roof. It tongue slithering from its mouth slowly as it looked around. Oh god this...thing! It was hideous.


As the girl got ready to move again Zain grabbed her and covered her mouth as he leaned down slowly. "Don't move..don't breath..Dont even fucking think."
This creature didn't seem to have eyes which was not good. It meant it hunted by other various means. He was assuming scent or sound at this point in time. Slowly though the creature pulled its head back before walking around in a circle on the roof. Apparently it was frustrated as it let out another giant hideous roar.

Phay had wanted to punch the guy for touching her for putting his filthily hand over her month but her mind was in a panic not from the creature but from how close this guy was...it was unnerving for her. Her mind was screaming at the body to move and run away but her body wasn't listening. Forcing herself to calm down Phay then heard the second roar.

She glared up at him darkly, which caused her body to shift which then cause the weak rotting wood to creak and break underneath her foot. The sound hadn't been really loud and she hope that whatever that thing was hadn't heard it. A even louder roar from the creature was her answer. She watched it creek down of the open ledge the force shook the whole house as it landed. The floor broad's creaked heavily under it's weight.

Phay gulped quietly not noticing she had pressed herself closer into Zain as the creature still seemed to be looking for them, it's tongue flicking in and out as it circled the room slowly inching it's way closer and closer to the pair; Phay just hoped that Zain had a plan.

Zain cursed in his mind as that creature hoped down. Shit he was bigger up close that he originally thought. But from the looks of it, one good strike to its brain would do the trick. Come on zain, this wouldn't be to hard would it? He did not have much time as the creature stepped right up to the women, our breathing....fuck he could hear our breathing!!! Slowly its tongue snaked out and ran up the side of the womens cheek leaving a layer of saliva as Zains grip tightened around her mouth as he shouted in his mind. Don't scream, for the love of god to not scream! It was no good though as he leaned back letting out a deafen roar at them as Zain threw the girl to the side before thrusting his claws forward at its brain only to have its tongue wrap around his hand like a vine as the creature turned its head flinging zain across the room hitting the wall." Fuck...Close your eyes and turn around!" He had a plan but it was risky as his hand began to glow with a white light before shooting it forth at the creature. The holy light quickly en snarled the beast in flames as it roared in agony before litterly exploding, coating the entire inside of the room in its blood.

Phay had done what he had asked stumbling into the far corner, turning from the scene as she crouched down, hands over her ears her eyes screwed tight. She tried to drown out the ear splitting roar but as soon as it happened it was over. Phay opened her eyes blinking slightly, slowly looking behind her blood, organs and bone remains litter the floors, ceiling, walls and thank god had some how missed her for the most part as only the bottom of her cloak had blood on it.

She stood up feeling the drool on her cheek, growling, She walked over to Zain staring at him darkly wiping the spit of her cheek and rubbing it on his before he had time to react. She wiped her hand clean on his sleeve sneering at him as she walked away. The man had put her right in front of harms way. He probably would have let the beast kill her if he had not been right behind her. Typical, people around here where always like that heartless emotionless freaks that cared about nobody but themselves. She went back to the corner sitting down pulling her hood up over her head drawing her knees up to her chest so she could rest her head on them. People were heartless...course she was really one too talk.
